i only just started actually building. tryuing to make myself a port based off a hammerhead shark cuz of the island i inhabited
Im doing some research on "Spanish Colonial" builds maybe you can try too if you want to build like this style
this is all i gots for now
Holy this looks Amazing
youre doing some amazing stuff and I love that you're researching. makes it look that much better.
there SHOULD be free cam for building ><
(just like in Once Human)
Im on https://discord.com/channels/1260209458924224542/1305816059747631115 you can watch me build if you want
I also re-watched the first episode of black sails last night and noticed they used alot of painted plaster in their set designs for Nassau. so the Spanish build pieces fit perfectly for anyone wanting to build Nassau or a Nassau like town. tho af black flag took the liberty of using wooden structures. so its all subjective and what you guys want to do. but figured id share what ive noticed in other pirate shows and games.
If a developer happens to see this, would it be possible to add a hangman's rope decoration ? ^^
Building so well should be illegal! It makes all my constructions look ugly af
I think I didnt share this one
are those plaster walls you're using?
That looks crazy man! So you Google architecture of that type and get inspiration that way?
Cool i should try that too at some point. But you really nailed it. Very impressive. Can't wait to see final results
Maybe the devs can take your city over you're don't and add it to the game for everyone π€ͺ
no way
tbh i like that we can make the world our own. Maybe a way to share builings designs would be cool. But might be too complex to do
Well it's cool that the map contains a few NPC towns where we can do trading. Would Be nice we can buy goods at one to sell to the other one. But it's pretty awesome that the majority of islands are quite huge and empty of civilization so we can get wild
Also what im struggling to do with my build is keep a theme. Im doing one cjoice but also adding another. So like classic wood and spanish plaster and tile and its looking off to me. I have to pick one.
I guess within one settlement it looks better to keep one style yeah. Just have to find mats that looks good together and get crazy with them π
Could also be nice to make banana plantation or something like you can find in Black Flag
at first i wanted a classic wood but then i got the spanish pieces so i made one building spanish but idk if i feel like it fits
i present the chapel of St Rose
This is looking fantastic
ooohhhh come onnnn Cem!! u did it again???? amazing as usual bro!
thank you guys
now Im working on trade center
I decided we needed a place to relax after a hard day of Piracy π
can anyone help me with this, is there a way for me to make the floors lower? so closer to the boxes on the bottom? now i just made floor tiles on the wall but i wasnt able to place them lower then this with the snapshotting , anyone got some tips?
Iam totaly in Love π€
very clean and looks like a real location
can i find these tiled roofs in a better angle? i think this is too low
Finally got round to building something that wasn't just a hut!
Press P to toggle off snapping?
Could also use half walls at bottom i guess
Or pile up the storage without a platform in-between
You can also raise/lower the height of your placement hologram with Z+MouseWheel
So many solutions to solve one problem π€ͺ
This game has one of the best building systems Ive ever gotten to play with π
Beatiful. How did you get the arches? I assume you unlock them as you play further?
So I play with a rust pvp guy. I make a beautiful RP fort. I log in, and all areas surrounding my fort are giant stone boxes full of stacks of chests and 500 furnaces.

My character is a little more outlandish than thisπ
Yuppie and buy some schematics from factions to unlock new builds
Cheers!
Is that where the ninth blackbeard chest is? That island in the middle of an island? π Also planning to build there. Pretty beautiful spot π
tnks for the ti[s guys ill go try some stuff!
everyone's map is random generated so idk
Is it also random how the islands look like? Thought it's just the location of the islands π But yea, nice build π
idk my island looks like this
Great island imo, mine are mostly basic, no interesting ones unfortunately, might have to start a new world
Trap zone
Anyone know how to get the Wood furniture we had in the Demo? I don't think it was Elegant. It required Wood and not just plant fiber. Anyone know if it's a found recipe?
you have to buy every plan from tortuga
that's Elegant though
Was that the Wood furniture from the Demo? π€
every trader sells different building set did you check them all?
U also find a lot of decoration plans in the wild
Elegant requires hardwood and other T2 materials. The wood furniture from the Demo looked nice but only required Wood.
U dont get everything from the traders
no way
I got them from quest I think?
Found mine in a random chest
The wood furniture was from a quest?
all I have
Those are all from the Elegant sets?
yeah that brown chair, where is that from?
which set?
dude they all brown π
ππππ
The brown chair with the brownish cushion next to the pew, besides the chair with the blue cushion
near the red smudge, LOL
so strange. So the Demo furniture isn't in the game then?
What is the demo furniture?
no clue
So apparently if you buy a recipe bundle from someone, you don't get all the pieces for a particular style? Is that right? I bought a few and am trying to build but I don't have like all the angles of beams and wall pieces and it's making it impossible to building anything cohesive. Am I missing something?
Turn off snapping. Press Q in game while in building mode.
Well, I guess it was Elegant. They must have changed the recipe for release. How strange.
You get a lot of stuff from quests and exploring
I watched a youtube video and it shows the furniture I'm talking about and it's the same you have.
That was going to be my next question, the stuff sold, are you able to also get that exploring or are the two kinda separate?
is there any way to remove a block clipped into permanent structures if you cant target it?
Nope, and i tried everything lol
oh no
I got fences i cant delete which made me switch islands lol
Same with pillars
I tried every form of cheats and mods and still no luck
damn lol guess its staying in for now
dude my fps dying in this area π
goes 70 to 60 dlss frame gen high settings
I was playing on epic but I had to lower to high
I really like how even the simplest thing can look beautiful because the lighting is so well made in the game
My pc struggles on high, if i load your map it will burst in flames lol
Agree, game is beautiful
Yep, that's exactly the island I meant
I WISH I could find an island this cool
Any tips/tricks you guys have found on locating a great island for a base?
this looks amazing
What is this place ? It's mansion ...
Primitive deposit in early game
anyone have the double barrel pistol thats on a server so i can hold it to get the recipe
I'm not sure if there is a dedicated place for content suggestions but while I've got them in my mind I wanted to put them here.
Whaling -- Maybe have a dedicated ship variant/class to hunt whales with, could use harpoons instead of cannons. Once you kill it you could use part of the boarding feature to tether the whale to your boat and sail it to the coast. There you could have a way to get it ashore to hack it up for meat and animal fat, maybe bones for decoration recipes.
The second thing is maybe have the ability to place an invisible parking spot that your ship goes when you fast travel with it. That way when you fast travel to your base if you have a dedicated pier for it it will be there. Could have them for each class of ship or individual ships.
It seems to be a yes, so far have yet to find anything that can't be supported on piers. I've yet to find water too deep to support them.
