But yeah getting the LNT challenge done solo without having to use any of my shelf fungus I was surprised, I could of done the challenge on my previous run but I sacrificed it to do the antlion and cactus challenge instead and I just finished the 100m rope challenge with two friends on my last run for the night

All that’s left is the mushroom challenge and it shouldn’t be too hard good night and good luck all scouts, you can do it 👍

The alpine one is very easy, you can die at the tropic/apls campfire by burning yourself to death and then get revived when your teammate reaches the alps/caldera campfire

Or (and this is what I would reocmmend), try to complete the challenge properly, you'll have more fun that way

iirc, they dont differentiate between set or not set maps. they do differentiate between maps before 1.6, ones for 1.6.b and those after 1.7 (inclusive)

from what I know they create a new set of maps for every update, I dont think that they have any intend to keep the old seeds

i mean, the maps (as of update 1.35) only have 7 total biomes with at least 4 variants each
EDIT: caldera, kiln and peak DO NOT have variants

I am not following again, the maps do rotate after a certain set number of variations? So the same tropics map CAN occur say a few weeks later?

its highly unlikely to be exact same, but say, todays tropics were of bombs variant, its possible that in next update we will see another map where tropics are also of bombs variant

the rocks will be in different positions though

only the visual and overall feel of the biome will stay the same (on same variants)

Gotcha. I was wondering the other day if you could recognize an old level that you previously played thats why I was wondering. Or if there was like 10 different layouts of a tropics and you could find a favourite one.

technically if the current rotation of the maps runs out we are likely to get the same seed again but I dont think that will ever happen cause usually there will be a new update
