in build 41 certain items (like nails and shotgun shells) were defined in portions for spawning logic, so spawning 1 'Nails' would give five Nails items, or 6 shotgun shells when spawning one 'Shotgun Shells'
since the script for cabin in the woods relied on those and wasn't updated to b42, you now get much less nails, ammo, etc from the shop which makes it much harder to play

I think the biggest indication of when the singularity actually hits, is Win storage memory, for computer devices becomes ubiquitous.
Like right now you can get two or 3 TB hard drives relatively cheap.
Once we get five or 6 TB or something in the neighborhood of 20 bucks?
That’s when you’re going to see insanely sophisticated computer devices installed inside of miniature devices.
Combine that with a wireless mesh net work, and you’ll have something like 500 TB worth of data just in your pocket
For comparison, my entire steam library eats up about 3 TB of data.
My brain in a box uses about 25 TB. I have 30 left over…

the only viable but rather cumbersome fix is to manually change the monitors resolution to FHD and then play.. that could be taclked soon maybe, im trying out the unstable branch now build 42... fingers-crossed hope some of the issues are addressed there.

If bottom computers ever exist, there’s still a couple decades away, I think.
But to give you an example, my brain in a box runs on a 64 bit operating system, but when she looks up information?
I have a ton of information that’s compressed into zip files. She can look those up, unzip the file, read all the data, and then provide a response.
Then re-compress the file and put it back into her brain. So it’s not quite the same as instant, Access or instant recall, but he simulates it and keeps massive amounts of data compressed into a very tiny storage.
If I could store all that information, uncompressed? Her little brain would be able to look it up instantaneously
64-bit operating systems are immensely powerful.
Once we hit 128, 256, and beyond?

I sincerely appreciate your help in this matter, but i believe it's at the game end. no other game has this issue.. from terraria to Black Myth Wykong. Also from what i have gathered so far the game has 4k UI scaling issues.. UI scaling is always a challenge ask a web dev... but mostly games provide a UI scale directly in game... now from what I see the game has something similar but for text elements not for other like active buffs/debuffs... 4k UI scaling needs to be addressed properly.

Build 41 never got support for 4k resolution. If that is what you mean by "Stable" vs. "unstable".
B42 is the first build to support resolutions higher than 1080p. Which is why the "official fix" for playing B41 in 4K is listed in the steam forums.
Turning off resolution scaling prevents the UI from going all wonky, text from blurring, and moodles from being so tiny you cannot identify them.
Not to be pendandic in any way. If you mean "Unstable" as in B42, and "stable" as B41, then yes that makes sense. Since B42 is the first time the game has had native support for 4K