I want to find a tiny isle in the middle of the ocean small enough to make an entire waterborn town. Then maybe we'll get Kevin Costner to drop by.
Hola hello
ideas for sprucing up the spa?
You guy know what i am. Missing? A park ship, so u can Decide exactly where your ship appears when u call it in at your harbor π
So u call it in and its right at the pier, and all ur friends have their own parking spot

Could build a pergola over it with some beams then add some curtains.
Howd you manage to get the pikeman helm? :O
how/when does one get that building style/pieces? :0
My starter storage warehouse
I knew that 5x bonfire size was going to be a problem eventually lol. still gorgeous
Anyone found a good U shaped island that is surrounded by hills? im trying to find a good spot for my base
Came here for some inspiration, maybe steal a couple of ideas to get my base started. Now that I've seen all the amazing builds, I'm scared to start π I've re-done my pier about 8 times and I still don't know what would look good...
I foound it it one of the abandoned camps in the swamps where you need to dig for treasure
Im feeling the same way, i think just looking at inspiration and most importantly just having fun trying out stuff, maybe use another island as sort of a testing area is my plan atleast
I'm having a lot of fun, hope you are too! Also, I have about 3 "starter" islands to test things on, but I keep hopping to a different one because THIS IS THE ONE!!! π π
actually maybe the problem that I have like 45-50 traders there idk
Exactly the same issue i have lol, ive been looking for the perfect island for around 5 hours now.. but at some point imperfections and personality in your build is the beauty you see in other builds, just hard to see the finish product when you barely begun thats my issue atleast
I am sure a modder will eventually do this, but there are two things that I would love for the devs to include.
- A free flying camera during the building
- Additionally sea shanties with the unlock of larger ships
Finished My tavern for now. 4 floors high
hit /
Really impressive, how long did you spend on that? π
i hopeee they add carpet bro π or like HIDES for carpet cause man the floors just feel so empty π
about 3 days
Always more to do, but what else for this front entry way?
Looks amazing, nice build
I think I have a good one, an U shaped one like you were looking for ( sadly the game is procedurally generated so I can't give you the coords ). I just keep thinking "is what I made actually how pirate towns were"? π I'm thinking so much about infrastructure and stuff to the point where it doesn't really resemble how it actually looked like
Amazing!
yeaahh it looks amazing. would look SO good with a few hides on the floor π
it was the wrong paste π
this one lol
If you show me photo of the island shape on the map i can find it in my world, if you would like my advice is try to place down "foundations" for the shapes of houses and try to make a townish connection to the different npc's etc thats what im going to try
Yeah that looks amazing.
I closed the game for today, but I'll share some pictures of the island tomorrow!
Thats fine, good luck on the build later π
Thanks! Good luck finding a good island haha
i think im done with my chapel of St Rose for now, thoughts and ideas?
Sick!
This guy is insane
I can't even place 2 piers without second guessing myself π
It's really beautiful! Where did you get those altar decorations?
My Tavern from the Front, even thought i am still not happy with the Roofs we can build, think it turned out not too bad
Y'all are insane, great job on all of em!
view from the lighthouse
In love with this channel
thankyou, im not really sure tbh just grabbed the plans randomly along my travels and never bothered to read what i was learning, the only actual plan i hunted down was the furniture and the stained windows which i got from a vendor in tortuga
nice
Storage shed complete. Except for better signage... if we ever get any more signs.
love it! Mine is way more rudimentary but it works
my storage
that'll do it too Jesus lol
kitchen
The dock/wharf area. Figured if I was going to be traveling to this spot a lot, may as well make it look nice with the merchants as well. Need more npc's plz n thx!
wow
I've already passed this stage and now I have the stage ala tortuga I like the buildings
:3
I figure I'll build one permanent settlement per biome when I find an island I really like. This set of islands with the sheltered "bay" was perfect for a Coastal Jungle settlement. Especially with a copper mine nearby.
Aren't island supposed to not be identical for 2 different seeds?
Cuz my island looks exactly like that lol
I feel like I went over the top with my store house yours is way less then mine but for the better.
looks....familiar.... π€
similar but I see alot if differences in the shore line
yeah they are all built kinda same
it is procedurely generated but I would expect there to be some places that end up being similar
" Procedural Generation"
Those islands were probably similar because that's where the shipwrecks are that you get your ship from.
So you can technically spoil yourself on other player maps lol
there will be THOUSANDS of islands that look similar.
good point now that I look at this lol.
The islands themselves are the same across worlds (with a little bit of coastline variance). The procedural gen is mostly the island's position
So if you like the look of an island on one world, you will be able to find it on another
Sunrise is crazy
Anyone made a base in the swamps?
does tha stuff that you create out of range of bonfire decay?
Custom text signs would be big
when your ship cargo is so full youve got to put things on the hot bar lol
I don't think anything you build decays. Most of my bells don't have bonfires
so you can build like the biggest port citiy? π
lol
Far as I can tell yeah, my main town expands decently outside of the bonfire and I've never had anything decay
I have a base at the rogue buccaneer trade port, and inside the bigger town of tortuga I slapped down a bonfire right in the middle of town lol
You can even build on Tortuga, on top of all their buildings and stuff
have my base intertwined with the docks at the rogue buccaneers port
love this little island
my god is there really that much space in the base radius or have you combined multiple campfires?
Single bonfire, right in the middle, I created a little enclosure for it to make it look nice
hard
Thank you, currently working on the Inn/Tavern thing
yknow this is the type of build i could see online as a "empty built base starter save" for people who just cant build
i remember valheim having a whole website dedicated to that lmao
Oh i so much wish i could save my builds for others to use it
i mean i think you can? just gotta upload a copy of the world save folder
i am talking about buildings others can then just plop
like the thatch hut we allready have
C:\Users(yourname)\AppData\Local\R5\Saved\SaveProfiles\76561198082854127\RocksDB\0.10.0\Worlds
thats where there kept, cant send them over discord i dont think but yeah u could upload the world save with like no materials in it and people could use it as a starter base setup
ah yeah maybe one day but rn sharing the whole world save is the only way i think
As someone who has no single creative streak in him and builds "functional wherever fits" stuff I'd love building code shares
you guys gotta remmeber 99% of this game is bound 2 ur character you actually wouldnt be losing much at all by downloading a world with a prebuilt base and swapping 2 it
I play on a co-op server so I couldn't bring that with me there π
couldnt bring what? like what u have already built? no but u can bring all the materials u have gathered and ur ship etc
even quest progress and pois
I been playing just my dad and I, Stayed up all night making the base he is gonna be in awe
just a feeler question. what about YouTube videos with "how to build insert said design video" or something with a somewhat basic design thats detailed but not overly complex?
