#Yugioh Lore Discussion

This is the only thing resembling an eye
Her being half Fused with Dreaith would've gone crazy and fit Dracoverlord and Amorphages. And it could've been peak.
Missed opportunity.
so accurate to yugioh lore
Oh ye, she has the Master/Lector Pend's P in her name now. Did the OG one have it?
Hmmmmmm.
This has only been used for Master/Lector's various form and most of the field spells involving him.
The P is for 'phage
So, maybe Vector is possessing her, or some kinda combination like the original ED Dracoslayers.
P: potentially
Somehow Vector returned is not what I expected Draco LORE to go.
Luster Pendulum forgot his mindfulness exercises
She looks like she got amorphage.. look at eyes in the wrong place
nah those are just goggles, you can see her real eyes where you'd expect them to be
I mentioned the stomach eye, smh.
I meant the belly eye
her belly is covered by text though? I didn't look too closely at the cosplay though
Reading the next half of the Spellcaster LORE manga since I stopped just before the new arc dropped.
Did they really zoom past Crowley's entire Aleister phase?
Like no explanation on how spunky generic Shonen protag became a mad scientist type or how Verre became a child.
They skipped past Endy's brother fued too??
I was right in them retconning Endy's initial motivation for the attack on Spellbook Tower to be more benevolent.
Bro summoned 3 Defender the Magical Warriors against his kid.
Anyway, this chapter disproves my theory on his son being Magister since the hair color/length doesn't seem to match.
Also makes Servant of Endy's position in the timeline weird.
Like when in her spywork as a maid did she evolve to that stage alongside Pendymion and Artemis Pend form etc.
We'll see how it goes in the next chapters.
I know you can only turn yourself into a rainbow-coloured piglet, Lady Verre, so now you can go look for him!

Verre uses a Spell Counter to turn back normal?

So, her being a kid is some kinda mana exhaustion/curse or smthg?
First good LORE answer from the whole of OCG Stories. Holy fuck.

Lmao, so in her normal form she is an eternal kid? xd
She was just filled with mana all the time?
Idk, from my understanding, some shit happened during the timeskip that made her into a kid. She seems to get tuckered out if she uses too much mana too. I think it could be a curse or maybe some side effect of smthg that happened during the timeskip and it caused her body to regress to reduce mana consumption, maybe, is my theory for now.
Maybe they'll explain the time skip via flashbacks as the arc goes on. 🙏
Prob another monster design we won't get in card form. Similar to the dragon monster or whatever Aleister faced just before the timeskip.
In any case, currently only major character without a card is Endymion's son Regulus.
~~Unless it is Magister.
~~
We're probably getting Aposso (Apostle? I dunno) as a card too I bet
Which one is Aposso again?
Oh ye, that evil ancient dragon Crowley faced off could be an Invoked card.
Maybe his mother/Chorozo's Angewoman form could be a mon too.
Except we already have the dragon, it's the new <first of the dragons>
I remember theorizing it could be, before we got the new Fusion.
Just assume that the one off monsters to just be generic
Not saying it won't get an invoked form... but rn it's already a thing
Even if not summonable in that deck
Ok, it deffo is the new Fusion, looking side by side.
So, we're just missing Aleister's mom as a card, I think.
Anyway, do you know which mon Ducky was referring to?
No idea
Weren't the only mom's that appeared in the manga aleister's and verre's@lean surge
Dang First of the Dragons got retrained? Or it is alt art?
Retrain [First of the Dragonlords]@halcyon crane
DARK •
Level: 11
[ Dragon / Fusion / Effect ]
ATK 3700 / DEF 3000
3 Normal Monsters
Must be Fusion Summoned. You can only control 1 "First of the Dragonlords". Cannot be destroyed by battle, and is unaffected by other monsters' effects. Once, while face-up on the field, when a Spell/Trap Card or effect is activated (Quick Effect): You can destroy all Spells and Traps on the field. You can only use this effect of "First of the Dragonlords" once per turn.
I see owo
3 mats this time huh
I forgor that card is more than 1 decade old, so it gotten retrain do makes sense
I mean just cuz of primite
Any thoughts on the timeline of these two cards.
The Trib cards were clearly at the same time as the Link 5, tail end of the war.
The Red head being present here, might indicate this was just before she turned into the Level 4 Ritual, by being possessed by the spirit of Quem and the other Saints.
I don't think Fleur is post war.
Maybe this is pre them getting to Icejade?
And this corruption of her 4 Stigmatas and and covered in Branded holes (reminds me of whatever Ashiyan had pulled on Ecclesia before she fainited and Albaz became Brigand), is what fucked her up before the three of them were found by the SwoSo and then healed by the Icejades. Not sure what's the deal with the Chains is tho.
The church probably chained her up to prevent her from escaping while the Brands were being activated
She has bystial blur gems on the chains.
I think it's right before this
Also look at the thorny marks on her body
I was thinking those chains were familiar.
Thought it might be similar to the newer Unchaineds, but they obv have no connection.
Forgot Bystials have those chains too.
She has those marks in Icejade cradle.
But I do agree, this is prob post Bysts.
Tho, wait.
Hmmmmmmmm.
These double drops tend to be around the same time for LORE stuff. See how Trib Link and Spell are at the same time.
she still has the armor and the stigmata, it has to be pre-icejade
So, if its Redhead being turned into the Rit 4, then this would align with my original hypothesis of this being before they encounter the SwoSo.
So, Ashiyan or maybe even Maximus used this shit on her 4 Stigmata and she resisted the corruption and escaped with Theo and Adin's help.
"Muwahahaha taste the purple diagonal"
ecclesia got kidnapped she wouldn't sit around
she would have tried to go rescue her, and having your broken-ass 4 stigmata knight run off chasing terrorists right when you're about to unleash the powers of darkness would be annoying so they tried to keep her in the city
she leaves anyways

The Yugioh Fandom Wikia has long since been abandoned in favor of Yugipedia. We recommend installing this extension in your browser of choice

For a less cluttered and more up to date wiki
this channel is more about like pre-existing lore. Fanfic stuff would be more #1023275848301805709
also I didn't even know this card existed
Um okay.
@foggy lotus chapter is out
Rip dragon horn hunter

I hope she gets cured this shouldn't be the end of her journey
It's the eternal cycle that sustains the dragontaint. 😭
I hope one of the survivors breaks it and frees her.
They did mention survivors gathered from the many towns she's destroyed to fight her, so there's a chance? 😉
I hope we can get an archetype based off of it.
It can be called Dracoblessed
You can Normal/Special Summon Dracoblessed monsters by revealing them in your hand..
Each Dracoblessed monster can summon either each other from the hand (while the main one summon from the deck), and a Normal Warrior or Dragon Monster with 2300 ATK (Dragon Horn Hunter monster cards).
They also choose to Summon the Dragon Horn Hunter cards by tributing your opponent's monsters and placing your Dragon Horn Hunter cards on your opponents field with 0 ATK/0 DEF
Each Dracoblessed monster can buff and support each other, the 2300 Normal monsters, and Dragon Blessed Warrior Amala with all their effects stacking onto the Dragon Horn Hunter cards on your field.
They can debuff any Dragon Horn Hunter/Dragon Blessed Warrior Amala cards on your opponents field
If there are at least 3 different Dracoblessed monster cards or 2 Dragon Horn Hunter monster cards, you can Special Summon the Dragon Blessed Warrior Amala.
Its effect would be that its considered a Normal Monster, unaffected by card effects except Dracoblessed cards.
She gain 500 for every Dracoblessed and/or Normal Monster with 2300 ATK on the field, GY, and/or banished.

