There’s a couple maps, the two from the alpha weren’t huge, dire marsh was bigger, but it doesnt take incredibly long to get across the map in this game like it might in other extraction shooters or BR maps

To be honest these days mobile gaming is lwk console games they're getting massive and more impressive every new major release it's something I thought mobile gaming would be back in 2011, and I thought we peaked with stuff like dead space and real racing back then on mobile

as like you said though, it has a lot of gacha elements but it is what makes the most money and people are more than willing to pay

That's why more of them are getting console realsses (mainly on switch and PS5 cuz Asia market)

and porting them to PC is probably simple, since the game is developed on one duh

I was bummed out because I've been excited for an MMO to come out on PC for years, but they decided to sell it off to a mobile gaming company and turn it into a gatcha hybrid game in hopes of making more money

All you gotta do is give them a good gameplay and allow them to be broken (since they hate nerfs in China) and boom, ppl will gladly pay the gacha systems, hell destiny rising has a 300$ total skin for getting culmination of silver bought over 60 days, but gacha games DO target whales while the better ones (hopefully) treat f2p fair enough but keep purchases more enticing to put them through the door