Yes but what I mean is if you can save your base design in a scroll and I can place and build that and just need the supplies I'd love to have that.
Those "work" ofc, but I have also used this blueprint feature in dune for example
Also it allows for community interaction and improvements and sometimes turns into a full on metagame
See fashion endgame in MMOs or whatever happens in nms with ship seeds etc.
was just thinking if it helps those that dont want to think about designs and want to just follow something that they can build. I dont think we will get community build plans. so just thinking if theres something i or other creators can do in a quick video to help wirh designs. doesnt hurt to try
the dream but simply using raw world saves gets the job done
i did that back in valheim and my goddddddd that base was so hot man
But yeah this doesn't work if I play on a co-op server where I can't just replace the world
We have shared bases and everyone has their own little island built away.
And mine is... Basically a large wall with roof and all crafting below it.
One thing i dont like about multiplayer is that others can just demolish your things
if they feel like beeing dicks
could always try following a utube guide
i did that for mine and made changes along the way
is it just an issue of getting inspiration for your build or or?
sounds like u have awful friends either that or u made the mistake of leaving it on public
everyone is evil lesson 1
Time, ability and inspiration yeah
na didnt happen, but it is still possible, and some people play on public servers
wip ( exhausted all my wood, again )
I'm the guy that built complex controls in Minecraft but can't build a basic house...
i used 2 be miserable at building but u kinda get a feel for it
start small first off you don't need huge things to make it creative and look good. a simple house or shack. just do a Google search of pirate towns of any kind for inspiration or even late 1600s early 1700s in the carribean for some inspiration. or even if you have a favorite pirate game thats not windrose take a look at what they did in that game. im currently pulling from pirates of the carribean, black sails and ac black flag looking to see if I can combine a visual that will look good.
you really just gotta learn to beat that "this is ugly im restarting" feeling and commit
when u finish it even if its a square block chances are it will look good enough
Well, I can either explore and kill stuff with my time, or build complex structures, I don't have time for both sadly, so I rather do the former π
Thus, long line wall with roof satisfies every requirement Nd then I'm out at sea again π
you don't need to be either or you can explore and kill get supplies for building while out and then build. again the buildings don't need to be huge. you dont need to rush the game either. do what you want and enjoy yourself. itll still be here. its early access so more will come with it along the way.
you people terrify me
i love how its basic but also designed really well. feels like it could be a real place.
the village vibe is amazing but what do you even do with that many separate buildings??
Most of it is to fill dead space or give NPCs homes
that right there lol
although the houses are fully decorated
why's that lol
level 30 comfort with max gear, level 14. nearly 100% completion, all factions max
Yeah maybe that's a very individual problem I have, I am more like a gaming locust these days. I go in hard spend whatever I can then walk away.
Is that something everyone will Ned, surely not but I still think shareable builds are a cool addition.
Surely nothing they should invest resources in now, but I'd still like a feature that functions like it, and we can see on other games that whole metagames and economies can build around this
I love your farm layout
This is what we have
flattening the earth is hell though
Thank you! I have about 3k hours on Rust and Im usually a base rat so this game is perfect for me. Going to spend a couple hours today collecting more soil and i'm going to come up with some kind of farm concept off my main base
Yeah, I agree. That's why I usually build on the beach π€£
i legit thought comfort only went to 10 x D
lord help your soul... 3k hours on rust...
we have our comfort at 31
45 mins of stam regen
that is wild
how? i have every plan hmm...
WAAAAY to much building XD
Examples
you only get +1 for every decoration. i have a decoration from every possible category. not sure what im missing
thats level 18
I made a YouTube video of my 36 pounder Blackbeard Variant Frigate wrecking lvl 15 ships. This ship is pure min/maxed as it can possibly be. If you are wondering is the grind worth it for one then the answer is an overwhelming YES! (It's so much fun)
It's an absolute money maker - this money I use to buy 1000's of stone and wood for my mega base I am working on.
This is me destroying x7 lvl 15 ships in just over 100 seconds of actual combat.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YLBl5_bI8E
Blackbeard Frigate with 36 pound guns (and 24 pound secondary guns) combat fully min/maxed showing it to be a absolute killing machine. The grind is hard for this ship and its max upgrades but as you can see in the video it's completely worth it - and loads of fun!
we have multiples of items in each catagory, so idk
doesnt stack. only one per category
if you say so XD
Did you also find the One Piece? π
Trophies give a stacking bonus, so that helps
oh as a sidenote did anyone figure ouit a reliable method to get ships to "properly spawn or dock" at a pier?
what do you mean trophies?
oh the category
lol yw
forgot to place the blades
anyone knoww what material this is?
stone?
Do we like this above the door design?
i like it
looks like a stone pillar piece from the archway center. dont know off the top of my head tho where in the menu it is lol
That light house!
a friend built it for me, its now my home
just chilling π
Heres the inside
the seccond pic is half way up the lighthouse its self
rugs?!?!? ugh, cant wait!
ooo, and the floor circle work - got to save that pic
Just FYI... the / ? key will hide the UI.
awsome was wondering how to make better screenshots π
still under construction :3
My private Pool π
that arch window is nice
some more pictures of the village in progress that we're working on, ani had posted some of them earlier.
hi does anyone know if thers a way to extend the range of bonfire or stack it/place another one in a way to overlap or be closer to the existing one?
holy interior design
havent found a way to overlap them no, but we just finagle it until one is close to the other and put storage chests near the borders
did u build in areas not covered by bonfire? ive noticed a piece of my build is missing, and was wondering if thats ther eason
i've avoided doing that out of paranoia of something like that happening
everything is in the borders of the bonfire
i see i see okay, thank you!
love your village build, made me realize mine is missing pathing like u did w wood floor
coming along
This is just creative genius. What I'm looking at are wooden handrails, half arches and a wooden canopy to make this design.
wood window concept for my fort
Floki the buildmaster with a work in progress. This is going to be so unhinged i promiseπ
Roofing is a serious business. Call 1-800-SEA-DOGS and book your appointment today!
now with better lighting!
What'd you use for the wooden pathways outside?
floor (logs) and took the snapping off
basically moved them around until they looked right.