magistus chapter is out
thank you
Where is White Albaz from, btw?
Black Ecclesia is obv, her riding md Albion on the way to SwoSo mountain.
Maybe this is him post White Albion, guess fusing with Ecclesia made him grow him hair out/his drip becomes White. (More importantly his fusion gem is back, tho we always knew that happened here.)
Prob one of the few cards that I like/feels justified as being "Always treated as X".
Finding this was a bit hard.
Anyway from Image 2, Albaz clearly has shorter hair. So, the after White Albion part is prob wrong.
Unless they just retconned this small section of Concept art info.
It's probably further into the future or before the entire story, no?
Much further into the Future feels unlikely since they're prob saving that bit for whenever Part 2 starts + He's back to his old clothes (barring the color scheme).
Before he comes out the hole also doesn't make sense to me + we've never seen anything inside the portals or where he is from before.
We haven't but it'd make the most sense
Since he and aluber were two halves of the same power.
Realized we can tell if its before/after his fall from the portal from his eye. Tho, I can't quite tell on this art. Going to have to wait till the HQ drops.
Damn, I love this art so much.
Every other pair of support dropped this set and the last happened around the same time.
We had Dogma get semi-corrupted Fleur just before or after she escaped from Despia country and Red head about to become White Relic.
Tribs were way after getting weapons infused from Spright energy or smthg.
This set we got those Trib Springan Kitt and new Springan Xyz that also seem from that time.
This pair is deffo from much different times, since Black Albion is from a weird spot of the story where Albaz is just stuck like that for a while.

Sadly, I can see SwoSo/Icejade not getting anything since the anime ends before they get there. Next Episode is shenanigens with Kitt. My guess for the last episode is the fight with the big Snek and/or shit in the Dogma country getting Despiaed w/ the Episode named Aluber.
Frankly, I don't even see them have time for Fleur's return as Iris/Ecclesia getting Red Albion calmed down to Black Albion, which would have been cool to see animated/a good point to stop for now.

They skipped posting the HQ art of new Albaz.
Same with Ecclesia, but atleast we got a mat art. Just wish we got a clear shot of his eyes.
New observation regarding his eyes.
I thought he always had Gold eyes, but I was misremembering his regenerated eye being Gold in his alt art.
His eyes are usually red.
So, the Golden eye in new Albaz is truly an anomaly, since his right eye was never gold.
Yeah I always familiar with his red eye first
Maybe, it was lingering aftereffect that both his eyes became gold when he detransformed from White Albion that wore off, on his regular eye? Same could be said with his longer hair.
Also, I was thinking super hard on where I've seen the wind effects on the new cards since they looked so familiar, and I couldn't find it on the other Branded cards.
I realized that it's the same effect as these alt arts, that I missed looking at.
Genuienly so hard to place. Only logical place imo, is right after detransforming from White Albion and that he became more White/long haired/double golden eyed for a moment just to aurafarm.
Could be before the story starts but that also feels wrong, since we never got anything on how/what the portal world looks like.
Wait, Albaz's fusion gem is missing in his post story mode.
So, that's another point against that.
Hmmmmmmm.
Maybe this was a temp state, where this is the human form of White Albion before Albaz and Ecclesia split properly, so he regained his 4 gems? Idk, seems unlikely + straying far away from the notion that Albaz and Ecclesia split mid air and descended from the reference art, even if I think Konami wouldn't be beholden to that.
Things to notice.... she's wearing an ethereal bridal gown...
The most Digimon dress code to ever digimon
It gets better.... Elvennotes make latex clothing
why are the flowers so photorealistic looking
oh lmao

The god damn spike nipples lol. Of course she has that. They're farming hard for LARTs at this rate lol.
This is almost as S&M-coded as Mist Valley Shaman.

Kinda hard to tell but it doesn't look like he has a scar on the other eye. I want to say this disqualifies it from being post White Albion but it could still be a temp state like his gold eye & long hair/fusion orbs returning.
what shampoo do you think he uses
Look again, he has it
So the new tcg archetype is def gonna have crossover with Dinomorphia right
Been a while since I did a stats post.
New Maid Verre has half the level/atk/def as her Witchcrafter Madame self.
The 2300 boost is a bit odd, but it gets her to 2800 ATK to match the def her Madame and Xyz forms have.

Rereading the Magistus manga again.
The start of Zoroa and the others finding out about the location of the Theurgy hole is just so random. A random merchant just sells Verre a space rock and that just has the location embedded into it.
This voice thing went unresolved.
Also, while technically possible, since Zoroa absorbed Vahram after their fight (and Vahram is trying to corrupt him into using his power more to take control of him later), we never actually see Zoroa as his Synchro form.
He goes straight to his Fusion form, whose card name is actually an even more powered up that is basically a huge lava version of himself, but nothing like the Synchro ever happens.
With the latest bit about Rogue of Endymion knowing about Emba, I posit this might be him since he's the only directly linked to Endy char from that portion of the story, tho there's 2 issues with that. One it's been 100 years and two the hair color doesn't seem to be blonde.
How did Aleister's adoptive grandpa even figure out his name was Crowley?

Also noticed something the translation didn't pick up, while the dragon sidequest bit has the summoner keep calling it as just Ancient Dragon, that actually does match up with First of the Dragons' jp name being Ancient Dragon Wyrm. (Wyrm here is being used as a name and not the actual word/species wyrm).
Still need Crowley's mom Hanna as a card, even if it's her/Chorozo's beeg form.
Considering they just got their awakened forms (noticable by Endy's back spike of his robe and Verre's hat and stuff), where does a[Magistus Theurgy] even happen?
Similarly Trismagistus doesn't quite make sense, esp. considering both of these are later referenced in the creation of Golem Aruru by the Witchcrafters.
Atleast Tris has some cope of maybe it being a record of this battle, and not a specific magic experiment or event or thing they were doing.
Also, the entirety of this arc happened in a week.
Shame they used up the name/card. Would have loved this version instead of another angle of shirtless Zoroa for his fusion card.
Extremely different vibe to a[Alpha Summon] showing the same event. Endy/Rilliona weren't on the floor and were actively giving energy to Crowley.
On that note tho, where does Xyz Verre even fit in the story?
This was retconned in the latest chapter, right?
Like in the new one, Aleister still has his physical form, and after being sealed there, his power kept leaking and more spellcasters gathered around the place for power/research and then made the Spellbook Tower around it.
Oh ye, this Chapter also gave me a mini heart attack when it said Endy overthrew his little brother who had became a tyrant and was worried they retconned/whitewashed that the Endy in the first Spellbook war (who was described as a Tyrant Emperor) was actually the little brother and the Pendulum one was the Magistus one or smthg, but we later see them mention he fought the war 10 years ago (and he has been king for a 1006 years already).
Shavan the Seer of Endymion, also likely a card we might get.
Our collaboritive efforts have been slow, wonder if the time we tried to invade them a decade ago has something to do with it.

Kinda wack that Verre gets the card Maid of Endymion, when she has been there for one day, while Genni gets nothing even tho, she's has been spying as a maid for a year.
Oh wait, Rogue has been alive since a 100 years ago.
He says he wears a mask because of a scar + he's listed as a retainer of Endy/Captain of the special forces.
With the latest chapter showing signs that he is a more prominent char/knew Emba and there is a reason he doesn't show his face, maybe they'll do a dramatic reveal, but I genuienly can't figure out what they are gonna do with that, besides another OC.
The number of OCs is reaching Striker level, but atleast it doesn't seem as indulgent or unnecessary as Striker did.
There's like Crowley's grandpa, Chorozo and his mom, Endy's brother (offscreen) and his aide (who the brother had initially sent as an assassin), Emba, Spoon, and in current era, there's Regulus and Seede.
If she foresaw, why did she even let it get this far?
Is the Endy rizz that irresistable or smthg. Also, again Rogue being prominent for some reason.
He has blonde hair too, maybe he's related to Artemis somehow. Tho, it doesn't seem to be like another son they had before Regulus thing.
Completely forgot about Aposso and the resistance.
Oh ye, the potrait in a[witchcrater patronus]
Has been replaced with one of Verre and Emba.
Also, the whole You must think women are only good for maids thing is so out of left field.
Regulus knows one of three legendary Magistus was a woman + his mother a goddess, why would he even think of them as inferior. The only thing they ever established was him feeling superior to others because he is the prince.
New Regulus form before his basic ass mode got its monster form.

