In my opinion the best way to increase clarity would be to turn the icon on the implant itself the something that reflects what it is (like a knife for knife fight, fist for hurting hands, etc.) with color reflecting body part and to keep the icons in the top left.

if you're doing the camera shake with noise then you're not gonna get it to loop, if you use something like sine waves then it should be possible

Who else has played lots of old-school FPS games in the past and thinks of the original Quake OST when listening to the Marathon OST? It's more of a soundscape that adds an extra dimension to the game world, as opposed to a traditional soundtrack. Hard not to appreciate