I'm a shrimp boat captain!
momma always told me life is like a box of chocolates
^
hey folks, im gonna start recording a series for my YT channel - am wondering if the shanties/music is gonna get flagged for copyright or if it'll be okay.
starter base
I think this has potential for a kickass base. 2 large rock formations and a valley in between
The base I built for me and my friends
this is nice
but you can add more decorations on trade center
yeah is still a wip, also dont want it to be too cluttered
this is amazing market π
understandable
thanks a lot
How are the FPS doing in that zone with all of that ?
just built this Im very tired Im building like 16-17 hours my brain is not braining anymore
60-70
I build like 5 buildings today
Im stealing that mahogany/wall pattern
Buildings don't seem to effect fps much that I've noticed
It's not like Valheim where going over 10k instances lags
hopefully we'll be able to paint the plaster eventually
oh come on man..
u building that meanwhile this is the best i can come up with...
ima lower those side roofs tho.. not sure what the hell i was thinking with that xD
Always different levels of builders. You'll learn tricks and get used to designing stuff
D: Somone give me a price for either gold or silver to pay you to build me a nice little house XD heck ill farm mats even !
the holy, the infinite, the outhouse.
Nice
Unite the roof into one piece and expand it outside the walls by 1 unit
You will see the difference
a great place to get a spider bite
@upbeat aurora @silver crystal professional architects warming up the night before business day
Great jobs sirs
My hut from the elements available from start
still working on it, i might make a larger dock off to the side for my bigger ships, but here's what i gots so far
the fact that the beams dont come to a complete corner kinda irks me a bit
Was wondering if anyone knows if there is a modding discord, would like to see if i could commission a mod
gonna lower the side roofs but for sure wil try to let the roof overhang, thx!
why not use the corner piece?
More than that, rotate the beam by 180 deg and it is a completely different element now, that is not continuing the adjoint beam
there is no corner beams?
not beam, corner fence piece
do you like the tree stumps?
Im clearing the full forest area, still WIP, I'm getting the treeline sorted first then will circle back for the stumps
Yeah I like the stumps from an aesthetic standpoint as the building progresses
feels more real you know?
Flattening that landscape must be the biggest pain in the that spot
im terracing it
I got a chapel started but need to wait on stained glass unlock lol
It is best left as it is but if you can catch straight shapes then terracing is fine.
HAHA YES
im tring to get the roof right like you guys but im having a heck of a time rather than just having a plain roof lol
that is literally the vision once I get the unlocks, just wanted a placeholder for now
The poor mans early chapel
Just keep building do research you will get better

All those stacks were a 2-storey house just the moment before this capture
I mean, that looks really good man
It looks like the Braithwaite manor from RDR2 lol
Don't sell yourself short here
Working on a basic but effective storage system
im watching the master and try to be inspired, meaning you haha
Sure go for it
working
appreciate that, and its got potential, just gotta try a bit harder π
Xdd I mean I was building all these on stream you can join and watch
Omg high five
I am trying to implement ISO 9001 process approach to crafting system in this game
Really hopping that we are gonna get bigger storrage later or at least centralised drop point
oh I see ive miss2d alot of updates people have done
But Im going to sleep rn so but morning I will be streaming again
I've done a lot today you can check
i know, i watched a little bit
but busy life lol
Ohh all good
I did some dyor and figured out that the campfire piechart (or wind rose) is split into 8 pieces for a reason
Basically you can arrange all your craft stations respectively to the type of resources they consume
dumb undead crabs. I used my builder mind to get these suckers in cages lol
I made a port town guide from a art and engineering perspective
PART 1
Windrose Town Building Guide (Engineer Mindset)
Core Principle
Youβre not placing buildingsβyouβre engineering a system and designing a space.
Stop chasing resources.
Build where it looks right.
Fast travel bells handle logistics.
βΈ»
Step 1: Engineer the Ground First
Before anything else:
β’ Pick your town center
β’ Shape the entire build area with a shovel
Do:
β’ Raise β flatten β define levels
β’ Set your final terrain footprint up front
Donβt:
β’ Place buildings
β’ Place trees or objects
Reality check:
β’ Terrain locks once you start building
β’ If you skip this β you rebuild everything later
βΈ»
Step 2: Envision the Town Before You Place Anything
Pause and actually picture it:
β’ Where is the center hub?
β’ Where do roads flow?
β’ Where are the βniceβ areas vs utility zones?
β’ Whatβs the elevation story?
If youβre just reacting as you goβyouβre not building, youβre guessing
PART 2
Step 3: Design the Layout Like a System
Pick a structure and commit:
Recommended:
β’ Circle or horseshoe layout
Add:
β’ 4 main roads (cardinal directions)
Why this matters:
β’ Clean movement
β’ Easy expansion
β’ Everything has a place
βΈ»
Step 4: Build Around Function, Not Resources
Your anchor:
Fast Travel Bell
Then:
β’ Place storage next to or across from it
Mindset shift:
β’ You are NOT building near resources
β’ You are building where it looks and flows best
Why:
β’ Fast travel removes distance problems
β’ Layout quality matters more than location
βΈ»
Step 5: Use a Foundation Grid (Think Like an Engineer)
Lay down:
β’ Pier floors as a base layer
This gives you:
β’ Alignment
β’ Structure
β’ Easy redesign
Youβre basically creating a blueprint before the building
PART 3
Step 6: Zone Your Town Intentionally
Donβt mix everything together
Structure it:
β’ Center / Low Ground
β’ High traffic
β’ Utility / basic buildings
β’ Outer / Elevated Areas
β’ Housing
β’ Advanced crafting
β’ Aesthetic builds
Progression should feel natural when you walk through it
βΈ»
Step 7: Use Elevation as a Design Tool
Flat = lazy
Instead:
β’ Center = flat, low
β’ Outer areas = raised
Build in layers:
β’ Terraces
β’ Steps
β’ Gradual height increases
Goal:
β’ Visual depth
β’ Clear hierarchy of importance
PART 4
Step 8: Place Structures with Intent
Every placement should answer:
β’ Does this align with the road?
β’ Does the entrance face the right direction?
β’ Does it make movement easier?
Rules:
β’ Left side buildings β entrances on left
β’ Right side β entrances on right
β’ Near center β face inward or toward main roads
If it feels awkward to walkβitβs wrong
βΈ»
Step 9: Engineer Flow, Not Just Looks
A good town:
β’ Moves fast
β’ Feels natural
β’ Doesnβt waste your time
Test it:
β’ Spawn in β can you move cleanly?
β’ Dump resources quickly?
β’ Reach key buildings without zig-zagging?
If notβfix the layout, not the symptoms
PART 5 (FINAL)
Step 10: The Hard Truth
If you build before you plan, youβre not buildingβyouβre creating future problems
βΈ»
Quick Rules (Burn These In)
β’ Terraform first, always
β’ Build where it looks rightβnot where resources are
β’ Use fast travel to solve distance
β’ Plan layout before placing anything
β’ Use elevation for structure and aesthetics
β’ Roads and flow matter more than decoration
βΈ»
Bottom Line
Anyone can stack buildings
Very few people design a town that feels right
You want:
β’ Clean flow
β’ Smart layout
β’ Strong visual structure
That comes from planning and engineering upfront, not fixing mistakes later
is this moded?
