Rule of thumb in any Gacha is pull for a character you like! It is worth mentioning that - as of right now - I understand her to be much like Jaren (the golden gun solar Hunter) but specializing in arc damage and using snipers instead of shotties

She's quite strong when properly built with talents/artifacts and the right guns, cranking serious damage numbers, too. As with all things balance-related, though, this could change!

You should, of course, make sure you take advantage of weekly activeness via casual activities (fishing, iron bar, shadowshaper duels, and sparrow racing) so you get the max rewards.

Through a combination of that, as well as doing activities and tasks in the seasonal tab to hit the max rank across all categories, at the end of the season you'll get a settlement bonus which will yield you those 40 condensate which you can convert into any character or ascend an existing character (which provides passive buffs to damage or abilities, generally) up to a max of 5

I’ve been around since the start so my favorite are Estella, Jaren and Ning. You can get crystals to unlock characters you missed before you started

I’d mess around on each character you do already have and stick with the one you like most playstyle wise. You’ll need atleast one character of each element so void arc and solar.

You’ll use wolf for story line so just play him until you finish story. You can unlock other characters along the way some for free. Some draws cost boats which you can buy with silver or lumia leaves. The ones that aren’t in those “banners” can be unlocked with I think 40 of the specific characters crystal. We can buy them and earn them by just playing.

Ning feh is a great character to build, especially as a first character

A fully built Ning feh can probably clear most content and very fast at that. I’d say it’s worth investing into if you like his playstyle

you’ll want to upgrade gear level and stars fist, and put mods on/level them up while you slowly get the mats for mayamuri’s skill nodes. also his skills are definitely highest priority, but really everything uses different mats and you can farm them all whenever you’d like since energy systems are gone

currencies don't really matter until you get high enough to need them, and doing a bunch of different activities or selecting the high level loot in the wishlist will take care of you

Efrideet is very strong even at T0. I was in a similar boat as you, as my only other built characters were wolf and umeko, so I pulled efrideet and built her. So far I’ve been loving her and I have a hard time putting her down even at T0

With that said, since she’s so strong at T0 it may be worth saving your pulls and using your end of season shards to unlock her so you can focus your leafs on someone who is strong with talents in the future. That’s only if you’re ok using what you got for the rest of the season

Neither option is bad, pick whatever feels right to you. I don’t think ikora t1 is worth it tho since she will be in regular pool eventually like Kabr, and idk how impactful t1 is unless you wanna go all the way to 6 where she’s very strong

If you play the game and just do the typical stuff to get weapons and artifacts you’ll get level 90 in a day or two. There are more primary missions after the normal campaign that’ll level you up real fast

Got a question. I noticed that we have two season quests for completing the new Gauntlet: Onslaught "Great Hunt"(the hard one). One is in the challenge category and one is in the experience category. I just completed it on normal difficulty which was released today and it doesn't count for the quests. Does this mean that it's impossible to get the phase 3 settlement reward at the end of the season if you don't complete the Great Hunt hard version? That would include the 40 elemental condensate and other rewards.

In that case if you’re still struggling with chaos I would recommend tan-2. He makes chaos a bit easier, especially if you have the borealis. That said, I like sniper based characters

Yes. The initial campaign. There will be more after seasons opens for you. You have to complete all the chapters basically.

is there a good explanation of the artifact system? I understand general idea but for each perk, there's 2 numbers. What are the 2 numbers, and how do they change with the upgrade and infusion system?

How do you use a spreading light event code?

The first number in each perk is basically the artifacts IVs (if you play pokemon at all). Those numbers are unique to that artifact and can’t be changed at all with anything. The second number is essentially its “Level”, and you can upgrade it all the way to maximum by just using artifact essence. Both of these numbers serve to increase the artifacts score to enhance the attributes and also gives more light level

Nope, gotta get new rolls. If every stat is at or over 40 it’s considered good enough (or like mostly all over 40, one 37-39 won’t hurt the roll)

and casual activities have the 100 points bar on the bottom
and events will ping you when there's something to collect

Target lock is a legendary perk (purple), so it can't be forged to a higher level. Perk forging is only available for mythic perks (orange)

hi everyone, do I understand correctly that if I haven't participated in the great hunt event, I won't be able to get phase 3 settlement rewards at the end of the season? because there are two identical quests in 2 categories requiring an event clear

elemental condensate is another progression mat to unlock the base copy of characters, but if you've already obtained said character -> you can use them to ascend characters

per week you get 15, but you can get more by unlocking engrams and doing limited time events

such as the current one, which is iron pledge (Grants you an additional 4 condensate) and the "singularity: chaos" event (again engrams grant you a chance to get condensate)

you can unlock all base characters for completely free via the new elemental condensate system (if you go to archives tab in the character selection tab you can see xx/40 on each character, and you just need to collect 40 condensates to unlock one mythic)

ikora's a tough one to start fresh because all the best exotics are battlepass so a slow to unlock
but she's a VERY good universal character

cause she has good survival and each shot gives her overshield and dmg
go for the mythic weps for now and you'll still be fine

attal is pretty much crept by efrideet but she's not in the draws currently, though if you get a 5 kabr while rolling ikora he's still a very good piercing

I'm kinda confused on how to like level up gearlvl on my weapons because I have like 3 of the same weapons cognitum carbine and they are all gearlvl 40 and like idk what I'm doing wrong or something

Weapon drops are based on your team level, but if you drop a higher level weapon you can "modify" your lower level weapons to become a higher level

You can have multiple of the same weapon that have different "Perks" on it that change the way the gun behaves

if you have a lvl 50 weapon and you want to get it to lvl 60, you need to drop multiple lvl 60+ weapons and use them as material to level up the lvl 50 weapon
