Hey, anyone else experiencing performance issues in the game on Linux?

It runs perfectly under Windows with an average of 300fps, but for some reason, on Fedora with KDE Plasma and Wayland, I struggle to get more than 90fps and it’s constantly stuttering.

I’m using Vulkan and Proton Hotfix, and this issue doesn't happen in any other games.

Anyone know what I could try, or maybe have an idea why the performance is so bad?

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900X

RAM: 32GB DDR4 3600MHz

Stay well fed and drop your bag, 1 night = 1 stamina bar of cold so you can wait for day(might pass out for a while), don't use lantern in the shore and tropics if you can. Stack up on any scorchberries you have and cook them. I assume the bigger problem is alpine, so keep your heat items for that

If you want actual advice: Bring a lantern with you at all times and use it to warm you up during the nighttime (there's one at the planewreck), but use it sparingly - you should generally get to the campfire during the nighttime and use that to heal most of your frost. scorchberries from the tropics and the capybaras in alpine are also really useful

You can pretty much speedrun up shore before night hits and (wait at campfire) if you know the seed (even if u don't but might take a bit longer), in tropics you can keep an eye out for scorchberries, one is enough to make you wait out the night without passing out(if u drop bag). Just don't take dmg or get poisoned so you don't freeze at night and then you can continue once day hits
