Not really. To make a raidable enemy base all you need is some buildings with hitpoints. Them firing back is optional but also a far cry from implementing placing defenses yourself, providing a UI for them, making sure it is balanced to defend your base, providing ways to repair your base etc etc

yes, in bulk, but you need to wait 70 minutes, so its usually faster to just go and pick some up yourself, because its not often you need that much

though if you plan ahead you can just order as spare for when you need, or do something else while waiting on delivery

The only gripe I have realistically is every enemy feels like a mini boss unless you are severely over leveled, I have all lvl 10 gear and my character lever is 10, and even when fighting multiple lvl 7 sailors you pretty much have to cheese is by running away to constantly make it a 1v1 which feels cheap. Every single enemy shouldn’t have some ridiculous attack pattern that you have to learn, and this becomes pretty hard to keep up with when there are 3+ enemies around you. Mini bosses and bosses should feel really hard (and they are) but random enemies at outposts or POIs shouldn’t feel identical to that

I could not kill Mr. Hands with the halberd. Since there was no perfect parry, he kept his shields forever. I had to go agility/greatsword myself. Other people went with sabers or rapiers.

A blackbeard Frigate can take 36 or 24 lb cannons in the primary one, and 24 or 12 pounds in the secondary one. You'll want the bigger cannons for each spot. So... to answer, 36 would be best. And then a new 24 pounder for that secondary.

yea one can dig only a little down and raise so much till it caps out.
what i tried is raise the ground but the island goes up a little as is. the raised part goes (to have a number) 4 meters up and it takes the shape if the island into count meaning the slope will remain no mater what (its why i called it trickery before*)

These are some of the things we think would be nice to have in the game. I am posting here just for some feedback from all of you because I can guarantee you have been playing it more than we have (we started monday of last week).

Have customisable storage labels.
Parrots that are customisable.
More customisation of the player character.
Buy drinks at the bar and mess around while drunk (see Red Dead for that).
Have the compass match the way the character is facing.
Stop the character from drowning so easily. That doesn't happen in real life. I'm not saying a player should be able to swim between islands, but swimming from the end of your dock should be easily doable.
Automatically turn the lights of during the day, while allowing them to be switched on manually.

We're you on one of the missions with a boat? If so they only stop respawning when you're on the boat.

For some reason the devs made it so you can't kill them all from your boat for those quests.

There was a thread in bug report where a dev said the infinite respawning was intended until you got on the boat yourself.

How I've gotten around this as a musket user is just running in and getting the quest stuff and leaving before the mobs killed me

Yeah the biggest two things that killed that game from my POV, as someone with 180 hours in it was.

1. Not geolocking servers and allowing Chinese players into US west servers which screwed the PVP balance because they were awake and did PVP actions when most of the NA players were asleep.

2. Their decision to completely upend the crafting system and tie it to player level rather than material level. Along with some other crafting changes.

There were a whole bunch of little changes but those two changes were the biggest nails in the coffin and what caused me to leave, along with every friend I played with.

Patience is key, and a lot of stamina and regen (both potions and bandages) just in case you misstep. Destroy the bubbles so he loses all posture points, then attack. Dodging to the sides without using auto target was best for me. Bring a pistol, maybe the one with double or triple shot to help out destroying the bubbles on his back

Devs have commented that wind is on their radar and the only reason it isn't in yet is becauss they couldn't get it working right in time for EA

Space Engineers has been releasing paid DLC with cosmetic only blocks for years and they're doing great. Those DLC fund further development of the game and free updates to the main game.
