Imagine you light the campfire of a biome, and the fog clears to a giant castle, ladders and wooden scaffoldings up the side, maybe some unfinished walls, but as you start climbing it, it starts getting defended by like siege tactics, so buckets of hot oil, or ladders shaking violently, and other ways of defense :) idk what the biome specific items would be but ngl it seems like it would be really fun

Yeah, normal or i prefer watchin those using lvl 6-7 speedruns.
Unless u wanna learn few tips n tricks.
But again, lvl 6 makes u learn ways to climb, go around or give up n look somewhere else.
Solo has good n bads, yeah food n resources but if u mess it up, u can be done for it.
Going multiplayer is harder tho, cuz the sleep darth and few (team use items).
No connection only holds better 1 player items.

The modifiers stack, so ascent 7 has all of the previous modifiers. I could not tell you the other 9 modded ascents because I have not played it.

Solo high ascent is a lot easier than 4p since you don't need as much food and you're faster

Think the difficulty for high ascent is duo easiest then solo followed by 3p and 4p

Try and repair the files. Right click the game on your steam library and hit properties, then find repair files and do that

I feel like Ascent 4 will be a challenge but I also had solid RNG with balloons to make ascent 3 managable. I have seen some people's videos on ascent 5 solo. It will be difficult and will probably lengthen the run by a good 30 minutes if not more. But I think its achievable. Just a question of making sure you keep track of day night when climbing so You don't get stuck out
