I started on the highest difficulty, most things one-two shot you. Eventually you can gear up to be less fragile to where its like 3-4 hits.

As for dealing damage I haven't had too much issue regarding spongy enemies but you have to make sure your weaponry is not too far behind enemy levels

the atk is the power level. the post/slash/crude the base damage

if your power level is better you do increased damage a multiplier to base damage
if your power level is lower you do reduced damage.

I know every world is generated seperately. Does that mean if I make a new world and load into it, that the chests and rewards inside of them, reset? I've almost finished the first zone and haven't found much of any weapon plans and my damage is starting to lack.
