I havent done it in a while but when I first started I was walking out with like 5k with no faction upgrades, runs take ~10-15 mins max and the queue is pretty much instant, just avoid players and restock on consumables, guns, etc

There is a theory on the internet that every IP from bungie is in the same universe considering all 3 big IPs (halo, marathon and destiny) all happen at different years (2500, 2800 and 3000+). They all have many many references to one another wich would prove the universe connection but there are timeline discrepencies that make the theory impossible. TLDR bungie just likes to make dozens of references to their other games in everything they do

Genuinely though the game is very forgiving and you could be set back much further for the loss , you don't need to rush through the contracts. I would suggest next time you have a few hours to put in, use the #lfc-any-zone channel, and make some buddies, the game and contracts will be infinitely easier when you have good pals to play with and help

In a solo light kit run I usually have 1 stack of ammo for volt or semi autos or 2-3 for automatics and then 2 stacks of both green meds, a self revive, and a bit of util (smokes/mech kits/etc)
