I play my own take on ultra hard core survival. lol. Since I play it like an MMO and a party system, travelling solo is super dangerous.

Getting swarmed by 10 dragons is not something you can survive without 4 or more companions.

My TYPICAL party consists of Sofia and Inigio (insanely popular modded followers). Usually Lydia too since she and Inigo are friends and have super funny dialogue.

Most enemies are de-leveled, and with bandit mods, raids, etc. my Skyrim is far more dangerous than vanilla.

hostile animals run in packs, so wolve packs can spawn with 1-6 normal wolves, and each normal wolf can spawn 1-3 pups or lower rank wolves. I have been attacked by 20+ member wolf packs.

Bandits have war dogs, pet spiders, and some are vampires or werewolves.

The bandit cave near Riverwood was FULL of bandit werewolves.

Combat is also tactical and in full 3D movement. Get flanked and I can get critically hit for up to 90% damage from a kill move. or stun locked.

Using a potion REQUIRES a drinking animation which can be interrupted. So potion drinking is a tactical choice. no more pausing the game and drinking 40 potions at once.

overall my skyrim is a gooner game with as many realistic, immersive, and hard-core survival mods as I can cram in lol.

I also got into modding big time after skyrim.

It was THE game that revolutionized modding and tbh it's a buggy mess of a game.

There is a mod called "Static Reload fix" that fixes a glitch almost 8/10 players never even knew about.

The glitch: Every time you fast travel, use a loading screen (like using a door), or reload a game after death, there is a HIGH CHANCE that animated objects like wooden water wheels, fluttering fabrics, etc. freeze in place.

Tiny details like curtains and flags moving in the wind is literally broken in the base game, so millions of Skyrim fans have never seen subtle details that are IN THE GAME. Cause of busted coding they never fixed.

Back in 2011, Bethesda released a major bug fix. 6 months later they dropped the Dawnguard DLC. But used coding from the broken game engine.

So they re-introduced bugs they had fixed just 6 months prior...... One of which is in the Riften Ratway and can crash your game or corrupt save files. The only players who can fix that specific bug are on PC. All console players have the bug and no way to fix it.

That's the risk the MODDER runs for using copyrighted music.

I have over 3,000 mods on storage that have been scrubbed from the internet for various reasons. Some removed/banned.

Most are removed by the modder themselves.

With True Music, however, as long as the mod is for individual use (aka solo play), there is little that can be done.

It's the MP experience where people would have a leg up on getting it pulled.

Other mods have been banned multiple times then just get re-named and re-uploaded.

True music mods put a folder with pirated songs on your computer. You can extract them if you want and know where to look. That's why it concerns me. My question is basically I want to loot the hardware store the police station and the pharmacy to set up base at the fishing store but how do I kill all the zombies I didn't even make it to the hardware store for weapons and the pharmacy and police station are not to far away from the hardware store so its got to be crawling right?

They will randomly sandbox around until SOMETHING pulls them away.

Typically, the hoarde will move apart into smaller chunks (base setting is 20 zeds I think?).

Then RNG will have them wander around 10-100 tiles throughout every day.

It can takes days or WEEKS for it to fully "dissipate".

Sometimes it won't at all. Cause the other aspect of zombie hordes is that zeds attract other zeds. So a group of 10 WANTS to be a group of 20. Their zombie friends in the woods will wander over and join.

Then when a group hits 40, it splits into 2 groups of 20 and those start to grow.

Long answer longer:

If you want zed hordes to go away, it's better to lead them away with a car alarm, siren or other method

This conan mod was pulled in under 48 hours of it's posting. Either using assets without permission, or a likeness, or other reason. They don't disclose the reason.

Only about 2,000 maybe 200 of us downloaded it before it was yoinked.

I can use the mod in my own game, but distribution is the no no bit, so I can't re-upload the mod to Nexus or other sites.

But that means that this particular conan mod only exists in skyrim games that got the mod the first 48 hours it dropped.

I have seen the largest hoard of zombies in my life (not that I play to much on survival) its by the police station and the gas station and gets worse when you head to the fishing store but that's open grass good line of sight.

