In Procreate, when you have all the drawings, you can hover over the Glitch you made and it will show you the progress from scratch. It doesn't need to be the whole thing, just show like the first 7 seconds and you should be good

In marathons case I think the fact the textures r so minimalistic, it needs that realistic light source otherwise it does look unfinished/weird. MC has super gritty textures so it works without it well too.

quick question if there are any copyright experts out there: If I were to make a sticker pack of the Marathon runners, how could I do it to avoid getting in hot water with Bungie themselves (if you're reading this Bungie we're cool yeah)?

• If you take directly the current marathon runners without modifying them you will both break NDA & copyright law.
• Now if you do a transformative process, aka you draw with your own lineart, coloration, etc, the characters, congrats you enter the copyright grey zone of fair use. Usually big companies don't go after small creators for that, unless they are nintendo, but it is a risk, you could receive a cease & desist.
  Now very important part, even doing so is a break of the current NDA, so it isn't possible for now.
  So tldr: Too soon for any art of the game or anything related to the game due to NDA.

All fan art is technically breaking copyright law, especially if you sell it or sell material featuring it. You are using intellectual property that doesn’t belong to you for personal gain.
However, to be prosecuted, you need to be worth prosecuting. That’s why most fan artists get away with it - the company balances what they’d lose in community building, sentiment and free advertising vs the damages they might get out of an artist, which would be negligible in most cases.
So, sure it’s illegal, but they’re not going to do anything about it because it doesn’t make sense, so go for it. Just don’t send it to the legal department lol (I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice, I will not be liable for any damages resulting from this message 🙂 )

Hi, sorry if there are any spelling errors. I rarely interact online, but in this particular case, I loved the appreciation for the universe of this game series and the excitement for the new marathon. I have some sketches I made around the April reveal that I'd like to show you. Oh, and I've been preparing several things that I'm eager to share with the community and the marathon devs. I haven't completely finished them yet because I've been jumping from idea to idea, reworking them from scratch, and the last few days I've been feeling a little discouraged. But almost everything is ready. I was also excited to read your opinion. I'm not a graphic designer or a designer in general, but everything was done with a lot of love for this entire community. Also so that those who haven't been able to play in any of the playtests yet (myself included, I haven't been lucky) have a bit of marathon to take with you, Also a special mention for @quaint quartz // @imago who designed the marathon universe fonts.

Im sure theres ways to make a raster file of the original images, and then in a viewer that allows 3D, simply outline the section you want raised for each individual section you have pathed

I've never been clever enough for automation but the shapes are all simple enough that im sure theres a smart way to do it other than manually tracing all the parts in blender

Ehhh you dont need blender, again theres apps out there you can use.
Gimp to turn to a raster file
Then you can use any other CAD software thats free out there that works with 3D printing

It can be finicky, luckily you can download older versions. Lots like 2.0 and other 2 version builds
