You need to put temporary wall behind it, then make sure every edge of the sword touch the left and right wall, then put the chain right below the sword, then remove the temporary wall

if you have a beam goin from the ground up inside that should work it needs to be grounded somewhere at least once, i think thats why the pier platform is working to hold it up

islands are generated differently but have like same basic shape/size but not identical to another players map, im not sure if duplicates exist but if you're looking for a specific island there will be a version of it on your map too

yeah - it seems like there are fixed island form factors that are each generated slightly differently whenever they appear. I think we get one of some and more of others. Like everyone gats one C/E island that we all love, and one of more of the one with the small bay and the big rock shape witht he hold on one side.

It's reminiscent of valheim's map generation but also distinctly different

you can make furniture out of other parts. I used to make wooden couches in valheim out of wall and beam parts

and I've seen some good examples of similar stuff in windrose. start with a bench than decorate around it until it looks like a couch

@hazy oyster go per panel that is turned and make one roof on it in line. When there is an open gap use handmode to fill in these gabs

you need to follow the lines from the side so 2 different angles but an same height, but do this with step by step, you will get your curve

Its a beginning, but for for eac floor piece you need to expand the radius ( and amount of triangles *)on each level.. but still it won't be a perfect circle without fiddling

Not sure if the devs will see this, but honestly, I feel like an eye patch could be used. It could give a night vision buff when on a ship at night. Sailors(mainly pirates or captains) would wear an eye patch so that one eye is accustomed to daylight, and the other to night.

This game could do something similar, give it a name like "menacing eyepatch" or "scholar glasses" with buffs relative. Make the buffs come with a debuff to make them optional instead of outright upgrades

One of my houses has a hidden, partially flooded basement with a treasure chest. Stairway is walled off. I keep stuff in there I don't want my friends "borrowing," lol.

I love hidden rooms/compartments.

One of my first projects in the game was a lighthouse so that signal fire can be seen well over the tree line. Basic build set, and blocky af, but the interior has a spiral staircase, two storage floors, and it works great for visibility.

I should do another one, now that I have a bunch of build sets unlocked.

Pretty sure I could do a spiral pattern using the triangular wall pieces.

like the tavern is a structure then there's the alchemy hut on the water, there's a tower to help join some of the veritcal pathing and a blacksmith that's nto decorated at all rest is just like stuff on layers xD

There is one curved wall in the game but it's useless and ugly so it's better to use the triangle pieces and freeform to do it
