For the people putting question mark: some builders were using creative mode. Then you had solo builders going up against teams of four. On top of that, someone could spend just one hour on a build, but if they have a community to vote for them, your 50+ hour super build would still lose.

I think this building competition was fantastic because It showcased theres a lot of people who are insanely talented at building in the game already. 190 enteries they said! Thats huge for a new game with onyl a demo out! Just wait until the early access release where we can get our hands on more items to use! It's gonna be amazing!

I don't think a modern battle cruiser is neither practical, nor thematic, but the criteria only applies to the dev's pick. The public vote was always about the bigger zerg of followers. I think the devs are doing a great job rn. They've made an incredible game and its just a demo! My father and I have bonded greatly over the adventure and fun this game has to offer. This especially means a lot because he has NEVER liked open world adventure or resource games; however they've always been my favorite. This game has every aspect ive always dreamed of having in this type of game and more.

As for what should be added? I trust the devs fully to flesh out their vision and continue on the path they're on. I just cant wait to get more of this game!

I’m not too hung up about not winning. Mine had a lot of problems during construction. Many game issues too and time restraints.

I always name mine the ‘Ragamuffin’ and it’s the same as the ship in ‘the shores of botany bay’ shanty.

The story is when I was part of URNU, I was sat next to one of the P2000 captains during a mess dinner at HMS Nelson and one of the shanties sung was ‘The shores of Botany Bay’. For those that have heard the shanty will know one of the lines is “the good ship Ragamuffin” and when that line was sung at the dinner, our captain (quite drunkenly) shouted “MUFFIN!” And it made me laugh. Tis a good memory.

The feedback is for users to give their thoughts, and i think users should read and look to see if what they are going to suggest is already there or not but ofc not everyone will take the time to do that

Perhaps a mod or another member of the team may do so in the future if they feel inclined to do so

I gotta say a classic man o war type vessel. The point of western naval vessels was as mobile gun platforms to destroy the enemy with range. Turtle ships were mobile fighting platforms that would allow swathes of infantry to board and engage in traditional foot warfare. A turtle ships against a traditional French 2nd rate would be eviscerated before it could get close enough to board
