But yeah, like others have said, the hard version releases first, has extra mechanics and requires coordination. After the 48 hour window, the easier version releases with less mechanics, and easier damage checks.

I do that on umkeo, and i do the easiest on estela. I usually set up a variant for each every morning (which is why my times are usually awful) and then in the evening i farm the one I pick. With the destruction of my borealis build tho i usually just do heroic now.

The difference is the essence. From experience, the more chests you open the better the odds. I think that rng system is based off a time. @cyan tide deserves credit here. If you open a bunch of engrams at the exact same time for example (random ones) you have a much lower probability of getting what you actually want. You are actually lowering entropy by opening them all on the exact same second.

I think overseers works out to be slightly more maximum then Cordon, but if you are able to get to stage 10 on multiple units but not do overseers before I believe it should work out to be more now. Currently we can get upto 2,300 in three weeks, which works out to be 1,533 per 2 weeks (this isn’t including the event as I assume that won’t happen each cycle). So top players get less but it is open to everyone to be able to get the max rewards.

Expanse also had its amount increased per season (2,880 vs 3,360).

Edit: adding more, we also have seen an increase in Lumia leaves from seasonal quest. I can’t remember exact amount before but it was like 400? Now we get 800 Lumia leaves and 12 limited pulls (2160 Lumia leaves worth).

Nah, gotta drop the hard grind and make it a soft grind. Pinnacle did this but the hard grind wasnt giving anything worthwhile once the soft grind was done. All they had to do was adjust resources and drop rates for No Pinnacle clears and remove the Limiters stopping endless grind.

yep thats how it works. If u do it a bunch, u can get it even faster. Id go for that so u build the muscle memory. Just keep trying to get faster runs.

Look at it tho. For chaos its nothing. Its less efficient. Even if it were identical times, the two chests you get from adept and the lowest lvl one would almost always be the same. thats just how probability works. Especially bc the loot system is a time based rng system. Open 20 engrams at the same time. then open them 20 more 1 by one, and u will see that this is true btw @indigo solar

They cant fix the odds stuff btw the only reason I was able to discover this is bc i did the same in d2. I think its code that came directly from bungie, and was refactored. If u go all in, its like a slot machine. Bigger payout, but bigger losses at the same time.

Its like all games. Each roll isnt done separate. 20 engrams opened separately is 20 rolls. 20 engrams opened all at once is 1 roll

Thats why people have easier time getting 2x mythics in a 10draw by getting pity low first. They wait until its at like 5% chance of mythic drop instead of the normal 1%. It gives all 10 rolls the 5% modifier even if the lightbearer is rolled.

Its why I dont 10 pull on fresh banners or characters I only want 1 copy of. Alot of times you can snag a lightbearer and save yourself 1k+ lumia that way

30 exotic artifacts in 1 day by spending 10 pinnacle energy at a time for each of the 3 chests in chaos. Granted i did alot of them and didnt claim them, opening them without pinnacle, but still. if you use capacitors, you would have just been wasting pinnacle back then. I just got t6 new girl by doing it 1 at a time. Never gonna do sets of 10 again lmao

Each of the units conditions are pretty easy to maintain it feels, if you have a built unit I feel. Jolder just needs Dave stacks which while in combat isn’t hard for her to maintain.
