Interesting because netiher |coordinates nor |coords seems to generate the translated value. It looks like almost none of the pages are using multiple coordinates in infobox, instead they are using {{Building location}} such as in here; https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Burgers, https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Saucy. Perhaps removing all other coordinates 2,3,4,5 argument and only keeping coordinates is the way to go? It could mess up the exceptions though, there might be some of them hidden amongst hundreds of businesses.
Maybe its a bit of "cut the arm" sort of approach. Maybe not.

What's the best way to go about replacing the Crafting system on language pages. The most active is Turkish by @robust latch The only thing that needs to be manually translated is the table headers and anything that doesn't use the same name as the page title (E.g. Recipe ingredients). Should the rest just be moved to the english template until a contributor takes the time to translate it?

They're just there in the infobox in case they're needed/wanted. I don't see the problem with having both though. @naive imp may have more of an opinion on it than me
I think this is fine. I think we had something similar, but for all templates, so didn't work out. The only problem is that people that want to translate it have to do it on the English page and edit the main template. Which could be confusing for translators and potentially unknowingly break it for everyone.
the point of having the translations on a language subpage, was to 1) keep it all together, 2) not have to edit the main template, 3) the doc can be in that language

Personally I've been adding the extra coords 2 3 4 5 etc into infoboxes when I remember, I think we should have both.
As for the coordinates not able to be put in the infobox for translated pages, I'm not sure what could be causing that, except for maybe that the format for translating that specific argument isn't there, which would be quite odd.
Don't see how the additional coordinates could be causing that issue with translatability, but I suppose it's worth at least looking into

yeah, was the same conflict for me. too many zeros bogs down the information and makes the eyes skate over, too few or the stat not being present leaves the possibility for the question "is this even included at all"

Yeah, remove the 0s. In most cases, anything that isn't listed in the item's attributes can be removed.

I added support of outfits to https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Template:Infobox_character/sandbox as I guess we have enough of unique survivors following my additions in https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Survivor#Unique_survivors prompting that change. I also removed the personality as only https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Kate_Smith and https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Bobby_Collins had it filled (not even Bob Smith and Jack Bloggs had it filled), all the others are either not filled at all, or "Unknown" or "''Unknown''" (with italics) and we don't really know how NPCs will work following the addition in build 43 or whenever they will come.
Also, @digital helm can you tell me where does the official artworks and names comes from? The "Jack Bloggs" and "Bobby Collins" specifically.

I was thinking about this recently. I think the Home VHS: should be removed. We had it because of the whol "named as it appears in-game", but I think this is unneeded for this type of item. Same with future newspapers, which I think will be the same, "Newspaper: xyz"
I have no idea where the concept art came from (some uploaded before me). I think I found the Bobby Collins one when just searching PZ back in 2018, but the internet is flooded with PZ content these days, that you'd never find it. Some are used in steam backgrounds too

CORRECTION: I said the fatigue you've gain by the second message is 2%, it's actually just 1%.
If you notice the Anger in the general debugger jumping down by 1% suddenly, it's caused by the "Anger+" mod that changes Anger to be a bit more active. It also changes it to drain faster too compared to vanilla.

I think it would be a good idea to create such project, to give tapes, cds and lore some love. I am unsure if i am up for the task, there are some people out there who are very invested in the lore and more knowledged than i am. Maybe some of them are in the wiki. I am interested with VHS tapes and CD's these days. At the very least i would be a contributor to such project though. In summary, if anyoneelse wants to take the lead, they should, if not then i could try.

The ideal end goal is me getting into it 😄 But yeah, adding at least the sane amount of missing tiles. Probably not going over extreme like adding 1x version of times, all angles or adding all the flat tiles and walls (just some basic floors that can be picked) or flora.

Add missing parameters for tiles (ID, thumpable, storage types (it's in comments), half-tile, can be gone through, hanging etc.).
There's a nice dbug option to allow to see it visually; I think the half-tile means it donesn't block vision but also I think is a requirement so you can crouch-walk on them when entering through window or similar

dying out of malutrition, that can technically happen though I never experienced so, seems more sane IMO. Would be nice if the character could really feel the malnutrition effects, like after eating cabbages all year round

long-time technical writer first time wiki editor. Quick question, and sorry if I'm missing something obvious or this is answered somewhere and I just didn't see it, but how do I create (or request to create) an entirely new page?
I ask because I just got the Discord integration up and working, and it took a bit of conflating multiple documentation sources and my own technical knowhow, so I wanted to take some time to write a dedicated article that is a Discord Integration overview and setup guide.
Unless y'all think this should be part of the "Discord" article, but that article explains what Discord is and talks about this server, whereas the Discord Integration is a feature of the Zomboid server, so to my eye they're separate if somewhat related topics.
Ope, sorry, answered my own question. I was looking at "Rules" totally missed that there was a whole-ass "Editing help" section of the wiki with a "Starting a new page" article.

Made a mistake when installing that meant I had to rotate the DB password if you noted a glitch, and the install instructions were wrong. Also, it's a pain because it's downloaded separately from the other extensions so i'm potentially gonna have to keep an eye on it directly. Have a play and let me know if you wanna keep it or not

I think it's a big upgrade for users, for example it has real time light and dark mode even for unregistered users. I think the goal is for citizen to be default once enough testing is done.

yeah, for standard distributions, it's more of a roomdef thing than the container itself.
probabilities is really hard to maintain for normal distirbutions, since it's a weight, so each new item will change the probability

Sometimes i find myself confused when i see the directions specified in some articles. The way i am understanding directions is basically can be determined with movement: W is north, A is west, S is south, and D is east. WD is northeast. And so on.
But then there is this sentence which to my understanding is wrong: "The Rosewood restaurant is next to Spiffo's on the way into Rosewood from the main highway heading East-West."
Because that highway to my knowledge is on the northwest and southeast line.
So i wanted to double check with you guys and verify this before i go rogue on these articles, changing directions.

Yeah but Isometric and interior views are different. Plus a bigger image is better for showing interior details. It's a lot easier to make out he actual interior of the building in gallery since the image is a lot bigger.
If people are looking at interior images it's because they want to know what rooms are where etc.

Articles without one default to /en so it shows the correct footer, but templates and other namespaces don't so they have the Footer not translated line. Would we prefer to just leave this or just switch default to the basic english footer? @digital helm @languid kayak

Logo closeups should be deleted as they're redundant and serve no purpose usually. Unless the strip mall is crazy big then I decide case by case whether to include the whole strip mall or just the logo closeup. This is especially prevalent in Louisville which is why we have so many cleanups to do
