BF6 has it figured out i guess. i'm stuck on PS5 due to the hyper aggressive anticheat banning any and all linux distros. on there you can play with analog sticks + aim assist OR dualsense gyroscope. using the gyro disables the aim assist because it'd feel terrible otherwise

mouse and keyboard is supported but the gyro is too fun. if bungie can hit that standard they have a winner in the controls department

Thief gives you the tools to avoid enemies or knock them out, but you are very bad at lethal combat. Its set up as a tile by tile game where if you step on grass, it has different louder/softer sound than walking on wood or metal. It also has some fantasy/steampunk elements that force you to adjust. Its a masterpiece. Thief 2 is the goat especially. Dishonored is a murder sandbox and its goddamn amazing

Health stat is more so a PVP tuning now, there are an abundance of ways to regain health in PVE (devour, restoration, heal clip on weapons) that you just hard focus on weapon damage and ability regen instead.

I think the one I use occasionally is /d2lfg

If you want to take health for that speedy shield regen, you gotta invest in it hard.

The increments aren't worth it unless you take 100 to build into other stats or the full 200.

Depends on what you want to do with it, there’s definitely more build diversity now. Since you were asking about raids, boss DPS will definitely rely heavily on weapon/super. for example, if you’re a thundercrashing titan, 200 super is great.

Having some into the stat isnt bad, 62 will increase the health from an orb.

So its good if you're build focuses on creating orbs for regen or armor charges.

Looking at how well-designed the enemy AI is, I have a feeling that a purely PvE mode would truly set it apart from Arc Raiders and other extraction shooters. It's almost as if Marathon's design, despite its heavy PvP focus, would actually work better if it were built around PvE. Plus, I think it would create room to use the entire hero roster, instead of forcing everyone to focus on the heroes who can turn invisible or detect those who are invisible.

I would say arc raiders is actually helping marathon. A lot of people dont even consider extraction shooters but arc has helped bring people to the genre. For those that play arc and wish for better pvp and first person, they may try marathon and find it's what they are looking for.