And ye, the Aleister's story clearly was changed. And another dose of Rogue being important, even saying he has fond memories of Emba.
We’re getting the new genni
Don't we all
https://www.bilibili.com/opus/1147770056450506761 @foggy lotus
Oh fuck it's that time of the month already
what a cute little scrimblo. i hope nothing tragic happens to him
I hope he gets into a homoerotic friendship with a knight

His jaw doesn't seem to be all that big compared to his OG artwork. Kinda sadge. 😭
Oh true, that's like iconic part about his face
Everyone be calling him green Agumon because that lack of jaw
I am surprised Red Dragon Archfiend still getting support but Stardust kinda left in the dust
The charmers have a little pouch to put their staff behind their backs? That's a pretty neat detail. 👀
It reminds me of those school backpacks way back in the day that have a small flap hole that lets you put your earphones' wires into your MP3 player inside your backpack to listen to songs.
Could someone post the Spellcaster LORE poster here. I can't rn.
Anyway, wanted to talk about it having regular Aleister not his Crowley costume on the cover but also most likely Fusion Zoroa.
Wonder if this means it'll deviate from the manga.
It is extremely unlike to be an adaptation of the manga cuz of time constraints but I wonder if it'll have conflicting LORE.
Similar to how anime Striker is closer to the card LORE than it was to the manga.
Probably, just like every anime/Manga post dm
While I can understand post DM manga deviates alot from anime counterpart, it can get confusing fast when card lore is involved
Because they are already sparse on detail
tbh it can get confusing even in non card lore section, reminding someone that Yuzu is only Yuya mother in the manga is like reminding someone that Spider-Man only has radioactive cum in that one book
Just noticed Verre is in her child form, so the poster cannot fit anywhere chronologically.
So, it might just be them at.... I want to say most iconic form, but either of Endy's pointy hatted forms is prob more iconic than his pre timeskip self, but this one has his face, I guess.
Alright, I'm gonna be honest. I'm not really sure I believe Wynn is really Winda's sister, despite the Master Guide saying so. They seem so completely disconnected that they might as well be from different worlds. Some guy making the Master Guides probably thought they were because of their similar designs from the original artist of them that he thought they were related, and made up an excuse of why they're not together.
Yeah honestly I'm still iffy about that
It's prolly more accurate that Winda & Ariel are really just the artist depiction of Wynn & Eria if they are in DT world
Eh it's canon, but let's be honest. Charmer lore sucks ass
They refuse to even acknowledge a third of the charmers
Giving them a mini series is frustrating because it doesn't fucking do shit
There's no lore to adapt
And they're not actually willing to expand on anything interesting
Like why Wynn left
If the Charmers were more like interdimensional runaways that'd be a little bit more interesting than the weird position they're in lorewise
Like do Aussa & Hiita or anyone related to them show up anywhere outside of charmer lore?
Honestly, I'm fine with them having a little adventure in their bubble. Don't need some crazy lore implications for these girls.
I'll even raise that maybe the Gigobyte here having a smaller underbite indicates he's not the same Gigobyte from the original Gaggagigo storyline.
And will probably live happily with Eria as her familiar until the end.
I don't mean in the sense that there's some grand plan involving them
Dharc was the slave of goblin of greed, who exists in the same universe where Duel Terminal is a media property
Well, "slave"
Lyna and Dharc were both imprisoned
There's a card art with Dharc & GoG
Yooo a wattgun?
Is this the artwork? Where's Dharc?

I wish they mentioned that in GoG's Solo Mode story yesterday lol.
Weird effect though. Nothing to do with drawing cards, unless it's implying the opposite, just taking your cards back.
Yeah it's such a weird card for Dharc to just randomly show up in
Did we ever get Angry Lover as an actual card?
I can only find Vanquish Soul Dr. Mad Love from Google results.
Can't find this "Angry Lover" anywhere. 🙁
a[dark spirit art]
You can see the Pot of Greed in the background, so that explains the draw 2 bit.
Looking at the chains in this, what I think is the most likely is that this is where Dharc (and Lyna were confined) before he escaped as seen as in that anime only card.
Tho, that one not having Lyna is weird.
I always assumed Dharc was tied to her, hence both their chains and even the glow eff connecting the two in their familiar possessed/Link forms.
His other hand tied to some structure; that he had to cut off for their freedom, hence it is always hidden in all his arts.
Using dark magic to get some moolah. Kinda funny on retrospect when it can be used for so much more.
Tbh, I really can't see Goblin of Greed being the one who locked Dharc and Lyna up. He's way too incompetent, especially after the bubble crash.
He might just be one of Dharc's clients after he got out, and he's just doing this Dark Spirit Art thing as a service for people...for some reason. To get food to survive?
I can't quite tell because of the image quality but his clothes don't see to be in tatters, so this is before the crash and when he was still in his rich bastard phase.
a[upstart goblin]
Tho, he doesn't have his regal outfit either.
No, the upstart goblin outfit is purple. The one in the shuffle art is the red outfit, when he became broke.
His hat has its fabric ripped on the left side, showing the white cotton
I still think the weirdest inclusion is how friggin Blackwing encounter Naturia
It would make sense if it was Mist Valley character, or heck, Fabled Raven
Yeah, that is just wild.
Maybe we can believe that this card is not from the Duel Terminal world, but a simple game amongst duelists summoning them since there's no real background behind them lmao.

Also the ironic thing is this card wont resolve if Barkion is on the field
Unless they somehow has less than 2 cards in GY, by that moment I'll have to ask, just how many traps the BW user runs?
I wanna say there are Blackwing cards that show up in The Big Cattle Drive
And the Ojamas of course, who exist in the same world as the Six Samurai
I mean
Most cards have lore
We even got the continuation of the gagagigo lore :x
Yeh but this seems to be leading to something
Like why is the dude like an Anti-Hero of the clown national or some shit
The implication seems to be their ring leader of the assumedly travelling circus saved her and she is now being taken care of by the troupe
Surprisingly not an uncommon trope
I wonder more about the evil clowns
The despia looking dudes on the trap getting blasted
They look more like gnomes
Was about to correct myself there yeah
I'm pretty sure I know what card the thin guy is though
Let me see if I can find it
It's the guy with a crescent moon looking face iirc
Damnit I don't remember the name
I don't think they are existing monsters
Someone more astute can probably find them
Maybe
It's really difficult to tell
Also
A lot of these things technically lead to something
Sky striker, fiendsmith, the gagagigo lore
All technically lead to "something"
(or like labrynth which has that one card teasing 2 new monsters, one of which we still haven't gotten)
87% chance new girl is the Pendulum we get next set.
Or a link
Current mons levels/ranks are 1 3 5 6 7, so we are either missing a Link 2 and Level 4 Pend, or a Link 4 and a Level 2 Pend. I'm thinking it's more likely the former because free Link 4 you can summon off the S/T sounds crazy even with the lock.
That's the 13% left.

