Game design wise, Mcjankeey and and swiftbroom are very similar. Swiftbroom is just more horizontal upwards compared to mcjankeey which is more downwards. Mcjankeey also has a lot of ways to hide from enemies and very good doors, not saying swiftbroom is bad, the maps of repo are pretty balanced.

To me, Mcjankeey has the worst item pool and becomes an annoying maze to navigate quite easily, especially when in later levels there's a room that spawns that has no floor and it's just the ducts.
That and it's an eyesore with easily being one of the darkest place out of all maps

I'd argue that swiftbroom is definitely 2nd most neutral map, it's fairly open with some pretty interesting items compared to station which is by far the most neutral, having infrequent open areas and a pretty normal item pool. Compared to manor and museum which are yin and yang in almost every way possible. They where even created in opposite points in development.