If you want examples message me I donβt mind helping people enjoy the game and building aspect more
cool
Dude Im missing rugs I need to find them
Now that u mention it, i still need those too π€―
Just when i thought i was done lol
Is this enough turrets to stop groot?
Can we see your town layout?
Sure .. Iβm at the daughters roller skating , and by the time I get back this will be long forgotten with non -creative posts but Iβll message ya
Found this cove area and it's convenient to all the factions, has different plants and animals than the surrounding islands, and is on the border of Blackbeard & Smuggler waters. Can't wait to build a town around the cove
But the key aspect Iβm trying to offer .. mobs canβt harm dirt
w lighthouse or nah??
Nice!!!
The thing is I believe the pie chart layout that shows while placing the campfire is intended to help players organize their "construction site". We can cut each slice into 3 areas and arrange them from raw materials to semifabs to end products the closer we get to the centrum
they dont destroy buildings tho
I had another player explain they had been attacked and the wolf brought down a wall
Weather itβs real or not , I have tested dirt. And it seems safe
the devs said that they cant destroy your buildings nor can other npc pirates
It wasnβt my intentions- it was a side effect of leveling my manors garden
I also trapped the crabs and drowned with walls 20 minutes ago they didnt get out
ive had crocs destroy wooden things ive built so thats not entirely true
Sounds productive and organized - not much like an actual pirate/smuggler, etc town, but definitely a gamers paradise
Storehouse on port build pretty much done
gasssss
I wanna build a little city, so far this is how its going. I want it to be very detailed and i know it'll take alot of time but i enjoy every moment of it. Solid building mechanics, props to the devs.
Gj man
Would suggest some railings for the staircase and maybe partitions for the rack but other than that looks really nice
Damn that looks stylish
Yeah good point, my brain at this point is done for, been no life grinding this game with two buddies since Friday for approx. 10 hours a day. I believe we are close before the last boss.
53 hours in...
On hard difficulty mind you, momma raised no darn quitter.

I get u bro Ive been playing like 10 hours each of 3 last days, the last time I played this long was like at some point in 4th grade
Brilliant collection
cant wait to unlock all the blueprints
Looks very comfy
im more impressed by the amount of seeds youve gotten than the build itself π thats dedication right there
ok i see you guys with gator wall mounts and such. i thought me pushing 40hrs play time i was on alot but DAMN! lol\
My junior office made of basic stuff
still need a roof and other things, but it is coming along!
I am afraid my social life will end up at that point π
Storage racking I've been working on.
Thank you. Curently building a row of racking in the centre.
I also had some ideas on it
Im at the beggining nothing fancy but guys something about the crew singing is sooo nostalgic to me i feel like im home π π₯° .
You already managed to synthetize banana milkshake you're halfway through
Looks classy
Are those workbenches on the left as well?
behold. a fat lady version of george washington with heavy armor
George Washingstoned
Omg mosaic windows
Damn nice
Regarding the use - basically same you would do nowadays, maybe certain rooms for certain workshops
I don't have a lot, I don't even know how to properly reserve the space for future unlockables
Work in progress
Anyone know any good flat islands around level 10 sea that would be good for building
Here's the problem. I want to fit everything without meaningless gaps
They are randomly procedurally generated aren't they?
Oh dang they are? Are the only islands not random tortuga and other npc outposts?
I dunno man my Tortuga (bottom left corner) and the rest look like this
Oh cool okay so it is random. Alrighty thanks for the info!
βAhoy, mateys! Ruby Red be sayinβ hello!β
It's a shame that the character creation is a little limited atm. I wanted to make Luffy but the skin tone doesn't match the presets it gives and you can't get a wide square like jaw without the whole upper part getting wide too
Mostly, but there's a lot of islands that are always the same or about 90% the same
Like the three starter Islands look almost the same every time
Oh, so that is why my friend first spawned on a shore that looked somewhat similar to mine on the map
jesus!!!! lol i never thought of making a light house in a game with SHIPS! lol
Yeah, there's a handful of islands that are almost always the same, but most are PG
Anyone know if there's triangular Mahogany walls? So I can fill in the gaps at either side of these stairs?
a quick search shows no. its not in the game......YET
Thank you.
wouldn't bark wall fit in?
Err... not really. I'd rather have Mahogany, so it matches everything else.
work in progress
Damn, that do be fancy
how the heck do you guys do this? is this just 100 hrs of building or are you just architects in real life lol
Meanwhile me and my friend at the snackbar
work in progress
omg thats so cute lmao
It's giving Zoo concession stand vibes
Bouta get a zebra cup
I gotta play alot more and unlock stuff to get to that level. looks amazing !
but I am proud of my 'market stands'
if my game did not just crash I would have placed a screenie xD
lmao ive just been making it up as i go
This is what became of the snackbar xD
and i love how this oen turned out
How can I make a nice screenie without UI and stuff?
use / key
Are the devs making more ship types?
Recommendations; Thus far ive loved everything and most of these are mostly just small recommended changes or feedback. π
Burrito should need Tortillas to make. (and add more recipes that require to make basic items to craft the better ones)
I would also add somewhat of armor/weapon degration for more use of materials. (armor losing health overtime from getting hit, weapons losing health from use, tools as well)
SMALL ONE BUT HUGE lol,. Let our workers sit down. They seem to aimlessly wander the house looking for something to do, which is REALLY funny, but breaks the immersion a little. β€οΈ If I can think of anything else ill add to creative as well π
Slowly and steadily we are getting there lmao, the main bottleneck is decoration unlocks but we're chipping away at it
I spent 3,000 silver to buy 60 gold from the smugglers for the stained glass and mahogany stairs lmao
I'd also like to just grab an move things instead of break rebuild
why can't i build this?
it doesn't have anything under it
the whole thing is symmetrical and ive built around the rest of the structure just fine
what's really odd, is i can build here. but i can't then put one on top of that
stairs won't go either
and nudge it slightly?
i don't get it because i've built all the other sections just fine
I wonder if the pillar is the issue
snapping off isn't doing it either
try deleting the top of the pillar and using a stone block or something
they're on just as solid ground as the rest of them
once you complete the top you should be able to just rebuild the pillar under it
not working either
Wait can you put trading posts or merchants on island you claim or something I saw someone build a "snack Bar" looked cool
hmmm
even deleting the pillar completely is no good
that somehow you only hit with that one piece lmao
i am right on the edge of the beach? maybe the height limit right there is lower than the rest?
