Using such a bot to get an edge in gameplay is wrong, but at the very least somewhat understandable. It's very wrong, still.
But it seems they're going far beyond that, judging from their game tags; they want to actually destroy this game utterly.
Going off what Misty said, this sort of thing would have rammifications for a lot of products Valve has too, such as their newer PVP game, as well as any others potentially suffering, like the Counter Strike series
Fixing this would not only benefit players, but also provide goodwill and even more revenue for Valve in the long run

2Fort and Hightower and to a lesser degree Turbine are great TDM maps because you can just ignore the objective and go shoot guns at enemy gamers