It is kinda funny to have a deck with a synchro but no tuners.
Obv, you are never meant to summon any of them with their mechanic.
Yeh but keep in mind that they almost have no effect on field and their stats are like shit
And I's there any good 2 material link 5s anyway
Technically they made sure that the synchro and xyz are summon able with the same materials
We probably getting a main deck version of each devil(s)
With one being a tuner
That breaks the gimmick tho.

Then again, the PUNK gimmick was also ignored for good card reasons.
Or Solfa.
Prob more if I think on it.
Looks at subterror dropping the 1 monster per type thing
I don't like the Fusion's mats being Mudragon tho, since if we ever do get a Fusion summon eff, the only non-BW warrior is the big guy and why would you ever want to fuse him away.
Then again SPoly, then Tribute to shuffle away rest of the Fusions is funny, tho that Rivals and Protag sets gave us like 3 better SPoly targets anyway.
I assume their fusion spell is gonna be the first fusion/effect to tribute...but also maybe super poly too
Speaking of the big guy being a diff type.
He is another Illusion with an Eye aesthetic.
The girl also seems to be a different type
Can't tell if Rock or Dragon
Just like Diabelleze being completely unrelated or LORE doesn't stop you from being Eye-spyed.
She's like a green gem dragon elf
All the crew members felt more Fiend than BW, so it could still be that.
Look again, they are all furry chimeras
Fusion and Xyz, I get.
But Ritual and Synchro are a bit stretching it for a bit of fur.
The synchro is literally like a cartoon lion guy
And the fairy has like a whole ass wolf ears with eyes
I know.
They are still more Fiend like than BW.
A diff type mon that is a Tuner and has a Fusion summon eff, and can turn both itself and another mon into Level 3s is one way it can make all the current ED guys + a potential Link 2, which seems uber convoluted for a Level 4 Pend + It makes more sense to be more Tribute summon fodder/support rather than trying to justify making the ED cards the "correct" way instead of using the 10 other ways to cheat them.

Similar to the Rit, it might not have the first eff be an on field support Tribute Summoned guy eff + I could see its second bracketed eff that isn't the shuffle all pends one to be to Scale itself, then have another Tribute support eff on scale.
This reminds me.
Amazement references a bunch of archetypes including these two and like Nephthys, F.A., Plunder, Ghostrick, etc.
Not sure if that is enough for all of those meta referenced archetypes to be in the same LORE, esp. since Plunder and Ghostrick show up nowhere else/connected to anything else.
I'm not familiar with the lore of Amazement, what's their deal?
This is off the top of my head, so check the VBEXs to be sure.
But, the Amazement park is super popular and bustling.
You need a special ticket to get in, and I think there's an art of the Unlucky Goblin kid getting Toilet Paper while some other Goblin Kid wins a ticket as a prize for one of those spin gachas.
They have a reverse A motif, and the workers after Arlechino's name start with B C D. B is a bipeddal bear mascot.
C and Delia are androids and the park attendants, I think.
All the rides are based on diff archetypes/monsters. (Tho, the Nephthys one is based on just the original and not the Blue/Ritual stuff).
Another bit about whoever sees evil Arlekino cannot leave the park.
That is the official written stuff. Now time for my usual rant.
Contrary to the VBEX statement, all the arts do not feature any guests and Arlechino is the only rider in all of them, couple exceptions like the Ghostrick one where he's acting as a ghost for the haunted mansion instead of as a guest.
My original theory was that this was some Psychic kid's delusion who made his dream of running/living in a amusement park come truw. Hence his Psychic typing, the mascot is a standard mascot come to life, and the attendants being robots.
Until the VBEX shat on all of this. Reminds me of how the VBEX says Live Twins are unpopular and people find them tacky or tryhard, except all the card arts feel like they depict them to be super popular, hence Sunny knocking them down to 2nd place a thing.
There's also the Amazement Trap that isn't an Attraction, which is a gift shop with some having sinister eyes could indicate some more evil going on maybe body snatching? Completely unaddressed in the VBEX post.
Is VBEX a Master Guide equivalent?
Master Guide got new name?
yeah
@devout hearth no.
Master guide is different
Master guide is when there is a big master rule change
Be it a mechanic or something
VBEX are yearly and just kinda cover the full year
Master Guide used to be once every 3 years
But since Konami stopped doing new Mechanics, they added the lore to VBEX instead
Seems like a pedantic distinction given the context is lore
Still 2 very differently products
The distinction of which doesn't matter for the discussion at hand.
Did you read their question tho
They asked if master guide got a new name and it did not
Since we used to get both a VB and and an MG in the same year and the same time
Does it fucking matter
Never seen someone so rude trying to make a non-issue into a big deal when I'm just explaining that "the name has not changed" "it's 2 different books"
Nobody cares
Why are u even replying to me then
I was talking to raydhen anyways
Like just block me if you dislike what I have to say so much
Nothing like Konami-canon being provably wrong
My initial thoughts when you were describing it was some kind of interdimensional travelling circus
But that doesn't gel with rides particularly
@mental elk lore channel
The thing that convinced me Arlekino isn't delusional and these likely are all in the same continuity was actually a lil guy
This lil guy appears on both Ojama Country and Wonder Wheel, and that implies some kind of shared wildlife between the Ojamas and the Amazement region.
I think Arlekino is just profiting off cultural appropriation.
Don't see how they contradicts the delulu thing, if a powerful Psychic makes an entire park and runs it and the mascot/assistants, making a snake to fit the ride environment doesn't seem too out there.
It's disproved by the VBEX anyway.
This can be solved by saying that maybe the snake in the ride art is just a prop.

In all seriousness tho, Arlekino connecting to regular base Yugioh world with the Unlucky Goblin kid, prob connects him to Ojamas via the Beast cards unless I'm mistaken.
Tho, Ojamas also have wilder connections of dubious legitimacy (not counting the forced Armed Dragon XYZ stuff via the Chazz cards) since they have some cards connecting to Trickstar and Performapal.
a[nitwit outwit]
Hmmmmm, they are connected to Six Sam too. But Six Sam being part of baseYugiohworld sounds wrong. Could someone support or disprove them being so.
Pretty sure the whole Treaty thing is with Shien
Treaty?
Oh wait nm, that's their League thing
But also, I don't see why the Six Sams wouldn't be part of base world. They've got goofy lil guys like the foot soldiers that mesh well with Ojama and Treasure Panda type creatures.
And the Ojamas are at least canon to much more "serious" looking creatures like the Harpies.
I'm not talking about tone.
I'm asking if they have any other connections to the baseYugiohworld (think Gagagigo/D.D.s/Goblin of Greed etc).
Since White Ninja appears with Shien on one card and we can tie him to Armed Dragon very quickly, I'm p sure it all knots together.
Draconnection shows White Ninja in his "White Dragon Ninja" form with Armed Dragon
Yeah Blind Spot Strike is the card where White Ninja and Shien appear together
I'm like 80% convinced the UA/FA stuff exists near I:P, S:P, and the Live Twins.
One of the F.A. cars appears as a toy in one of those Unlucky Goblin kid arts.
Ojamas > Performapal > Dream Clown > Tyrant OR Pot of Greed
Yep already grabbed it I'll do it later tonight
Caught up with the new chapter.
Felt the bloat getting beyond Striker level when we got 3 new characters. With my recent reread I already had the Aposso plot that got sidelined and now they got this school shooter ass dialogue and a couple different uprising happening.
Atleast, ||they got Aposso back in the plot to resolve it along with this||, but I'm not optimistic with the overall direction with another 2 chars introduced (in additional to the 3 above) + a dumbass backstory with a sister, when we got a dumbass backstory with TWO sisters like last chapter with seede.
RIP, no Wynn flashback to her family or anything for the new Chronicles episode. But you can interpret Wynn looking sad from hearing the word "family" as her remembering the Gusto family she left behind. Though you can also see that as Wynn being sad she has to let go of a new friend.
They really keeping it vague huh
Because they have no idea themselves lol
tbh yeah I feel like nobody even sure about that lore tidbit
True that. Seeing everyone in the comments acting like it was confirmed she mentioned the Gusto family or something by looking sad from hearing the word "family" is crazy lol.
It makes me wonder why it was written in the first place, or if there any intended implication with her supposed relation with DT archetype
Is the one wrote Master Guide that day just slipped headcanon just because it's made by same artist?
feels it made more sense to see Winda & Ariel as the Wynn & Eria of DT universe
I don't think it's them being vague.
Like it was genuienly a nothing episode. And the overall theme has been much the same. I'm like pretty sure they just told the animators just the vague concept of the four do "trails to unlock the door/finish the ritual" or whatever and just told them to wing it. So far, nothing of substance or even real char stuff happened in these episodes.
Everything is on the level of Hitta, you are too hotheaded, control yourself a bit, now the episode is over level stuff.
yeah this show has felt like a whole lot of nothing so far
Guess it is accurate for Charmer, they justs sorta exist
All the Charmer lore are carried by Gagagigo"s back
They will be in episode 5 trust
They will be there in the secret 5th Episode of the 4 Episode arc.
Ye sure man, this was always meant to be a three way conflict.
Why did they show Crowley in his regular form, insteead of atleast a little monsterized, and how he is on the Link 2.
I'm really not getting the vibe of him losing himself to madness or the like from the repeated and/or failed summons/fusions during his Aleister phase.
They did keep to it a while back.
Anyway, looks like we will get to Tpose Tower v Pendymions after this rebellions subplot atleast.
He just instantly turned back to normal one frame after getting sealed, lmao.
Sammich owo
Feels like the artist is channeling Ariel when drawing Eria in this scene
The parted lips will do that to you.
Yep and the dude who typesets it is away for two months so I gotta typeset this too
Fuck me
Another new char?
Plus the two underlings got to flashback status.