or no
Its the only thing left that makes any sense but honestly still doesn't fully because surely the other blocks literally right beside it should be too
I wonder
the only assymetrical anything is my stairs inside but kinda hard to try for a good picture without a 1st person
do you have any flat floor pieces unlocked
Finally after killing 200 crocs
so depending on how this game would calculate the height limit, I would assume it is by cell
ah
so there it is
that must be it i guess
it must somehow be a height limit
i'll try lowering it all by one block and make my pillars shorter
which doesn't really make sense given the rest of the build
First build coming along nicely :)
good luck, honestly if that doesn't work I have no idea what else it could possibly be
yeah that's it
i've found the height limit
it let me mostly place those
but now these last few stairs won't go π
that is really interesting
its not based on a set level above ground?????
apparently not
because if it were then half of that tower shouldn't have worked before this one random corner
because a different corner of the whole thing would be the one on lowest ground
that is so unbelievably weird
will it work if you lower by two then?
yeah that's what i gotta do i guess
Our latest build. π
woooow
I had a friend around to help gather resources. But I built it all. :3 I hope the manor house is pretty
Said friend, arriving into our port
bro it looks like a dev built town lmao
yeah
it works but i'm sad about it :(
oml
is there a way to glitch the pillars so you can at least get another half cell of height?
how're the ships gonna see the signal fire?? π
is there a way to do that? i have no idea how
Ah I haven't found a reliable way, early on I managed to find a way to noclip stone walls onto the palisades
But haven't been able to replicate it consistently
ahh those do look very cool though
The key is to get a block in glitch placement near where your trying to overlap the build
i guess i will just be roofless for now
so you can place a full block over half of another block and basically get two halfs lmao
if that makes sense
Gorgeous
So I've been thinking of a goofy Strength based alternative ranged weapon, I present the Swivel Gun.
The idea would be a longer reload time (maybe even require larger ammunition/more gunpowder)
Wildly inaccurate if moving.
Could have a fun running animation of having it along over the PC's shoulder.
Hang on I've got an idea tristyn
i'll try, but not holding out hope if this is some kind of height limit. thanks for helping me troubleshoot though lol
oh?
I think we can add another half length
might be the best you can get and keep the roof
on your right lower pillar, delete the stone block and stairs and leave it on the rest
then use no snap build mode to place one of those small flat wooden floors about halfway down the stone block beside the top of the pillar
then try placing a pillar beneath that wood floor connected into the rest of the pillar and see if you can make it noclip through half of the block
you mean like this?
YES
Now try the block and stairs
it might just be enough to make the roof viable lmao
if the height limit is by cell it should sneak right under it
well depending on where the hell the cells are or if that's even the system they're using lmao
its seeming like the height limit is very sensitive to i guess the x and z location if height is y
or i'm right on the edge of a cell or something
oh wait this corner is my northernmost corner
so that's the part that's confusing me if the limit was based on Y none of that would have worked unless it was a set Y value above ground
so maybe it is that
because north is the ocean
even though that exact location isn't the deepest corner
im sure you'll figure something out that looks cool
first house
your character looks like the monkey king lol
if the cells are something like that?
not your fault. appreciate the help!
I would assume they're smaller similar to minecraft which makes them the most obvious thanks to everything being square lmao
who thinks all the "elegant" style stuff looks like crap?
for a pirate game theres not a whole lot of incentive to build a base but i love building in these sorts of games but really wish there were more curved walls more wall styles, more just everything to make it feel less like im still stuck at level 2 when ive literally conquered the entire map and built 4 frigates
There are a lot of different types of walls, and if you mix certain stuff, you cat create some pretty unique structures.
from what im seeing, it looks like the highest tier walls are mahogany atm and they look like a chocolate bar standing upright
if thats what "elegant" is supposed to be, im sorry but chocolate walls do not make me enthused
Mahogany was pretty high tier for the era, and you don't have to use strictly the Mahogany, either
I've seen people use it as baseboards, bell lines and stuff like that
I know, but im saying if i want to use the lesser tier stuff it looks even WORSE
id say the only semi decent looking walls are the plaster and the limestone
I really like the fine stone walls, the bark walls, and the regular wooden walls
Limestone looks good as well, yes.
which are the only stone walls? other than loose stone and loose stone with timber
yet we have 12 wooden walls
the biggest issue im having is the lack of curved walls. Everything is extremely boxy
Little by little, ideas take shape. π
+.39658*2047/6666=-]
Well it aint finished but my compound is coming along, the plaster walls are stand ins for now until i decide which walls im using for my house.
She is so beautiful
using capital as lectern in our cool church
sweet, reminds me of fort charles from POTCO
I was definitely going for a fort like vibe!
Beginning of something beautiful.
The sheer scale of these continues to awe. I just wish there was a camera mode lol
View from the other tower. Note the copper mine to the east on the minimap. Just outside of bonfire range and absolutely loaded
level 33 comfort. 100% completed. max gear & factions. + crocodile statues, ship bottles, and demo spyglass π 11/10 game
How does everyone have rapier of a thousand cuts but me and Iβm just getting into swamp π€£
We got ours from the foothills
yet to find one, congrats dude
Yeah, I've seen a few people with that flamethrowing blunderbuss but we ain't found it yet
If I find one before you Iβll trade you recipeβs!
Max comfort is 35 I believe
idk what im missing ik tho
i legit have every trophy
I wouldn't know how to trade. xD
Increase your field of view in Video settings.. Then hit the / key to hide the Hud for a moment..
Wouldnβt be able to tell you I barely got to area 3,
Nice, that's a great style. I don't know why the eyes in this game bother me so much lol
the feel too big or something
I did choose like the softest face type so they're probably rounder than usual.
Oh it's not just your character, even the NPCs eyes bother me
Game gives me a Brink vibe, to be sure.
thoughts... this was really hard
Pirates of the Caribbean online back in the day?
yes sir
I grew up on that game haha did privateer everyday name was Sam Redburn with the guild shadow blood and others. Love the design
Tortuga church!
so turns out u can blow ur own stuff up with a cannon
Ahoy, ye scurvy dogs! Drop anchor and strike the colors, for today we ain't chasin' goldβweβre chasin' the Green Flash!
By order of the Captain, the only thing gettin' lit today is the Devilβs Lettuce. Stow yer cutlasses and break out the long-pipes; weβre tradin' the high seas for the high life. I want to see a fog thicker than a London morning rollin' off this deck until the crow's nest feels like itβs touchin' the moon.
Any man caught workin' will be forced to eat the ship's crackers dry! Now, spark 'em up and let the munchies be the only battle we fight 'til sunset. Steady as she blows, mates... mostly blows! https://www.Twitch.tv/RiikenTenkashie
Potco was an amazing game.
