Progression Adjustment
Right now people are just trying to farm G Rank Ziru because he's the second strongest unit in the game behind the new Monarch unit, or they're farming money for swords. The game revolves around the Ant King raid RNG and swords. With no way to turn SS into G, this makes the game an AFK gamble.
With the addition of SS dungeons, I think every unit in the game should have a G rank. In the same way that you can Arise the SS Ant King and get a G shadow, every SS unit in the SS dungeons should have a chance to be raised at G Rank. This will create a more linear progression system, as G Ranks from later islands will scale up higher than G Rank Ziru. I understand that the N Rank will only apply to Monarch, which is fine. That will be the current end-game unit, but implementing these additional G Ranks for regular units will make the Ant King raid more of a mid-game activity. This will increase the amount of people dungeon farming and create a less AFK-based experience in the late game.
As it stands right now the game is -> Farm ants to get SS -> Farm Ant King for G Rank or farm money for swords -> Farm for Monarch
You barely need to leave Dedu Island in the early/mid game, and it feels more beneficial to just do AFK rewards or sword farming for late game.
TLDR:
- SS Dungeon units have a chance to Arise at G Rank
- This creates more linear progression instead of just AFK/Ziru Farm
- More focus on late-game Dungeons instead of Ant King raid
- Increase shadow damage/lower weapon damage to nerf the sword farm
