Locks intercept has lots of counterplay but its good for stopping full court lucky bounces or bullet passes esp in comp, and the ult is so mind numbing. Free 4p

Star, star leap has more range than snatch block AND lingers in the air to catch ball, and dash is great for lose balls or making fast breaks down court for a phantom or jp to pass to.

Sniper, once someone knows your a sniper your being guarded 24/7 if you try to step into 2p to qr, youre getting blocked, if you try to perfect arc youre getting blocked. Only full court is good

QR has a chance if you catch someone off guard but even then its pretty readable.

style isn't weak at all, it's just dashes are so oppressive that sniper will never have any niche in this meta

why run sniper when you can run gambler or copycat and teleport across the map

why play phantom when pump fake passes exist at all

why play playmaker when perfection/flash exist

they keep adding these power-creep brain off instawin buttons that don't have reasonable counterplay when sniper requires communication and the opponents to make a mistake (not cover their sniper)

hopefully the balance patch with ranked tunes down the ease of use or actionability out of dashes because christ are they just uncounterable

Copycat can steal one of snipers moves, then play based on which one it steals.

perfect arc? Dribble through someone into open space with Copycat's insane dribble move. Shoot and score easy. Makes up for snipers weakness of no mobility

quick release? Dribble through them into the 2 pt area and shoot it instantly, pretty much undefendable

Awaken? Steal full court- easily one of the best awk move in the game

Basically copycat can use sniper better than sniper itself...
This makes sniper a good pair for a copycat teammate in 3v3s though! Its not completely dead. Keep fighting