My car is almost dead and I have guitars, hammers and a mostly used up red axe (I'm fire officer). 2- Never travel without 2-3 days worth of food and water in case you have to hide out. Always prep. If you think 2 bottles of water is not worth the space in your backpack cause you need space for loot, then you are setting yourself up for hard times. Water is more important that an extra pound of loot.

3- Hide out away from the horde. Take a few days to find a car. Honk it and draw the zeds away.

4- You can out WALK zombies. No zombie is faster than your walking speed except for Sprinters. So with a solid escape route and planning, you can yell at a horde and have it follow you out of town, then you can escape and come back Later.

Dont panic. Prep. Plan. Always have an escape route.

And most Important tip: Patience.

99% of deaths in this game are due to players beign impatient, being too cocky, or making mistake because they are in a hurry and overconfident.

The ONE time you don't check a door before opening it is the ONE TIME you hit a bathroom hoarde of 20 zeds and they insta kill you.

I have a duffle bag, a satchel and a fanny pack, I keep some stuff on my person, like one thing to eat and a bottle of water, some bandages, disinfectant stuff, some magazines, beta blockers and rags and bandages in my main inventory and whatever weapons I have on me for combat.

In my fanny pack I keep the essentials that aren't anything to do with life or death. This is the hammer, the saw, some rope a screwdriver, that kinda stuff and maybe some extra bandages or ripped sheets.

My satchel I keep food (mostly cans I don't want to risk spoiling food I didn't eat), a can opener, extra clothes at least a hoodie or jacket or something, extra weapons and, extra water and having high thirst I think more then 3 bottles total is needed so I'll grab a third and put it here as well so 3 in the satchel one on my person.

My duffle bag gets whatever random, hey I might read this book, I should grab some duct tape, I think I want some metal and electronics, I should have a radio for whenever I find a base, maybe a battery, maybe some seeds or a hand shovel, screws, nails, random crap like that.

If I needed to I could risk it, I could hide out in the woods, ration my food and water, I just don't want to risk it as usually I'm bitten when doing so and hide out in some house or two for more food as I need to wash up and eat up and disinfect the wounds to get the antibodies going with this mod so cleaning the bandages and body is all but a do or die especially if I don't do either one.

Find a house nearby, stay quite. Just be patient and methodical and find whatever you need.

Need a car? Don't just sprint around a city running up to every car. Take your time.

Need to lure zeds away from your base? scream at them, take them into a backyard with a tall fence they can't break.

Hop the fence. Now you have them trapped in that backyard for a few hours or days and you got some breathing room in the other other parts of town.

I would be OK finding a car if I didn't set off 3 alarms on 3 parts of the city like a triangle. The whole town is crawling now. I am running low on pain killers, beta blockers and disinfectant (bottle of disinfectant but I do have one antibodies left) and good weapons less a guitar is a good one. My car is low on tires and especially engine and I am south west of main town part with the shops held up in a house waiting for the day (soon) I am to run out of water and power from the shut off.

I have extra random crap loot and a generator in my car so I really don't want to ditch this as its also full.

What exactly do I do and where do I go to get the hoard away from the spots I want to loot and base up in?

I am going to have no exercise, just stay put, eating when I am not full extra healing, washing whenever it let's me, changing dirty rags and reading whenever I am stressed to get the infection down. When the infection goes down again I'll worry about a base plan and how I kill the hoard.

Question yourself whether the loot and basing up there is worth it in your condition. Even fully armed and supplied from military surplus store, I rarely think a city downtown is worth the effort unless I can sneak in and out quickly. With your condition, I would bug out the town. I'll try to lour them away later when I am rested up, I'm far away from any good spots to lore the zombies to to then hop the fence of at two of the three spots I set off an alarm for though.

I also hate that I can't really see behind myself so I either combat stance lore them away and get grabbed by someone from the side or behind me or I walk away and the hoard stops following after a bit or I round a corner or something for a tall fence and now at least half the zombies didn't even follow me to the other side of the fence so are waiting for me on the other side. I can't just walk to a wall walk behind it and then hop either I have to get to a corner of both walls from the fence and hop that one or they see where the fence ends and walk to it to get around and so going back and louring the other half over means the first half are in my way again and yeah... At least in my experience and I acknowledge I'm just bad at the game though a little.

I have a third of a red blade axe that's the firefighter axe the quick swinging one right? An extra leather jacket a guitar mostly undamaged and 2 hammers mostly good condition.

