Yea I've been using the mace because I noticed it does a lot of posture damage. And sniping with a musket. Debating sinking points into uh...agility I think just to get musket damage up.

Of those two, rapier is strong against single targets, saber is slightly less but lets you hit several targets. Also, rapier shares the precision stat with pistols and muskets while saber shares agility with blunderbusses, so your choice of ranged weapon also matters.

You have to physically be on one of the boats however for it to count if I remember correctly

Question. Has anyone every suffered from increasing lag or other issues based off of overall building? This game seems very free from that kind of thing, but in recent times I lost an over 100 hour Icarus save, with nearly full progress, due to having gotten a bit overzealous with my building.

I'm not doing anything crazy in my game, but I find myself building a little more each time I go into one of these ruin sites. I don't want to suddenly lose my game due to doing this to progress through them, and hitting some building cap that locks my game down.

The floor panels also serve double duty, since enemies are unable to jump in the slightest. If you set them ever so slightly off the floor, enemies get blocked by them yet aren't able to hit them (at least that I've seen). It works really well.

I actually spend a little too much time making my iron mines (those sloped pit ones) 'safe' to work in with railing and walls to keep those goats out (not that you can since they spawn out of thin air).

Just don't toss a bonfire in a mine, or it can scuff up the respawn pretty bad.
You... COULD toss a bonfire down to put wall torches on the walls instead of standing torches, then remove the bonfire, but that's more work for no real gain.

How badly does the bonfire affect mines? I only seem to notice it fuggn up the Ancient Metal Scrap nodes in the swamp biome.

I have never personally done it, but I've seen other people yap about it and get like 40% to absolutely 0% respawn after literal days of waiting. So I don't wanna chance it myself.
I did it at the silver bar undead shipwreck and it completely scuffed most of that respawn.
I just lay down a whole mess of waist high stone fences to trap goats then poke them with a greatsword.

Two!? Huh. I don’t think I’ve seen that before. I’ve seen some where there’s lots of ore above and along the walls heading down and into some of the passages but I never seen like two roof openings before.

I haven't logged in the game in like... two or three days now... So have one picture of the 'shadow realm' after hoping up through the ceiling, and into the gap between the outside of the mountain and the inside of the mine.
The second entrance/exit is smaller than the first one, so you can use it to get back into the normal mine by falling through it, but I can't really see making a staircase to use it to get out of the mine.

personally i have always favored dot builds pretty much all games i can do that

It's not about the healing, its about them dying slowly as you poke them to keep them at a distance.

If you run and do a single stab once in a while in their direction, they basically impale themselves until they bleed to death. Itr super easy when you're not good at parrying and all the rest. Even the most basic melee person can run and jab once in a while.

The thousand cuts was better in the Demo because when a mob died with it, it would push those five stacks to another mob nearby. But it's got very low base damage, so it takes a long time for it to rev up.
You can usually just beat things to death quicker manually instead of poke and run.

It also is completely useless for breaking poise, so there's that too.

But that's just up to a person's style of fighting.

Unless you can also go directly to the swamp, you can't make the frigate right off. You need tar, which is only in the swamp, and which you need to beat two bosses first to access.

Only issue with that build is it takes FOREVER to kill mobs. If you want a solid tank build, you should use what I'm running.

I run plauge halberd, using the special to keep health topped off, with full conquistador. With accessories and perks, I can tank mobs without ever being interrupted from attacks. Most mobs at level 15 it's 4ish hits to kill. As a secondary I run the dragons breath, bc it 1 hits nearly everything and has a 60% chance to do damage to surrounding enemies. Honestly a very OP weapon.

Way more DPS than the build in the video and still super tanky.

i tried halbard i could'nt really make it work, pigs kept killing me
