Wasteland refresh: cleans up some messier textures and meshes for more cleaner building.
Rebuild the commonwealth: adds quests that unlock building items that dont make everything look like shanty towns (wood and plaster walls, steel walls, ect) it also lets you CLEAN settlements of dirt mounds and trash

If you want a suggestion. Make a "floating" roof. Start one tile wider supported by pillars and build a roof over it. But not attached. Then add a bunch of beams and you'll be golden.

If you want to build straight up. You can make the lower section look wider by adding external galleries or pillars that climb the sides. If you want to thin it id check out the inclined stone walls from the smugglers set.

It’s been about a week, I think, since my last journal entry and by the Gods it feels like longer. I’ve been able to hunt the blue birds I’ve come to name Azure Dodos, only because they are actually pretty stupid but they are very relentless once provoked. I still have yet to see another ship pass by and I’ve no idea if any of my crew have survived or not, what I wouldn’t give to see you again Thomas, but I have to remain steadfast that some of them have survived and possibly washed up on another nearby island. I’ve tried to find the necessary ingredients to make my own rum but it’s proving to be incredibly difficult, this is the longest I have been without drink since I was a young lass running the streets pickpocketing tourists. My makeshift shelter has taken quite the beating and I plan to fortify it tonight with more wood and things I’ve come across. I will not let Davy Jones claim my soul. I will survive…hopefully.

Better idea. We're going to treat as a mud pit. Ring the deposit loosely with stone stairs and blocks (use blocks on short corners. Stairs on longer lines.) Ring those stairs with 2-3 layers of basic stone cubes. Inside the clay pit, TURN OFF SNAPPING. and place log foundations to form a rough + shaped path. This will be the start.

If my understanding is right...
Main quest islands are pulled from a pre-generated pool, same with first 3 spawn islands.
The rest are based on a set of fuzzy shape geometry to form the center landmass with the beach painted on afterward. The size is based around the number of poi's for each biome (more poi's in a biome = bigger islands) the terrain is then "sculpted".

This will be my last screenshot as I have quit the game. I built near the swamp under the illusion I could remove the fog with a mod. But after trying for hours I cannot get the mod setup/to work.

Stand on the top of the stairs, facing the direction you want the ship to face, and try it.

If the place you're trying to put it is too close to shore or has other structures blocking it, it won't go there.

The ship tries to place center to your character, parallel, so from where you're standing in that screenshot the shore is too close

Like have the wharf have a spawn button and an orientation button.
Orientation - goes into build mode, orient ship in water, save.
Spawn button, spawns ship in saved orientation.

Then you could put a wharf per dock

Better to buy the flax. Its not that much money and you can get 100 cloths per one trade. Do it 3x and you have enough for the last ship. I get from my 4x4 around 80 flax

for flax you need to kill the second boss and then you can trade for items from the second region. No need to kill the 3rd one. Ive not killed the 3rd one myself

it didnt probably. We usualy have this issue in games. They are made/set up for english keyboards and while you guys have it set to 1 or 2 .. we need to rebind it to ě or š and so on.

You have lovely building and that railings are just sticks tied together with plant fiber ? would swap that to pillars and create your own railings
