copper, iron, silver, gold, Divi-divi, some swamp stuff, and those tumbaga ingots.

silver: a shipwreck cluster thing full of drowned with five chests. The glowing barrels here contain silver, and unlike the chests, they respawn. That's silver.

honestly windrose has crept up to #2 for me in terms of building over valheim 🤣
Enshrouded #1 Windrose #2 and Valheim #3

they all do amazing things tho, but i feel like windrose is closer to enshrouded in both building pieces/astetics/lighting
dont get me wrong i love valheim to death but damn the development is slow. supposedly 1.0 this year tho, but so is enshrouded in Fall. 😄

Compared to this game just hitting EA we have sooooo many build pieces (and majority are frontloaded onto vendors)
while rest is decor which is imo a briliant move.
Where games of this type tend to unlock "new resource later -> new building block" and you go oh crap time to rebuild 😂

Easy fix: between every 3-5 sections instead of a tower turn the wall into a turret. Expand it outward and add a staircase leading down to a storage area. If you've unlocked them place standing braziers around the turret.

Full opinion: sea walls were never truly that straight. They curved to better withstand tidal forces. Towers were build where pillar foundations were set and had signal fires on them. Id suggest turning the wall into a _/-_ shape. Each turn is a tower shorter than the ones on ground besides the center which would be taller but also thinner. A fort would also be attached and the main entrance into and onto the wall. It also needs to be WIDER by a fair margin in the middle. Say 6 to 8 foundations wide with the shallower walls being 4 wide. I know the guide you're using but its not great for building channel fortresses.

if you place a large archway in the middle you could sail your ships under the bridge as well, if your looking to place gun installments i suggest look into classice medival crenulums or what ever they were called, hope it helps nice bridge 🙂 nobody is getting past you without paying the toll.

depends on the resource. Quite a few able to be bought through merchant contacts which people have access to once they reach tortuga.

When I did mine, I started with the battlements (the castle wall bits) using the large stone foundations.

Once I figured out a layout that worked and had structural support, it got easier. But I spent a long time on the foundations

i found its best to collect resources buy buying it in bulk from merchants, generally i try to buy 1000 or 2000 stone and wood at a time, if you do some pirate raiding its pretty affordable.

im sure many of us have over 10k+ in purchased wood and stone 🙂

I used a pillar of wood straight up, then put triangle (skinny top) roofs all around on 15 degree intervals. Then added more lower.

Stone foundations in free mode on 15°, placing them controlled random

and using the shovel to adjust ground levels

the stairs are also stone foundations, and i also use the stone stair corner blocks, those have just 1 small stone on top, so for ground work these also come in handy if you move then down in free mode with z + scroll
