I started with anesthesia on both sides and one hoof. Then added one of the rare scorcher towers and nail gun. Added a second hoof to the other side corner. Added and upgraded more anesthesia, and upgraded the scorcher and nail gun until about stage 15, then went heavy into upgrading hoofs and putting them every where and slowly replacing upgrading the hoofs

Or you can transfer the substats of an artifact of the same name with a different element to one that has the element you need. I suck at putting these things into words. Kinda confusing I know :x
