genuinely fan made runner designs usually come out super cool mainly cause you're not as restricted in color palette

also you don't have to deal with as many details as something like a modern ballistic vest so yeah :)

Funnily enough I think that was one of bungies intentions for the art, to make build runners up with pieces that are no different from legos in the sense that you can essentially go crazy and still come with something coherent and good looking

one thing i love about this is how they play with making the runners look "kitted". glitch has a really cool bandolier over a literal plate of armor. it doesnt really remind you of modern day plate carriers, but its enough to get across that the runner is protected to some degree
