I dont get the hate around the Conny. Its medium pen, has 100 rounds (not including armor passives that increase ammo) and accurate at long range. If one can hit their headshots its unironically great.

Better yet it has a bayonet that has medium pen too. If you get caught reloading one can easily throw hands with the weapon itself.

The Conny is great and I will never hear naysayers trash it

Made a little firing practice range for my crew.
Boars, IRL and ingame, are not to be trifled with. So practicing shooting them is good.

The shack on left is for my crew. The right is mine and interior workshop. Plus a little communal drinking and eating spot round the fire.

Some dude sent me a DM saying his friend hated the demo and gave it thumbs down with biggest complaint being bad performance, freezing etc. I told the one who DM'd me to let em know about the bonfire freezing effect. It temporary freezes the game when you try to interact with it. Turns out that was their main and only performance complaint at the time lol. For me, just picking up too many rocks on ground etc stuff like that makes my performance dip for a bit other than that bonfire temp freeze.

uhhh. if it's the same building im thinking of, and is normally surrounded by boars. look inside the ruins. there will be a stack of crates that actually make up a wall. destroy those. it'll look like a small empty room but on the wall there's a stone button you can press.

@subtle blade Yeah. Hope they can make it so. Pvp cheating and toxic players are ruining the pvp experience. Companys focus more on PVE today. And a pirate game like windrose with PVE only and 100+ players per server will defenetley bring people togheter whitout the stress of gearing like hell etc as in pvp. This game has potentiall but the question is. If they make the game with more than 4 player co op, question is will they only have 10 player co op or some low population. Will only be really GOOD if they have several hundreds per server. Otherwise the game will satisfy one type of player but removes a whole lot of other types.

People are going to put money in even if its 4 player co-op on EA if the release is as good as the demo, it isn't a game that needs 100 player pve servers, especially some of the toxic things players on ark used to do on pve. It also doesn't need pvp, for people to cry about getting killed by a cheater after crying for pvp.

Most games like this majority play pve with friends.

The devs only need to sell it once.

Then they decide if they want to offer additional content for more cash flow, or move on to another project.

It will survive just fine, Valheim, Return to Moria, Enshrouded have all done extremely well. I have played all those and see Windrose doing far better as the nailed the pirate feel to the game. I am thrilled their numbers are not large - I'll be very happy with 4 to 12 easily.

@granite oxide yes it can survive well. But how much more if they put effort in a much larger player base per server. Then its more compelling to buy skins etc to show of to other players. I mean skins and other things that is bought is not only bought for your solo play 🙂

@tawny plover Well if they add function like that and have 100+ players per server i guess they need to use fixed places were players can build on. otherwise it can end up u dont have so much space left to build on . like the mods in valheim(if u want to be close to other players)

You are assuming there will be a shop full of skins and content. Perhaps the dev's will just include it in the game, who knows what that will be until it launches in EA, also We will not know what the numbers will be until EA. As we said, it is just the demo. It is what it is. Much will change between now and release. Happy to see them take more time for polish and excited to see where it goes.
