Sea of thieves is far from perfect but it will always have a special place in my heart

The problem with SoT is, you level up your stuff and can customize your character to your liking. The customization is really cool and the gameplay (especially if you fight against other players) are good. IF both player are equal good.
They need to change how quests work big time (The pirate legend quests and the reapers quests were a good addition, yet too small) and need to give players more reasons to play the game.

We played the same map for over 6 years or something now... It's getting... Boring.

The update frequency of sot is WAY to slow...

But this is not the sot server, so enough of that. :3

Im gonna be honest while I agree that giving the active and invested people in discord keys would be a better choice as many have pointed out. We gotta remember the main method of getting access is via steam, a completely seperate program and platform. So while giving out keys in discord via giveaways and streamers works for small numbers, handing out 9 thousand access keys on a social platform one by one to avoid bots just isnt viable. Could you picture having to dm 9 thousand people one by one? Just not do-able. Even with bots because they tend to break

We don't know yet if they are allowing base building in the pvp area yet or not for raiding. - That's something we will have to wait on from the dev's for another time. But you cannot be raided on your personal island areas by players.

Hello, I want to report a bug, after creating my character and doing the tutorial I just got to the part after eating where they make you fight an NPC, well I quit in that part right in the middle of the fight for a personal reason I had to press alt f4 and quit, now I wanted to try it again but it bugged, I still got behind in the part where they make you eat but I don't have the food and the tutorial gives me the combat tutorial, attack block and target lock, when I go back in it tells me to keep moving forward, I talk to Doctor Galen but he doesn't give me the food, he tells me to continue moving forward but I can't move forward because the structure that breaks by itself when I eat doesn't break because I don't have food xD I'm stuck at the beginning help

I'm already here for the exploration and Biome unlock gameplay - But having actual raids on my base will be the icing on the cake. I absolutely love the PvE Raid System Conan has. You build and make progress and eventually PvE enemies attack your base so you need crew to defend it.

One the big things in the game will be base building to your hearts content with lot of deco, cosmetic kits n skins, etc to come later. I'm pretty sure that won't be raided. However there may be mechanics put into play later where your base gets hit like in Valheim and you have to set defenses up around your perimeter - that we don't know yet - but it sure would be cool. We don't know the extent of what they plan to do so will just have to wait and see what they cook up - Release isn't planned until the end of 2026. so there will be a lot more playtest.

I’m probably not the best to answer for base building ha I have good ideas but the execution usually doesn’t add up. I have enjoyed the ‘feel’ of it though and not come across situations like in Exiles where parts wouldn’t always stick.

I played the playtest and loved it, then I played at launch for 200 hours, i think its an amazing game

I think they slightly missed the mark with the deep desert and other end game content

But I think they can work it out eventually

Just had an update and unfortunately it looks like I wont be moving for at least another 2 weeks, so by proxy my plan to host community events for my 5 keys wont be going forward this time.

The reason for this is plainly because the test is 4 weeks long and events wont be happening until after half of that period, meaning no point because whoever gets them will only have about 2 weeks of playtime.

I'll be picking people over the next couple of days to receive one. Keep y'all posted