Don't get me wrong I am not heading back there till after I have healed and won't just be in so much pain I don't swing fast enough or hard enough to stop zombies from grabbing me in combat stance or at least to be able to kill them. And I'm not heading back without a car that won't break down as my get away vehicle being that I worry if I'll pop a tire driving to much more on grass (not to badly but still they are way worse then normal condition) or that my engine will stop working altogether if I accidentally ram into a few zombies in the hoard.

I don't think I necessarily need to get so far away from town that people say yeah that's just totally 100% not Riverside anymore but I will go find a better car and at least something else for a weapon while I'm on the outskirts if town hoping I'm far enough away that if I do set off yet another alarm the hoards from the other ones don't hear it mostly so if I get slightly closer and do set one off or do stuff I don't attract even more zombies over there.

If you want to risk it or wait until you get a better car, you can lure away the zombies from that part of that town with your car. Just drive through town constantly honking and exit on the other side. Important that you exit the town on the other side and not backtrack. You can go around the long way to the original position so not to attrack the zombies back. For example, if you enter riverside through the police station side, you can drive honking all the way and exit through the Southwest side before circling back to the police station via the long route. That should give you a lot more breathing space as long you don't use gun.

The problem to me anyways with swiveling when doing combat stance is that usually means I have to leave combat stance and walk away a tad first or the hoard kills me when I stop backing away from them.

I get what your saying but if I try to replicate this with a strategy I could also use to liberate other places like the factories or especially storage lockers, places that don't have tall walls or if they do they aren't 2-3 sided and connected so I hop the fence the zombies know just go around the fence that wouldn't work so I'd need a new plan and HOW THE HELL DO I LEAD THE ZOMBIES BY THE FOREST AND THE FISHING STORE ALL THE WAY TO THE HOUSES NEAR THE OTHER SIDE OF THE GAS STATION TO CONFUSE THEM ON WHERE I AM STILL?

Looking at the map, you can do the southwest route without driving into the main downtown area, which mean you should be able to avoid too many accidental crashing into zombies on your trip

I can try that no way in hell I'll risk it without a new car though if I don't have the few random zombies I will have to bump into kill the engine that much driving if a 4th or especially at least a 3rd is on grass I'll likely pop a tire and be stuck on a bad tire getting out to be surrounded by a hoard. I might ask one of the mentors or people that said they could teach me to help me, maybe not clear all of the zombies but at least show me how to do so and stay in the car with me to save my ass if I try later and shit hits the fan?

After making the mentor post I was like no I should learn this myself and gave up but now its sounding way worse then yeah just throw a Molotov on them and keep going in circles to prevent them from going anywhere but on you so they burn themselves and not the forest or town or just go far enough away the game will despawn or dissipate the zombies after enough days. So its a lot harder then I thought.

Also, you can't drive fast if you are luring zombies horde with your car. You will outrun them too fast. You want to drive at a walking pace, turning and accelerating only to avoid the zombie from touching your car and keeping them behind you. That should minimize any crashing as well. Another alternative is you can gather alarm clocks, set them off in the interval. Sneak into town and leave a trail of them to your desired area that you want to lure them too.

I don't know if I feel safe going into fully town and doing the alarm clocks so many zombies that would just see me.

I know to drive slow and all and I'm lucky the path from the gas station to the gated community has very few crashes so I won't have to go around stuff much but I'll still have to hit some zombies on the way or accidentally hit something at some point. That could cause my car to turn off and take a few starts to restart and the zombies could hit the hood 1-3+ times and no instead of starting on the worlds worst engine it doest start at all. That's how bad it is for this car, I also have not the best tires so while it won't happen most likely I did drive on a lot of grass and dirt if I do so again for any reason in the back of my mind I'd worry about if the car will loose 1-2+ tires soon and that's meaning they will surround you and kill you if a tire pops or goes flat doing this.

Well, Altis and stratis. Which are two good maps, but they will get boring eventually. There are also mods for very good maps out there, so there’s that too.

The DLCs that I would recommend if you end up getting any are probably apex, and maybe marksman. Past that I’m not sure any of the rest add enough to be worth it if you’re just gonna play modded anyways (which most of us do)