Good to see others from back in the day here. Hopefully we ran across each other at one point
Sent you a friend request. π
its just called pirates online now
Wow nice job! Curious to see the interior!
thats it lol its just a window showing the warf
you can place all plants underwater (for those that needs the fertile soil you have to put that one down there too) .. same for trees and the decoration flowers with their pots. Lights just can go down in the sea too if needed. Lets see some more cozy shoreline and ignore the saltwater π
would anyone be willing to help me build or at least brainstorm a port idea i have? I was inspired to build a port on an oddly shaped island ad want to make a port named after the hammerhead shark
i at least would like some tips and tricks
just got this game and am having a blast
someday I'll finish this....
Why does it look like you're building the battleship board game
lol, guess it kind of does look like that now that I think about it
plan is for the piers to be covered with wall-pieces, none of the wood would be visible
And as for the height, wanted it tall enough for ships to go through
Phase 2 of Fortress compound complete
i cant even imagine the FPS π
Actually pretty stable. Lowest I get is 80, but it's more often above that
Only higher dips are when in build mode, but even that is just when placing an object and only for a split second.
80 fps without frame gen?
I do have DLSS set to quality, but native resolution is 4k.
Yeah, no FrameGen though.
Just the upscaler.
then i place 3 torches and all my FPS goes away like the wind π
My specs however would be a 5090 with a 9950x3d, but a friend of mine joined my game to test out their FPS, they had a solid 60.
They have a 3060 iirc
I wish the game was a little more optimised than it is lol UE5 is heavy but damn π devs please i beg
They are using it pretty well from what I noticed.
Seems they're using Nanite which is saving a lot of perf.
Lumen tends to be the real heavy hitter for most people, but is being offset somewhat.
What are your specs?
Yeah i mean from the 4 friends in our group only 1 of us can run it stable at 60fps all the time. The recommended system requirements for this game is a little high
btw π
things start chucking when your town starts getting busy with NPCs and buildings and stuff. I get a sudden studder for like a split second, and then everything's smooth again. Imagine having to fight in your town..
is it? Ngl my Steam Deck runs the game at 40-60fps
I get same studder only when I get die screen
you probably don't have a castle which is decorated xD but the fact i've built crazier things in DayZ, Rust or other survival games and never had to use frame gen software to help is a little wild
Now that I think of it, the studder happens when I open and then close one of our storehouse crates. Might be a UI thing.
Might be, but for me itβs only when I die, otherwise I have no problem
I kinda think RAM is the thing
I heard most ppl have 32 and have this problem
currently learning about structurally sound basic construction
And I have 64 and no problem at all
the game is not optimized to the best ability, Im expecting them in the coming weeks/months to actually change hardware/graphic optimizations
Looks like the game is currently using 19GB of RAM for me.
Though overall I have about 40GB being used.
Another 10GB is being used of my VRAM.
Not fully Done
Well Idk, I donβt use any frame gens, Iβm on epic graphics, with maxed upscale on 1920x1080 and the lowest fps I had was like 67 and most of the time I donβt get below 80
You mean Performance or Quality for upscaling?
Yea full on quality
That's weird.
All it does is just similar any other upscaler, just rendering at a lower resolution and improving the image itself
Yea but I think you have you use whatβs your video card works best with
And Iβm with 4070 for now and dlss is not working good at all
Had the same problem with crimson dessert and it was unplayable
Oh I do have a large port town, but the games you listed are VERY old so that's not surprising.
Hell, in Valheim you can't get many instances without lagging, so this game seems generous
I'm used to having to severely limit my builds lol
valheim is the opposite for me, I get insane FPS and never stutter or lag. It really doesn't matter how new the game is, I understand newer games have more demand but just looking at a torch and it drops frames a considerable amount compared to other games is a show of lack of optimization. I shouldnt need to have the best PC in the world to run a basic survival pirate sim, The games graphics and assets are not fully performance matched. But like i said it will take them some time
I think most of the problems with games nowadays are the whole lightning, I have dev friends and they say the same thing, itβs either having hell of lightning noise or huge performance drops
Exactly the issue, The game models themself are fine, But the lighting/rendering clearly has a substantial effect on hardware, By the way i am not the only person with this issue, Steam reviews and in the discord there are similar conversations π
Most ppl just set lightning effect on lowest but
The engine is making most of these problems
Is the game in general poorly optimized when you have a lot of builds and stuff? I feel like the game drops about 50fps sometimes when im in my base
Nice parking! π
i can build pretty crazy without heavy drops, but when i add anything with light or fire, it tanks
the only half-second stutter I sometimes have is when I turn away from a crafting station
The town is coming along nicely. The grind for materials is sweaty tough. Even with the vendors.
have to wait with heavy construction like in the demo for my new rig to be complete. At the end of demo as the town was halfway done, i had setting all to low and 50% upscale to still have like 20 frames, while it started with native resolution and all medium on a clean island.
how are you doing your roof overhangs is that one past with half arches cant tell
things like this are my current obstacle :/
need a patch or a mod
I usually use this on the edge of the wall.
Sometimes, I go over the top of the wall with half of the roofblock.
Like so
ah i see i dont have that unlocked yet ty
you can add the little floor of mahogany on the outside and pace the roof on that one also
or any other little floor
This also works quite nicely!
There is few different methods of doing it. π
had 400h in demo to test stuff π
wow here i am doing overhang like in valheim by placing alignment beams
The only part that bugs me out, is this roof piece. It will leave a tiny gap between the wall and the roof. Its annoying also that there is only these pieces of the 13 degree angles.
started a build here just for the view
no way to put floors over foundation?
use the other foundation and place floor first - foundation later maybe ?
ive been doing perimiter foundation and filling with floor
you see the green foundation below if you can place them
also saves me a ton of stone
that works but it doesn't snap
just built a canon workshop?(idk what they called) and a little plaza connected to the harbormaster building
building on a rock so space is very limited
but you can snap the upper pillars etc on the foundationstones throu the floor
looks nice π
still too early to say if i bulldoze it or it may look great π
AYOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
crazy build man
love it
removed all straw and rebuild with the good old wodden ramp (planks) and will close the gaps the ramps have from the inside with the straw pieces i guess
tnx π
atm trying to plant trees near enough to look like they grew while the house was standing there and leaning at it and still far enoug away so i can cover what piece of them may be visible inside
One of my faves so far, Don't bulldoze - just build more next to it π
other option would be little pieces of fertile soil and getting things like the beans on large pieces of the housewall
rest of the fertile soil would have to be hidden inside the house again π
how do you unlock these structures for building?
what structures? you play the EA and you discover more and more of the blueprints - and later on the factions have a tone of them that you can buy
i mean the house structures. it looks so awesome. i only got one type of stone only to build from
used the clay-walls and placed the wooden beams on it .. thats more or less it if you mean those
ohh, thanks, i don't have the clay walls yet
if you want to do anything - pillars and beams are your friend ... build a scaffolding of a ship house plane tank ..
and will with whatever walls you allready have π
1st harvest from the greenhouse π
Imposter
Hmm okay, i might try to remove alot of the torches then haha
Might have been asked before but is there a way to color the plaster? If that's a later drop then no spoilers please Oo
Photo dump of the 6 hour build!
jeeezus :D thats impressive :O
Thank you!!
