i believe its imperative to push out the abiliy to acquire and use tier 2 resources asap. so you can get the good wood, ingots for decorations, linen for a lot of things you will want to build etc. In saying that, by the time you get too this point you shouldnt be struggling to make Silver and then you can buy through the merchants stalls (you can buy their contracts in tortuga) you can buy in materials you need in mass.

the only point on making a resource world is to farm the swamp plague tree materials. the rest before swamp can be bought through vendors which you can buiult more than 1 of the same vendor if you need more delivered to you at the same time

Rum is used in the creation of Grog, which you use while shipboard to apply buffs to your ship. I think it's also used to make a few potions.

IMO, Len's Island has the best UI/UX for this genre of game. Your inventory is perma sorted (with tabs) like shown. Then there's a similar screen per base, and the capacity is the sum of all the storage stuff you've built there. It's just so clean, tidy, and easy to use.

If you buy the graham cracker crusts, it'll fill 2 of the smaller(I think they're 8 inches) ones. You can make the crust yourself, but it's kind of a pain in the butt, so that's the one thing I don't bother doing. But if for some reason you want to, it's just smashed graham crackers, melted butter, and sometimes a bit of sugar. you mix it up and then press it into the pie pan and bake it for like 5-10 minutes til it hardens

Yeah, about that whole thing... I went to update my base with fancy new flooring(and everything else, really), but then I found out quickly that to do that I'd have to destroy the floors already there, and because the storage crates are on the floors, they'd be destroyed too. So I gave up on that. Then I was like "well, i could at least make the roof something fancier than thatch." But no, I couldn't do that either because the new roof pieces are a different angle...

I'm all for having more options like different angled roofs, but is there a particular reason why we can't have the fancy roof in the same angle as the thatch oness so stuff just fits?

It won't fight WELL, but it'll take agro off of you, which helps you not get so overwhelmed against multiple enemies. It lasts for a few minutes and then goes away if it's not killed first, but the cooldown for it is short. you can pretty much have it with you all the time if you keep it alive

I was looking at ascending the devastator 24lb cannons, and noticed that the range and accuracy go from A To B, which confuses me. Isn't A better than B? Which would make this a downgrade?
