Eh, not really. The issue is that the game is heavily reliant on CPU threads and cores, so something like a 4 core 8 thread would have a bit more trouble running the game than a 16 core 32 thread processor. Doubly so if the game is running on integrated graphics, as it takes a lot of the bandwidth away from the processor.

That’s not to say that RAM is not important. Having 8GB of RAM is sufficient enough to run the game, but the more, the merrier, and the speedier the RAM, the better. 🙂

We’ve been playing this game for over 6 months now, and we are still wondering when a real anti-cheat system will be implemented.
The number of cheaters is becoming alarming: XIM, Cronus, wallhacks — it’s seriously ruining the gameplay experience.

On top of that, the community can sometimes be very toxic, which makes things even worse.
I understand that the game is currently struggling and not working as intended, but without concrete actions against cheating, it’s becoming very hard to enjoy the game.

I understand your point of view, but I don’t agree.
Saying that cheating won’t improve because it’s expensive is basically accepting the problem instead of trying to solve it.

Many games have invested in anti-cheat solutions because letting cheating take over ends up costing even more in the long run: loss of players, bad reputation, and a toxic community.
No one expects a perfect solution, but concrete actions, even gradual ones, can already make a real difference.

That said, it’s just my point of view—everyone is free to think what they want.

AC systems aren’t resource heavy for development costs. It’s more about heuristics and efficiency. It does a great job at detecting malicious programs and preventing certain programs from running alongside the game. Ultimately, it’s like a game of whack-a-mole. If there is a program the system doesn’t think is a malicious program, the AC system will update by the devs, sometimes within hours.
