You don't. The schema colour is simply it's rarity. All weapons are grey by default, and their colour upgrades through attachments

Volt weapons in general are super good for their ammo economy ESPECIALLY if you get an ammo backpack. Plus the V11 costs 50 credits which is crazy cheap

Railguns aren't great for PvP, but if you're doing boss killing or PvE content, the Railguns do fantastic base damage and great headshot multipliers. Slap on a mod that returns ammo to the mag and you're cooking with gas.

Indeed, but that's true for most guns. Having a chance to line up your shot on even a grey Overrun makes it goated. The Headshot mult is no joke. However for railguns also true, I think the Ares has a base of 129 dmg on body which is real nice

They did it so meds from sponsored kits wouldn't get used up from a single fight with a commander. I get what they're trying to do....and it is a very fine balance. Give more ammo and meds to a semi-skilled player and it becomes too trivial, as it was you fight 1 commander and you're essentially out of meds for another fight.

To be honest, I'm an extraction shooter purist. I cut my teeth on sniper shotgun scavs in Tarkov....getting head tapped and 1 shot by ai scavs firing a shotgun almost 100m away. The way I see it....keep the difficulty up, players should die, die, and die again until they learn. But....that's not viable...at all...so...I've learned to accept these small changes.

Haha...rough is an understatement. Multiple maps and multiple spawn points, you'd spawn in with a 1mil kit and instantly get headshot. No idea from where unless you memorized the spawns on the map and could make an educated guess. Also, don't get me started on the absolute HILARIOUSNESS that is seeing a naked player run by being chased by EVERY AI on the map because he's "tagged and cursed" for loading in naked. 🤣