Feeling the character bloat rn.
So many new characters who could've been easily existing Spellbook/Endymion chara
Manga just adding all their OCs just to feel unique than the main players lmao?
Expectation: maybe we can finally know what the deal is with Propechy Destroyer, along with Fool storyline
Reality: This is not my beautiful house... This is not my beautiful wife
seriously what's the point of the lore manga if they don't actually want to adapt the lore
why is flood namedropped in the tellar blurb what
RIP. End of Charmer adventure. Shame Aussa's only focus was that she provided recovery potions lmao.
I was hoping to see more of her nerdy shut-in personality that they hinted at in the earlier episodes, but I guess they also had to cram in the "finale" to their spell.
Overall pretty cozy. I was honestly expecting the book to be implied to belong to either Dharc or Lyna in the past or something. Especially when they shown the book pages in the end before Aussa closed it, but nothing was there.
Comment grabbed off Reddit
Long ago, the gods responsible for plunging the world into chaos were sealed away by a party of heroes. These gods were known as the Power Patrons (JP: Imprisoned Deity) and their prison was a spiritual plane called the Power Patron Realm. However, they were eventually forgotten from history as the ages passed, and they took advantage of this by sending their servants (Artmage, DoomZ, and Elfnote Power Patron) to the physical realm. Their followers grew into the three countries of Artmegia, Doomdurg, and Oratorio Garden, starting a proxy war between them.
Medius was actually the descendant of the ancient heroes and he had the gates to the Power Patron Realm sealed within him since birth, though he knew nothing about it. His ability to see potential futures "Theorealize" was supposed to help him keep the Power Patrons sealed, but he made the wrong choices. Finmel was a potential vessel for Nerva, so letting her die would have been the correct decision as gatekeeper. Similarly, letting Graflare die would allow him to avoid contact with Power Patron DoomZ.
After receiving power from the three Power Patrons, the gates within Medius broke open, allowing Nerva, Jupiter, and Junora to take over his body in a twisted fusion. The Power Patrons summoned their armies to conquer the physical realm, so the three countries had little choice but to make a ceasefire and temporary alliance against the new threat. Finmel, Graflare, and Litera took the lead in fighting the Power Patrons, not to save the world, but to save their friend Medius.```
The concept of Medius' future visions being smthg he has to follow for the "good ending" and not dangers he should avert is a super cool concept. Shame, it barely translated when looking at just the arts.
Guess we are doing RUSH duel now.
I noticed I haven't talked about the new WC wave here.
Is it just me or Verre's face not the same as before?
They re-retconned the potrait back to the green haired witch instead of Emba.
Alternatively, it's a Striker situation where the card and manga LORE is different.
Also, after waiting so long on the Verre being MIA since WC Confusion anticipating her showing up at TPose Tower Aleister v Pendymion for 5+ years, we instead got here temp returning to adult form and coming back to WC street and messing around till she gets exhausted and back to normal. So, plotwise nothing happened.
Still we have 2 more cards, maybe we'll get more LORE connected the greater caster war stuff.
On that note, don't remember if I brought this up, but the poster for the anime confuses me so much.
Zoroa necessarily has to be pre timeskip, Endy looks to be the same but Aleister and Verre are post timeskip for some reason. Unless they adapt both pre and post which is a lot, esp. if they wish to cover the first war. Tho, I could see them skip around a lot.
Say, Ep 1 is Zoroa and he and the other Magistus round together to perform Trimagistus.
Ep 2 is Endy do random experiments and getting disturbed by Crowley and Verre, and yelling at them.
Ep 3 cuts to Aleister doing his fusion shit and fucking up to become Caliga, alternatively, instead connect to the new Red girl in the new Aleister wave.
Ep 4 then is the last about Verre fucking about WC street and we see each of the other WCs at their craft ending on say Haine yelling at a sleeping Verre.
Another thing I want to note with regards to the concept of the manga, anime, and cards having diff LORE, jfc is the timeline of what the deal with Genni is.
Let's just take all the info as one for now.
Her becoming Servant has to come last since the Pendymion stuff is during the second war. But the Master Guide lists her as already being Servant before retiring to become WC Genni. Then there's also her as a maid spy and no one seems to know her as Servant.
So, is it Servant -> WC -> Maid, and no one happens to notice her back, and also she was the only Pendymion and for some reason she is unrelated to with the rest of the second War Endy pends group, along with the yet to return Artemis as Reflection of Endy.
Or is it WC -> Maid -> Servant, then the Master Guide is wrong, unless she had a brief stint in the Endy empire before retiring to WC Street and they just used Servant image as a representation of her back which also feels wrong.
Let me check the exact wording.
Seems like the first option and the mask was real good.
Only Verre and her was from Endymion huh
This is more of a personal nitpick, but the card arts of Genni show her as more of a Genki char, which doesn't gel with the manga. Tho, it's prob just them letting the manga writer do their thing. Similarly, I don't expect Anime Aleister pre timeskip to be the same generic Shonen protag he was in the manga.
No, only Genni is.
Verre/WC Bystreet were always in a nearby town.
But in the manga, Genni and then later Verre (timewise, we see them both in the same chapter) infiltrate Endy's palace as maids.
Also, gotta dissect the deal with Aleister.
I always expected him being either a power or knowledge source to Spellbook Tower and is a secret not known to many. Which was the secret impetus to the first war against the Spellbook Tower. All of this message is headcanon, just to be clear.
The MGs/VBEXs did confirm him to be a power source, tho notably, the manga retcons itself when talking of his fate.
Originally, it says his physical body perished, and his soul and invocations went to Spellbook Tower (which was already there) and was then sealed there. Then later on, we see him getting monsterized and caused many disasters, and a lot of casters but notably not Endy manage to stop and seal him, then his magical presense boosted the area and a lot of Casters gathered around the sealed Crowley to build the Spellbook Tower around it.
Some of the big things to watch out for in the anime is if the following chars exist, in order of importance: Spenta, Chorozo, Emba, Rogue, Crowley's grandpa and maybe Chorozo's digimon mom form to see how much it deviates from the manga.
Even if it's 5 min snippets I can't imagine we just pretend main motivation Spoon doesn't exist, unless he is a OC like Aileron and co and never shows up elsewhere.
Gimme a couple, to check on the new Aleister cards.
Checked out the Teaser, and it's deffo post timeskip. Tho, it doesn't look he's power maniac mode and seems to be saving a little girl. Prob gonna use an Invocation to save her then later when no one's looking we're gonna get him being weak or struggling to be in control routine.
Weird thing I noticed is that these "manga LORE" cards come with their own wave. Like it's not like we see Aileron and co, the clones, Spectra etc anywhere except standalone cards or their own wave. Same with the whole Regulus wave, instead of integrating with other releases like the new WC wave or whatever wave we are getting to tie in with the anime, unless that was meant to be the new Aleister wave which I see 0 chance of showing up in the anime.
We still have 2 slots left for WCs, we could totally have Seede as a card here if they wanted to, but it doesn't look like that's happening considering the slots.
On that note, prominent chars we are missing as a card, Crowley's mom/Chorozo digimon form and Witchcrafter Seede. Aposso and Gideon are prominent chars, but they are just dudes for now, maybe if they get powered up magical form, I can see them esp. Gideon warranting one. Rogue already exists, but with his newfound extreme importance and connection with Emba/Verre as well as Endy/Regulus. He's deffo getting a new form or the like for sure in the future maybe in the final battle/conclusion of the current arc.
I very much think like sky striker the manga is its own lore
Idk if you’ve seen the leaks for the aleister ep
but there are characters that we haven’t seen and he’s in his invoker stage
if you saw the release too, the 4 ep had aleister as the first ep
so what that gives me the impression of is that the 1-3 are going to focus on Aleister, Rilliona, and Endymion
All doing their own things
Aleister as ep 1
Rilliona as ep 2
Endymion as ep 3
Then we get a combined episode as ep 4
Either ep 4 is a flashback or it’s the end of the spell caster war with Zoroa (I’m hoping) being unsealed and being the big bad to unite the land
Do we have confirmed lore for Infernoid flood etc?
vbex4 had tw01 lore
vbex5 had nekroz and fabled, no mention of gem or jurrac
vbex6 has tw03 lore which is still untranslated
Ye, it is super incompatible with the card storyline of Alt Kagari -> Alt Linkage.
This is all we have, and no, it doesn't mention Evil and Flood.

