Every faction HQ has like a NpC that buys stuff called "Buyer" They buy certain goodies depending on faction. One of actions buys animal heads that you get sometimes from killing boar/dodo bird/etc.

It truly depends on what type of weapons you enjoy the most. Some factions have armorset blueprints that may be suited to your chosen weapon like extra one-handed damage or one that improves gun damage

These are actually procedurally generated maps, which I didn't think they were and only the biome stuff. But I get it now. Its all parameterized, which means various locations have a set of things they need to meet. So they'll look similar. Stuff however will and can spawn in different locations

generally best way is approach enemy ship from behind, fire frontal cannons, then try to face your sides so u can fire those cannons while front cannons are reloading. The reloading is very long so gotta use general naval tactics

I feel like the ATK stat itself is just added onto the other number. ATK stat is based on how upgraded it is. The other number is a base stat based on the weapon itself and is the number that gets affected by damage stats (strength, etc depending on weapon scaling type)

I'm so confused. I've travelled all the way to Tortuga and have absolutely no idea what I'm supposed to be doing. No quest marker or anything. My quest log just says to head there, but doesn't give me any indication of what to do. Also, I have sunk about 8 of blackbears ships now and the quest to sink 3 of them still hasn't updated.

depends on their level, i have like 30 intermediate repairs from just playing and killing things. repairs come easily. i took on 8 level 3 ships and won without much trouble, and i had green weapons and hull.

see, I first thought it was simply UE5 being wonky.... but then i was told the ships are a major resource drag, so, we tried to test it and the server literally crapped its self when we summoned the 6 brigs we had....

Ships 100% are gonna destroy performance; UE5 isnt really cpu heavy past the fact it doesnt multi-thread well by default. Its more so RAM heavy with how its GC handling works

You can run a UE5 game on a 512mb container if you really want to - it just runs horribly 🤣
