I think just a little mess around on the stone could add some life to it. The current foundation texture is repeating a lot. I like the door wall though.

The house I began with.. I see definite upgrades to the one you're working on Keep at it and happy pirating.

Even if you threw a tree farm there to break it up I think it would really obscure the repeats.

Maybe a shed to hide some of that large stone wall, with some banana trees or fiber plants. Maybe some shell decorations or awnings covering some kind of dedicated space.

But like I said, that door section looks fantastic.

You could also potentially snake some pillars in that zone to make it look supported or what not. The shape is looking good

First, find the correct anchorpoints.. then calculate how many levels you'd love to have.. Initially, if you are going on 3x3 grid, there is not much we can do, but say if you could expand it to 3x5 that could already add definite changes in sampling the staircase style.

I'm super happy with how this kitchen is coming out. I've never fdone so much free placement or so very much clipping as in this. I have several workbenches and upgrades embedded in the countertops. The cabinets each have 2 chests embedded in them and the coutnertop items represent their contents (fruit bowl for produce, meat bowl for meat/fish/poultry, mushroom bowl for gathered stuff - mushrooms, coffee, etc.

Still has more to do, and then I just need to do... the rest of the house...

Ah... well its an amazing build. I don't have anything nearly as glamorous. I have different shops for different stations. Alchemy shop, warehouse where the workbench is, clothing shop for armor, jewelry, tanning, spinning wheel, and the weapon shop for the weapon bench with a connected outside patio for the smelters and coal furnaces. Then I'm building the kitchen and my house with an adjacent farming area.

no, but my suggestion, stick with 1 bonfire for the central base,
relocate the bonfire temporarily to build deco in distant areas, then put bonfire back where it should be...
all deco outside range will stay, if bonfire is removed...

This is what I do when building too but im going to have things that need a bonfire to work that are too far away from each other. I think ill just have to figure out exactly where those things will be then do the bonfires

in that case, i'd fall back to mod usage...there are some that extend bonfire range...
in singleplayer, even the x10 range works perfect, with dedicated servers, it seems max range is x2.5...so best use the x2 mod max for dedi servers

update on my island chain fortress. i finished the castle on the cliffs and started making my sea wall and forts along the other island. went with a star fort style layout. one sea wall is almost finished and the fort on the ground needs a few more details before also being done

Broke down starter base and getting a hub built up. Farm isn't gonna stay, is just there to get some crops. No idea what to do on top of signal fire/kitchen. Blacksmith hut might change into armor/spindle/tanning and build a different area. Maybe put it in vendors hall.