Lara's ability to be retconned out remain unmatched
When the omen said "Flood" but you are in FIRE archetype
No shot even the anime is even glorp shitto OCs.
Apparently, he's also named Aleister.
Tho, this could be a case of someone using Aleister's name/infamy to his own end and it not being his literal name.
sigh
this kid didn't read my message...
Damn first time Konami anime introduced OC
Do we count the random ass animals around Wynn, including the turtle?
On that note, this guy being a fake/another Aleister means that if he ever gets a card form, maybe it will be the Bystial Aluber thing where he is treated as "Aleister" which you know is relevant for the fusions and stuff. Could go the always treated as route too, but that doesn't seem likely for a fake.
Could be cool to have a Aleister that is only "Aleister the Invoker" in grave or banish to work with the newer stuff that shuffles back from banish to fuse. (The Link only treats itself as the OG in field/GY).
On that note, the new Aleister calls him by "Aleister" monster instead of by name (to work with the new md but you could just have made him name change instead), so a fake like Aleister the Tyrant but who treats itself as that name in banish feels super feasible.
I thought the turtle was Gora Turtle
Yeah, she kept a baby Gora Turtle before she gave it back to its mum.
Dunno if the mum is just an ancient version of Gora Turtle though. The baby had no markings like the artwork either.
At what age is the original Gora Turtle from the artwork? A teenager?
What's the timeline on Touhoushaddoll Grysta? is it pre-Saqlifice?
What the hell is Exstellarknight Constellar Ptolemy Ω7
a combination of Ptolemy, Vylon Omega, And Constellarknight Diamond
So is Vylon Omega a part of Ptolemy? or did it just fuck off?
Also, does frozen Shek utilise the powers of the Nekroz to weave Devyaty into an armour while being attacked?
That's sick as fuck
there's a guy in tellarcord who translated korean tls of vbex6 to english
apparently ptol senses flood awakening and uses some power to revive pleiades, who then unseals and weaponizes omega
ah so a random sidequest
Also, I'm realising now that the Yang Zing are really fucky timeline-wise
We don't have pre-Zefra versions of Zefraxi & Zefraniu, but they have to have been killed in order to harvest their orbs
Also Unuk is granted the power of his constellation & near immediately gets captured
Does anyone know where to find the translated valuable book ex6 card lore? Or nothing yet?
I am pretty sure someone has the photos of it on teiba or some Chinese forum
But youd have to translate it via an ai agent or something
Do you think Ka(s) were an underutilized concept in the rest of the series post DM
Or Spirits kinda work as a spiritual (hehe) successor to them
I don't even know what ka abbreviates for
Ka were the monsters that manifested from the Egyptian stone tablets
in the original Shadow Games
They worked closer to Pokemon or Demons from the Shin Megami Tensei series, since they were not bound by the rules of the card game
Most of the monsters in the DM era were originally Ka
exodia, the gods, blue-eyes, magicians etc
They also play a role in the GX manga, winged kuriboh and light darkness dragon were Ka
The anime kinda does away with them due to them coming up with the whole Spirit World thing
I'd like to think some particularly important monsters are Kas
The Dragons in both the 5ds anime and manga, and Judai's Neos since they could be summoned with real bodies outside of duels
The Crimson Dragon too due to how powerful it is
@foggy lotus https://www.bilibili.com/opus/1193408954478100528
Once again, this entire mess is Kerykeion's fault
But hey, at least Shaddoll Ariel has done something now
Doesn't seem like it

Note: This article is an unofficial English translation of the official Japanese The Valuable Book EX 4 card storylines. The following information is presented in a format closely mimicking that of The Valuable Book EX 4. The original linguistic conventions have been edited for coherence, but all meanings have been preserved as best as possible.
Duel Terminal?
More like Duel Eternal-ly retconning in new info that totally happened off screen, guys.

They thought they were cooking with deathciple
I mean they kinda were tbh
what the fuck do you mean that Lara got the power of creation and destruction
well congrats Ray she got acknowledged ???