Building a second base
Let's start with the center square
has anyone made a tavern? is there like a bar type furniture in game?
π±
just what me and a friend have done after a few days of playing, we arent actually very creative at all, and in other similar games, our bases were always just cubes with everything crammed in, so this is actually a really cool step up for us
this is the coolest thing I ever see in this game
Working on a lighthouse/watch tower build (not sure yet)
The building in this game is pretty damn fun π
Cannon in the bedroom for when the wife's lover shows up? π Seriously though, nice build.
I remember seeing some in the thread over the weekend, just search for taven in this channel π
One of the more detailed ones: #π¨βcreative message
I was thinking a small arena π
reminds me that i wanted to do a colloseum with doors to let the boars and dodos and undead out π the new arches and stairs call for it
I've never been especially good at the crafting element of survival games, but I'm kind of pleased with this concept for an old Spanish mission lost either to time or violence now serving as the base for a displaced pirate captain and his crew.
Don't care how hard it is going to be to fill that outer circle, I finally got that central circle to look nice and that's all that matters to me right now

I'm at work trawling Pinterest for old Spanish/Carribean towns to get inspiration for when I get home. I found a perfect island that circles around so you have one narrow sea entry. I put a light brazier at each of the "ends" - eventually they will develop into lighthouses, maybe even some sort of battlement. And then my dock and main house at the deepest part of that lagune. Planning on expanding with more specialised houses, smithy (weapons/armor), shops with the vendors, etc. Wish I had a screenshot handy right now π
I'd say you nailed it pretty well π Nice touch with the "broken" parts.
you can tame pigs?:O
quest reward
You'll find it at this location; there's an altar where you need to make an offering.
In the distance, you'll see something like that; that means you've found the right place.
witchcraft!!!
Think I figured out how to fill that outer sircle too:
When I curve my builds it always looks so messy
love that center piece you did
You can use the wooden triangles to build perfect circles. Hopefully they will add more triangles in future to match all the tile sets.
Tbh I think it still looks really cool, but yeah would be nice
My Maggie-May
Hello friends! I've been really looking forward to building a nice base, but im missing a good spot. I want to build fairly inland (meaning not on sand) but all islands I've found aren't flat enough or have weird POIs in the way. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good island?
Finally done! Time to make a market square... circle. Market circle.
Will probably have to plant some trees and bushes to the coastline to make it look better...
my little traditional style spanish villa
All islands are randomly generated sooooo
Oh i didn't know that. Thanks!
Damn that makes me wanna make my Churches front doors jut out a bit too. Looks nicr
found a Island for a perfect base build, first city and then a massive fort for protection at the entrance
city here
fort on the other side
show me how ur church looks
idea how to turn Charcoal Kiln, Kamp fire and Smelting furnace into smth more immersive
I also had that idea in mind for the future, thank you for sharing! Looks nice
it just didnt fit anywhere to look half decent so hiding it was the best idea, making it look like smith corner
same with kitchen
I was just browsing Pinterest for old medieval smithys for inspiration on how to do it with those. Already made a simple fireplace/chimney for my campfire, so I have some rough ideas.
That's actually a great idea with the cutting table π
canon work station as well
I found this that I am pondering combining into a smithy (bottom level open/outdoor smithy) and the connecting building being large storage.
uuu, I'll save that
I have a town to build, running out of ideas
after than, fort
i found this build on YT, copied it
I was never good at that, so I'm trawling Pinterest right now while at work π I have a rough idea for my horseshoe island now though. sea entrance with two light towers, some battlements and then grow the town out from my main player house at the back of the lagoon.
A fort you say? π
lol server fps gonna go 2 if u actually build that
I found that ships actually lower my FPS
i have 4 ships parked at the harbor, tho it looks amazing, fps drops a lot
what about frigate vs frigate boarding that also lowers my fps
yeah got it a frigate went for blackbeard variant sure u aint tanky but nobody surviving ur 36 and 24 pound canons lmao
I have a plan but i need to get to the quest where i can adnace to farm the materials for it
yeah for hardwood
i think trees at the swamps
I still have the first one, though I have bought the plans for the others. But all my materials go into town building right now. My starter ship works pretty well with all the upgrades, so I'm not too fussed about that π
I'd go for Brig
suntrip ur doing it the wrong way around ship is priority why u might ask? basically inf money by boarding i can make 3-4k coins in like 15 mins in lvl 15 waters and then order materials online especially hardwood
Reputation wise I am already at 4 with all, just from my battles so far. Fighting up to level 10 ships without too much hassle. But yeah, upgrading to a bigger boat/guns might help on the income side. For now I'm just having fun with what I can deal with π Not rushing the game. I'm level 9 atm, still have to unlock Swamp.
id still go for Brig, amazing ship, lots of canons
have 3 ships of different classes parked, beauitufl
But you're right regarding resources. I haven't cut down a tree in ages π At least not for wood. Finding ship remains and barrels at see give a ton.
I'll have a look at the brig when I get home π Just about half an hour left at work.
The pretty view from my door step
CAn the boundary around the bonfire become bigger to be able to build a larger base/ camp?
build a second bonfire
I had thought of doing, that but wasn't sure. Thanks for confirming.
It would be nice if when you built a second bonfire it extended your circle
you will have a small gap but it only effects some decorations and work benches
you can still build
Hey guys, what if we shared our captains? π
whats this ship?
beautiful
I build my character after Big Mom, name is same
Does anyone know if they have plans to lower the rotation snapping?
Below the 15Β°?
Yes
I don't think so
could be nice imagine what you could make with 1 degree
Im not really able to make a market stall around this circle without it looking wierd
yeah circles arenβt easy
Consider that design as stolen, yarr
haha no worries
Btw, anyone have a good design for market stalls?
btw, one thing that can change everything is pillars, you can build em around stuff to make em look better, if need an example i can show you some ideas
they really do
Hiπ₯π₯π₯ It would be good to have
