I doubt it. The map was an archipelago of some larger islands but mostly smaller ones dotted around. Even the larger islands weren’t really big enough to warrant a horse system when it was easily walkable to get to POI’s.

That being said it may be added should the devs decide to, but imo it’s unlikely.

it was easy enough to build curved buildings , the problem was there wasn't any 45% roof pieces so you got the wet effect in the building all the way to ground level.

easy enough fix , just need proper angled roof sections

there wasn't any 45's during the beta so i basically did square ones all the way around as they snapped to the walls ,but doing that left a small circular opening top center that let it rain into the lighthouse

there's a train somewhere where the closest seats to the doors are reserved for women , men are never permitted to sit in those seats , minor offense as a visitor but it gets you 30 days in jail.

I only know this because i'm ex navy and a buddy was stationed there and made that mistake , after this 30 days in jail , he was courtmashed by the navy , he retired as a chief bosun with red stripes on his uniform for that 1 mistake

its a small village train somewhere , there were no english instructions , he was on leave exploring the country when he was a e4 , he retired as e7 , red stripes ( for the navy anyway) at a certain point basically mean you weren't a 4.0 sailor , if you are a good sail, never cause any trouble , when you retire as enlisted you have gold stripes

it's quiet , dark when its not a full moon , on nights with no clouds you can see other solar systems and they are bright with no city lights to clutter the night sky, when the ocean is calm and smooth as glass it looks like you could walk on it

Whose idea was it to rebrand the game as ROSEWIND?

Not only has the community been following and spreading word about Crosswind with SO much media out there already, it's a far better name just marketing-wise, it's rolls off the tongue better, sounds better, sounds more like a pirate mixing cross bones and sailing winds... ROSEWIND sounds like a fragrat fart.

Still looking forward to the game, but unless there was a legal issue, I can't hep but think this move is facepalm worthy.

we dont know much yet, just that its been removed for now, focusing on pve and coop. i can see it being a server setting though, like how other survival games do it

The last we have hear don the topic of PvP is that it is shelved for now. The focus gameplay wise is aimed at a coop pve experience. However, that doesn’t mean PvP is gone forever, just for now and likely some time after full release there won’t be any PvP.

As Tiddles says above, with planned private server hosting it may very well be possible for someone to host a dedicated PvP server should the settings be available. All we can do is wait and see

I think the best option for that kind of gameplay in a game like this might honestly be to fight for mod support later on too, I say that because I personally don't like having to do those levels of immersion to make it from one landmass to another but I know others enjoy it so a way to give people the ability to opt in/out of systems like those is always something I'd help advocate for

If you've ever played the mobile game " The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt" they do a good job of implementing this (#💬│windrose-chat message) while keeping it very simple and easy to understand.