Damn I didn't know Lara was a Dormammu main
no no, she's kamen rider geats ix
why the fuck are the genex evil
My boi Genex Controller be like:
It’s a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
LET THE CARNAGE BEGIN
Like seriously isn't their entire schtick "Peaceful robots forced to pilot death machine?"
I really wonder if there's discrepancy between the lore writer and artist depiction at play
Tbh it makes sense to me, its similar to Lee but not similar enough
yea but the fact she got lore at all is weird

anyway so, what are we expecting frm branded
Did we ever get fleurdelis thunderbolt lore?
my main guess is the dogmatika gang meeting the swordsouls
Only this.
It is after she resists being Despia-ed and just before running off with Theo/Adin.
Also, Gaiapelio, clearly dead/dying... actually just fucks off
Insurmountable enemy? simply surmount them
Also, Grysta never gets to thread anything feelsbadman
"Firmly believing that the disturbance was related to the "Sacred Tree", "Sombre" and "Kerykeion" gave up parts of their power of 'creation' and 'destruction' to each of "Leodrake" and "Roach", powering them up to to protect the "Sacred Tree" and prevent future threats."
Power of Creation & Destruction comes entirely from Leo
I swear if they release new lorebook they would retcon everything again
Something like: "Laval Phlogis is the key to all of this"
LETS FUCKING GO
At the very moment they were about to deliver the final strike to exorcise Asmodeus, none other than Martha herself, whom they had been searching for all that time, emerged from inside the armor. Martha had allowed Asmodeus to possess her, and was testing the current power of the Maidens of Salvation.
They confirmed it was Martha on Returnia.
I'm crying. Finally a twist we can actually guess at, instead of smthg random happened offscreen or is only see in a very contrived context nonsense we get half the time.
Asmodeus being one of the demons theyre fighting?
https://cdn.ygorganization.com/2026/04/returnia.jpg
Exosister Returnia
The Maidens of Salvation are thrown into a fight when demons, taking the form of dragon knights, and their servants appeared out of nowhere. “Why… did such immense power emerge with no warning at all…?”. Without even having time to ponder this, Team “Lilium” is dispatched. Elis, awarded the alias of “The Exorcist Angel” after having exorcised countless demons, faces the powerful demons alongside Stella. The two of them, having exchanged vows, display an even higher power than usual, about to defeat the demon “Asmodeus”.
Wonder if well ever get them as an archetype
That was my initial hope during the original deckbuild.
Similar to how they connected Generaider/Runick or Ursarctic/Drytron.
The werewolf mons on S/T also look super cool.
White Albaz is not a physical moment from the story, but an image Ecclesia and Albaz saw while they were White Albion??????
Fallen of the White Dragon
One of the scenes seen by Albaz and Ecclesia in Albion’s heart. Was it a recollection present since the beginning of the end? Or was it an effigy of the awakened True Flames?
What even was the Maximus' gameplan with banishing Ecclesia and falsely accusing Fleur?
Surely, manioulating them behind the scenes and getting them to somehow perform the 666 Saints Rit would've made more sense than this.
A dragon appears in the holy capital, and the Tri-Brigade commence their onslaught. While Fleurdelis was preoccupied with these, the holy maiden Ecclesia is exiled over a dubious crime. Then, Fleurdelis herself is also shackled under a similarly baseless crime.
To fill them with pain and sadness which was needed and done to the other saints
Our (formerly) coughing baby seems to do fire magic though, or I guess it's just a basic magic she wouldn't develop anymore for rock stuff.
I would've made them read Rent a Girlfriend to make it happen more faster and with less risk.

I never have thought such cruelty is acceptable in a yu gi oh lore discussion
Is there any lore on Melffy
Why does the Mommy have so many children of different species
Is this some twisted Chimera dark fable lore
The lore is that @foggy beacon is a cutie

The lore might be that mommy adopted these animals to fuze or graft them on herself
To ascend to godhood
Finmel lost her physical form as she saves Medius
So basically after the final fight medius would be like Yuta from jjk?
Is eria’s gigobyte the same as gagagigo in his own storyline
Or is it altenrate universe stuff
it isn't really clear but i think it's supposed to be the same guy
Gigobyte intersects with so many random universes
It's a mess
Finally got around to reading Medius LORE and I feel like this is the similar and opposite of DT3, where it's similar the art gives you a whole diff feel and multiple plot threads you could possible never guess or deduce from just the arts.
While it's the opposite in the sense of, instead of being a random pile of scenes that are barely coherent and random shit happening to get to the end, here the actual story is actually pretty good, it was just not adapted well to cards. Like no way, you could guess DoomZ Xyz guy is Dragonguy's brother or the exact deal with Elfnotes or even the existence of a wish granting spirit etc.
Tho, I have one question on why the Spirit after being corrupted by the Power Patron is already looking like Lucina before the absorption is finished.
I guess, it's just a coincidence or maybe this is mid using her as a conduit and gaining similar traits or smthg like that.
Also, more things impossible to guess at like Regina using a fucking teleport spell or even more wildly, DoomZ Xyz guy self destructing just before that, or even wackier he survived that and after the Power Patrons escape from Medius' mental realm (another thing you can't guess at, you'd think it'd be closer to a diff realm and they are trying to manifest in this world at full over being sealed in a mind of a descendant of a hero (another another thing you can't guess at)), anyway said self destruction didn't kill him and after losing the power patron went to the lab to make weapons for the dragonguy and teleport it to him.
I was a bit confused about Non Finito power still remaining in Finnel as implied by the end of these three become major forces of their nations, and while Elfnote girl has power from the spirit and maybe a boost for the other Elfnotes, Dragonguy has his new combined armor tech, Finnel's form came from a midway contract with the Owl, so should be gone after, no?
But that bit was cleared up in the design sheet they released of her saving Medius in the next set, since this VBEX doesn't cover Chaos Origins.
Also, apparently, she's the fucking Link and a new Power Patron too, so her being equal to the other 2 makes sense.
But lmao.
Overall, I do like the actual story and believe me, most of these long form main LORE entries except like Albaz find some way to disappoint me with all the extra shit off screen and weird decisions no one could possible infer and a lot of times less interesting than what people come up with mainly talking about DT3 and WL, but here atleast the it's a good story with interesting tidbits and largely cohesive with no too out there moments, even if barely any of it got adapted to the cards.
Even just the simple premise of Medius was supposed to be guided by and let his visions happen/let his friends die to save the world by stopping the Patrons from choosing suitable successors/vessels is a really great inversion.
Looks backed to my original reaction to the Medius stuff.
I immediately clocked the Big Fusion seems completely unrelated to the events at hand.
Then bent over backwards and had to switch around the chronology a bit, and thought the order of events were Medius gets power from Owl instead of Finnel, Medius the fusion lost, then the owl took his power back along with him and becomes Big fusion to justify the card happening in story since I had no way to know that it was meant to tangentially related (currently) and was in a diff plane of existence.
Actually found some OCG peeps complaing about Stories basically being a diff story to the cards with one even saying he'll never forgive Aileron and the Magi.
Funniest shit is multiple peeps who only vaguely aware or don't know of the manga at all calling Seede as Zundamon.

