it usually means your gpu doesnt meet the minimum requirements, you can try:

Launching on vulkan instead of dx
Setting texture quality to low
Updating your graphics drivers

the seed doesnt change with each playthrough, it rotates every 24hrs. there was a patch (2 if you count the reversal), so it recently changed, but otherwise the major landforms you see will be there for everyone and remain there the next run

the only things that randomize are spawnable food/equipment, so stuff in lugages is random, bushe berries will be random, mushrooms, shelf shrooms, etc.

Launching on vulkan instead of dx
Setting texture quality to low
Updating your graphics drivers

played my first solo game and made it all the way thru the tropics, mesa, caldera, and like over 1/2 of the kiln before i glitched out on a wall corner and took a bunch of fall damage since i was a skeleton for the entire run after i got the book of bones at the 1st campfire 😭☠️

BlingBong makes you immune to damage and if you hold it out constantly it slows hunger gain. You can escape mesa with Blingbong and one spool of rope, plus your flare.

I play regularly on A6 for fun. Even without balloons, it's possible. Abuse the fact that Blingbong stalls hunger while you hold it, take shorter climbs and use gear you find immediately to make your climb easier, you don't get to hoard stuff for kiln because of the weight.
