I use and recommend vulcan if your game starts having problems as it appear from the bug logs that vulcan has a lot less frequent bug issues

Well, I have had 0 graphical issues on DX12. I am not bothering with reading logs, but the game is fully playable for me, in solo and in lobbies. (Since Kee's problem is lobbies and not graphics, might be worth a shot.)

Im just stating ive been helping with the bug reports and other people and vulcan seems to usually resolve the issues, or at least make the game playable for them, its different for everyone though, as not everyone has the same setup or drivers, and there are always variables

I cannot tell anyone why people struggle to join lobbies, as I have not reviewed the game's code or logs to identify the real cause of connection issues. I do know the game-joining feedback is inconsistent for a lot of people. And I do know that 1 specific joiner tried to join me 5+ times on Vulkan before we suggested he try DX12, at which point it immediately worked. Was that a coincidence? Very possibly so. I can't say. The only certain fact for me is that the guy told me he switched to DX12 when it finally worked, and he attempted to join many times to various degrees of failure, ranging from not connecting at all to not being able to talk on microphone.

That he even switched is of course not certain. He could have in theory lied, though I have no clue why he would.

I think it is known for being able to reduce CPU load and may work better on systems that aren't built for DX12 (perhaps on Mac e.g.).

Hold on to food, it actually falls slower than you think, the slight bit of extra weight from 1 or 2 scout cookies will help you out for sure.

As for the freezing, wind is super rough, stick near crevices till you get to the mountain, then just stay on the interior as much as that day's layout allows. Keep in mind the blue stuff will freeze you too

I haven't played today's layout yet so I'm not sure, but in my time playing I've never noticed the wind being faster or slower to show up day-to-day, sometimes you just get unlucky with when it shows up fr... but yeah if the wind is a big problem or the layout today doesn't have good hiding places, pack the lantern from the start, it helps heat you up faster

Easiest way is to either use scoutmaster bugle or if you are playing with friends have someone stay at the base of shores while you climb up to the top. He will meet you there and try to give you a hug :)

i played with 4 people, and if 1 died or messed up, it slows us down a lot... this is the biggest challenge..

You can Google it but if the devs are paying any attention to their game, which they seem to be, that way of cheating won't last long. Tbh I have no sympathy for the exploiter's weird feeling of superiority about that mode of cheating -- so if you want to cheat, I would just go all out and grab a good mod. Beating the game with infinite resources is no more impressive than beating it with infinite stamina to me.

It's a learning experience. From a mechanical point of view, in my opinion, the gameplay of this game is not meant to be extremely challenging. As I see the levels, the design intent seems to be that the decision making is the intended challenge of the game. You're not supposed to spam jump straight up a surface with no stamina, and you're not supposed to have infinite healing items... You're supposed to pick smart paths and avoid, retreat, learn from bad paths.

(I'm not going to reduce that to a number because I think nothing good would be accomplished by doing so.)

It is an fov issue, your fov is set to zero and you need to put it back to whay you want in settings. @open ember dx12 unless issues arise, then vulkan