Greenhair be like
what even are shadolls about
tierra ressurecting dead people as dolls
oh
Some of them are corrupted versions of the living
Construct is Gem Knight Lapis
Grysta is Gem Knight Master Diamond
Shaddoll Squamata is Satellarknight Unukalhai
Yeah Wynn left the gusto
Yes this breaks canon in so many ways
And ye Winda was dead for like 50 years
she be dead like 50 years and first thing she does when revived is to stop others from reviving
err can do that once
and then she proceed to engage with evil machines (fiend)
is that cannon?
First thing she does is blow the Naturia Sacred tree the fuck up
Then she gets captured by Qliphort Scout, and then hacks Qliphort Scout from the inside to trigger the release of the Infernoids
Then, iirc, her Shaddoll form doesn't show up again
Oh yeah, she's the only one capable of breaking the Hexatellarknight seal
@abstract kestrel you know what time it is
i dont have the link this time just yet
Zoroa being the evil flame deity sealed away makes this closer to the manga LORE.
Tho, he mentions he also sealed him (tho he might have meant it figuaritvely as he and Verre sealed the dimension after Aleister seemingly finished him off, could just be knocked out we have no confirmation besides his mana is gone and the place is now unstable) and Aleister (again could be figurative, since the manga explictly states he was one of the few that wasn't there to seal him.)
Now that I think about it, unsealed Aleister from Ep 1 looked normal, so maybe he was sealed after the Magistus/Zoroa incident, came out, then began his summoning experiments till he fucked up so bad, he became Caliga, then sealed again as the Spellbook Tower First Prophoseer.
Looked back at the calamity prophecy in the manga that prompted Endy to become desperate for power, and it's quite generic and feels implied to not be Zoroa.
I also had the impression he was waging the war against the Spellbook Tower, one for the stated reason of not giving out magic knowledge willy nilly, tho magic use via Spell Counters is fine I guess, but the actual reason has smthg to do with Aleister, but he seems unaware of that entirely.
Tho, timeline wise and considering Artemis still looks small, this is prob pre the first Wizard War.
On that note, Artemis going you are so kind and always blaming yourself to the guy who will perform animal experiments, try getting his son sacrificed, and start the 2 wizard wars is so funny.
TW: Problematic age gap and grooming
Not sure how much of the dream is real or just Endy's distorted perspective, "I'll leave the rest to you" doesn't really make sense in the manga context, and we don't have much in card LORE to confirm or deny it.
They did confirm them opening up the Theurgy and letting mana into this world (tho, nothing on Zoroa fooling them to do so) and saving the world, so that's one for the manga accurate side.
On the anim side, my only complaint is I wish the Magic circles on a[magical citadel] was rotating, felt a bit static looking at the establishing shots.
Saw some people think Endy saying he sent for Rilliona is why she was missing in Witchcrafter Confusion.
One, this seems pre first war, and while we don't have anything really timeline wise to say when Verre operated her guid and when Confusion happens, I feel the implication is it was during the second war, tho, considering in the newest wave, she's back with a new adult form, the prev assumption of her going to Pendymion v Tower Aliester was wrong, so who knows.
Tho, I guess with Aleister being unsealed, now Endy going solo without his army to Zoroa, maybe we see Witchcrafter guild next with Verre missing towards the end and leaving a note like in Confusion, and she joins up for the rematch v Zoroa in Ep 4.

This would be so out of left field, and implied neither by the manga or card LORE so far that if Konami suddenly plonked us with 3 continuities, I'll have to bang my head to a wall.
Maybe Ep 4 is Flashback Zoroa as reminisced by the three coming back together to fight him, then cut from their prev fight to seal him and the Theurgy to now and ends on a screenshot of their modern battle. Could also be why Verre is fullpowered and adult when she comes back in the newest wave, since we see her getting big when her mana defiency is gone, so Endy/couple of Spell Counters might have did that temporarily.
Wait, what? How old is she? I thought she like 100+ years old like Endy was lol
She's a goddess, so prob thousands of years old.
Ah she appear young, but is actually far older than Endy huh
Also, in the manga LORE atleast, Aliester as a baby time travelledfrom the past and it was implied the Magistus spirits were watching over him from then.
Ok, reread the portion, forgot they explictly show the three spirits after the shopkeep implies about them in the legend, but yes, and also it was stated this happened Millenia ago, so she is multiple 1000s of years old while Endy is prob 100+ after Regulus is born, so prob much less pre first wizard war.
Endymion mentions that there's a calamity coming in the Manga and it was kinda hinted that there was one "100 years ago"
iirc
The calamity being the one that he needs to sacrifice Regulus to deal with
Here's the issue though, we're pretty far into the manga and we kinda don't know what the calamity is?
If it's Zoroa for the third time, it wouldn't make much sense
New manga chapter has more gulpo shittos..

100 years ago was the first Zoroa fight(if the second Zoroa fight is real).
We see Artemis mention it in her story to baby Regulus that it was 100 years ago.
Just realized Episode 3 is gonna be a nothingburger CGDCT with WCrafters.
we might see walpurgis?
but yeah the timeline is kinda
they dont match up from what i understand
Endymion is still pretty young in the Anime and Artemis is Artemis
Regulus hasn't even been born yet
a[endymion crescent magistus]
It's from this time.
On that note tho, this feels like it's the first time Konami has shown mons in an explicit romance. Usually, unless it's a gag like with Dai, even for canon couple like Emilia and Avance. Closest thing to romantic gesture we have was Ghost meets girl. But now, Artemis explictly states she loves Endymion and in the manga Seede obv likes Regulus in the latest chapter.
Where can I find the medius lore
Did elara always have allat

What’s the timeline for verre
Profile checks out
Magistus Rilliona main deck, then the Xyz, then WC Verre, then Maid of Endymion, finally new one.
Oh I thought she was a maid first then became rilliona
Maid was a result of her trying to de-age herself as she got old
Kept screwing up the spell, bounced back and forth between baby and ancient hag so she called it quits at little girl
Atleast according to the manga LORE, she didn't call it quits but fucked up her mana so bad she has mana deficiency and remains a child (also needs to sleep if she uses too much), and needs to be juiced up with mana (like with a Spell counter) to temporarily gain her power and age at her prime, before reverting back and going nappy nap.
Fym
More offscreen info from Master duel this time to make DT chroniclers want to kill themselves even more.
There's regular human scientists in the Allies of Justice who are working on inventing and repairing them.
R-Genex Undyne is (now retconned to be) the first R-Genex.
Genuienly funny all the DT1 stories have these lines about the Worms got stronger or more monstrous or evolved further, but in the real world they didn't get any new cards, so they keep showing the same couple monsters like King, Queen,Prince etc.
That's so shit
"The Genex are actually evil" retcon has been disaster to humanity
It's not evil. It's more so, they are what I would say are the equivalent to fairies or the like. Keep to themselves, close to nature, and come together to beat those who cause it harm etc etc. They are more a neutral party (still oppose the Worms but not directly joining the Allied tribes) that the tribes realized are highly compatible with their tech but they gotta force them into it a bit.
The Link 1 being Controller but Lobotomized is so funny. It's just like how the deck plays. Peak ludonarrative LORE meets gameplay.
Oh I thought MD follow recent retcon that they are secretly sleeper agent of Tierra
Do dracotails have lore
it's almost like they should've waited before releasing a Worm for every letter in the alphabet
Rewatched the Episode 2 of Magistus LORE.
Endy's army is filled with Magical Crusaders, unlike the manga which was Magical Defenders (Defender is a name like Breaker, these are bog standard sword/shield dudes). The anime army is led by a Red colored variant Crusader while the manga which happens chronologically later is led by Rogue who also is Red.
Could be a shift in their army gear. Rilliona even remembers Rogue from a long time ago + He knows Emba, so he could be the current Red Crusader already, and he has a longer lifespan.
On that note, just realized Rogue is also blond. My prev theory was among the Pendymions, Magister was the only non important char, so he would be revealed to be Endy's son but then they showed Regulus' design.
Both Rogue and Regulus (and Artemis) have blond hair.
Could Rogue be Endy and Artemis first child or smthg, and he was not gifted with Artemis magic like with Regulus and that is why he is never shown unmasked and has known Verre/Emba. Emba could've even been his nurse/nanny which is why the implied strong connection in that scene.
Ofc, all of this only pertains to the manga LORE and is my headcanon only.
He could also be directly related to Endy's little brother since that plotline ended pretty abruptly, but I don't think him being an uncle/older cousin would be an impactful reveal as him being a brother and we get a big reveal scene where his mask breaks and Regulus sees basically his same face but older and maybe a scar or smthg.
For the cousin angle, it is possible, he could be revealed to be the Endy's brother son but because Endy "killed his little brother and family" atleast in the public's eyes, the little brother's child was raised as a regular soldier and unrelated to the Royal blood he has and he has some baggage with that, tho this one doesn't have as much a strong connection to Emba, unless it was smthg like Endy refused to execute a baby and gave him to Verre/Emba to raise in secret. (The last bit could also apply to the Regulus brother theory, but it was smthg like Magical backlash from not being able to handle divine power like Regulus did etc etc).
