the game isnt perfect. there is a few issues with the game like not being able to differentiate between your crew and the enemy crew until you see there health bars so you end up poking your crew in the side with your rapier xD

The character and the world are separate. You can take an old character into a new world. Character progress is still tied to the character, so you wont be able to progress the quests again.

You can only craft 10 total, so depending on what the full game gives I don’t see it as too strong. I think it’s all shared as well, which would make it very well balanced. IF anything maybe lower the number to 8 or something. But I think it’s fine so long as the map compensates it.

I saw that many people really like the executioner, but after trying it, I think the Rapier of thousand Cuts is MUCH better. The parry window on the rapier is SO much better and makes figting much more enjoyable, rather than hit and run, you can actually stay in a 1v1 and and just destroy enemies, while against groups your still can do the hit and run and even make a massive bleed stack spread

Also hitting 1k+ damage is very satisfying

I'm exactly the same, it's EPIC passive is good for some crowd control / weakening + but you do need to be a little more dogde spammy.
But the DOT is better than any crit rate with the other weapons.

I'm gonna head down the strength weapon tree regardless, probably isnt meta but the perks you get in regards to survivability are amazing later on

i can see that, but in the end it will come down to personal preference, but the 1k dmg are basically done passively from the bleed, while you still hit for 150-200 dmg with each hit and doing 3 hits in the time you need to swing the executioner once^^

Idk man granted I feel as though survival games tend to charge far too much but I get it’s cause PvP and such. But this game charges too little, even considering it’s not PvP focused. I don’t think it needs to be ALOT more expensive, but at this rate I could build the best base in a week max lol there needs to be progression outside of crafting and it just doesn’t feel like building resources are caught up. Feels like they want it to be extra accessible so people can fully interact with the system before launch. (Which is a good thing)

Atlas and Ark were the same dev teams, its why they had same buggy code, so many same game mechanics. They couldn't agree on game focus so some left and made Atlas, rest did Ark - still one the buggest game codes ever made lol I did play both.

Not wrong! We had a lot of people come in here after the demo dropped complaining about no pvp. And few even tried to spam porn/DoSs the server in retaliation. Mods did an excellent job of shutting that down and blocking them from continuing to do it.

But point is there's valid complaints and then there's bogus complaints. Much easier to work through the bogus complaints if the product is good. What the devs have now is really good and a lot of potential!

They stress tested 20 players on internal test, and the mod group did a smaller test. So numbers are possible. but for stability and optimization for demo - it was set to 4. We and the Dev's at this point still do not know what the actual numbers will be on dedicated servers at this time.
