They released it before the slam, but it was defective and they pulled it. This is the fix for 595.59. I was able to mod it and try it without issues during the slam. The game ran much better so something to look forward to.

It’s worth giving a shot now they added five new heroes and redid an entire perk system to where it’s better to stay as a hero. You are than to constantly switch. Some perks even change the way your character plays completely. It’s pretty fun.

it’s honestly been a very long time since i’ve had a game make me this excited. I was really happy to get the chance to participate in the playtest - but now it’s closed
At the moment, the game is quite expensive. I don’t mean to say that it’s overpriced, but in my country, buying a game at that price is truly a luxury. Another barrier is that it would be very difficult for me to find a “companion” (someone from the same country who speaks the same language). I don’t have any friends who play Marathon - my friends are busy playing LoL, Valorant, Roblox, and so on…
In the end, i really like Marathon, but i genuinely don’t have the money to buy it this year… 😭
