If the damage is cut in half like I'm suspecting you can 2 shot + quick melee at 20 melee stat for exactly 200 damage, assuming you hit all pellets at their max damage

At 100 melee stat you need to deal 165.5 damage for a down with quick melee

The sponsored kit queue is a total blast! I hope they extend it for the rest of the season and implement it in Season 2 and beyond. It's such a fun and awesome alternate game mode

Fingers crossed adding solo-only option to it and duo queue with it (and have duo queues permenantly for all maps on Season 2)

Imo the sponsored kit queue is an excellent mode for making the game more causal friendly and an even playing field. With it there's something for everyone (especially if they add a solos only queue and duos for it, covering the enitre playbase queueing options)

Also kudos to Bungie for the depleted health and shield kit changes and drop rates off UESC recruits. They are cooking

It's like, you're a white shield on a map where it is expected and standard to be at least blue if not purple shields. You will get hosed down if they so much as smell the fact you're an easy target. And that's one gun down for your team and one more thing they have to do if they recover.

The invis from assassin is very balanced in this game and everything has a counter. If you're running solo you HAVE to slow down and be more paranoid. It's not like Tarkov where you can sprint in endgame armor and just watch for the leg meta, or most of the others when you can still just sprint and slide around in heavy armor/shields.

The whole game is balanced for team play what you mean?! Solo was an after thought and they're just now getting it balanced somewhat for that. The invis is nice for map traversal and the prime is good for healing up or baiting, but neither of them are for pvp...if the invis wasn't there, you can trust these people would be hiding in places you've never known to exist, or in vents for most of the run.

Don't get me wrong, I think the amount of Assassins is kind of crazy, and I say this as an assassin main, but it is what it is. I don't use the invis to sit in a corner for 15min. I only pop my invis if I hear footsteps coming at me or I need to cross the map and I don't want to alert everyone and their mother to me because I alerted 30 fucking UESC. Lol

Sound is THE single most important information gathering tool. You can hear people's skills, footsteps, if they're looting, jumps, if they've alerted UESC, alerted turrets, healing, self rezzing....there is a sound for EVERYTHING. Learn to use that to your advantage.

its mechanics in this game allows you to bypass the ai, and then easily rat and wait till ai gets aggro and alrets you, happens to me alot. Maybe isolated it's not necessarily OP but in the dynamics of this game it makes assassins kinda OP solo, let's not lie to ourselves.

The whole solo play is kinda based on stealth play as you mentioned, assassins does thet best and I guess the number of assassins we see in solos can confirm that

I don't know what to tell you... I'm on console with a lot less control over my sound...and the only big issue I have is vertical sound, specifically directional vertical. Hard to tell if someone is above or below me when they're not directly above or below.

Yeah...don't get me wrong, this is not an easy skill to learn or utilize. A lot easier said than done...I'm pretty good at it but not nearly as consistent as I want to be. It's something I'm still learning and probably will never stop. It's why I like to try and do some sponsored/reckless runs for the first few runs of the session. Get my awareness raised up and tune my ears into the "paranoid" state.

And before you say I should be bartering for those things, you run out of barter materials very quickly, I have like 50 purple enzyme salvage and like zero common salvage because I barter it all when I have it
