Not quite sure how to explain really how to do it. I'm going to assume you're struggling with the lower section that has a lot of hot rocks you gotta pass

I recommend trying to save a water bottle or two for that point and trying not to panic while you're cooking alive. Try to look around for any holds going up, that section is pretty long

When I did that part there was 2 of us and we split up and climbed opposite sides. So I know they are both possible but also me and the guy I was climbing with are absolute legends so that doesn't always translate well for others.

how?? in the alpine all you have to worry about are blizzards and once you're in the mountain you're chilling. mesa you have to deal with 4 homing tornadoes, tumbleweeds with aimbot, cactuses, the sun, scorpions, TNT, and some really complicated climbs (especially deeper in the mountain). not to mention the mesa doesn't have many variants as far as i can tell

Ive heard that you can make it trigger by specifically running out of stamina on the wall while youre climbing. Its not clear when the game checks for your height change, but apparently running out of stamina checks, so keep climbing til you slide even if you make it past 50m

Some advice for learning, play on tenderfoot and dont overcommit to a wall. If it looks like youre not going to make it, fruitlessly lunging is going to get you hurt or even dead. Harder to learn if youre dead

Tenderfoot might have less hunger and you can climb further, but if youre under pressure from the fog and mistakes kill you rather than just slow you down, that will make it harder to learn (e.g. you never try out a kingberry or get frozen in the alpines)

I cant check cuz no PC sadly general advice though, go up more than you go forwards. Bad tropics tend to kill people under the overhang that comes back towards the shore-side

Try to keep as pure as possible, hold to the wall until youre out of stamina, climb directly up (are you sure your wall is 50m, e.g.) and minimal tool usage
