in general I hate DHs for what they've done to the game

1. THIRD agility-focused melee leather wearer with high mobility in a game where AGI specs were already evenly represented with STR specs before their introduction
2. warglaives are just swords that DHs have exclusive rights to - while being able to take 1h swords/axes/fists anyway
3. so little background content/foundation for them that they had 2 specs sharing 50% of the kit for 10 years, legit just "I wanna play Illidan" the class
4. basically killed any chance of Rogue getting any cool stuff, EVERYTHING that isn't a damage ability is something we had all the way back in MoP (everything added in Legion got taken away), meanwhile DHs took PvE Smoke Bomb-as-DR and Master Poisoner for themselves

like even Evoker is less of a blight on design space (though it still is very unnecessary with Shaman and Druid being in the game, and with rest of their aspects being a decent idea to shove into Mage instead)

In the latest Patch 12.0.7 build, loot from the new 1-boss raid Sporefall has been completely reworked.

The gear is now listed as “Sporefused”, has random secondary stats, doesn't seem like it can be upgraded, is no longer Warbound, and is now Bind on Pickup.

So I started doing M+ the first time since playing wow in midnight and slowly pushing "higher" keys (14+). In the earlier key levels, I tried to interrupt nearly everything I could but later on figured out that might be not optimal, because there a certain npcs who have a very important cast to interrupt and then my kick is not ready.
So my question is, should I hold my kick for these npcs especially or should I still go for as many kicks as possible in higher key levels ? There is also the problem of "overlapping" interrupts with other players, so I am trying be as "late" as possible

• The subtlety changes are def. something to get used too, but its still fun to play. It falls short on cleave and now kinda lacks priority damage in aoe.
• Outlaw is tuned high and does good consistent damage, but comes short when it comes to burst damage.
• I can't rly say what assasisantion's downsides are, potentially lower burst than subtlety and a diffrent cooldown timings. But it does cleave, aoe, funnel and execute well. The pure single target in keys is probably not great.
  (to be clear, comparing between rogue specs, e.g. all 3 don't do exceptional in cleave damage)

Is there a recommended way to level Rogue? This sounds like such a noob question, I know, but truly Rogue class & spec design is horrific while leveling. While other classes do also feel incomplete and do significantly less damage than at max level due to the missing Hero & Apex Talents, Rogue is the only one that truly feels gimped and inefficient to even play because of how Energy starved it is without the stats from high level gear. We're talking 2-3 globals every 10 seconds.

Subtlety is at least playable at low levels because it gets some big abilities at low levels: Shadow Dance for general damage and Shuriken Storm + Black Powder are viable for AOE.

Are there any tips to leveling a new Rogue these days? I feel like waiting for a Timewalking Dungeon event and just hoping I get carried in each one is probably the best route at this point.

Yes its slower and theres nothing that can really be done other than outside carries, but just enjoying the process makes the levelling bit a whole lot less painful

And yes im aware the suggestion is basically "just have fun" but it kinda is what it is

You just do /combatlog on entering the dungeon before the key. If you've got certain addons, they might be doing it for you. Then after the run is done, use the Archon app (I recommend the lightweight log uploader version) to upload it to Warcraft Logs. That should be all you need to do.

Assa is easy too. I wouldn't say there is a big difference in difficulty between sub and assa. Outlaw is imo somewhat more difficult, but it always depends on what gameplay you prefer. For some higher apm is hard, others have trouble with dot maintenance. Imo most Specs are "easy" nowadays.

its a bit of a cliche but if you are asking that question that means it wont matter currently what spec you choose since they all work decently

since the question indicates that you will be starting "from the ground up" and there you can play whatever. so my tip would be to try them all out and see what you like

ok science part one done: doing a bountiful delve t1 will give progress on the "feeding the nilhammer" even if y ou dont open the bountiful chest. but completing the delve does make it non-bountiful even if you dont use the key

getting 1/3 feeding the nilhammer on an alt does not upgrade your mains progress on the quest though

• getting 3/3 "feeding the nilhammer" on an alt does **not **update your mains progress on that quest
• completing "feeding the nilhammer" on an alt removes the quest on your main
• after your alt has completed "feeding the nilhammer", you can pick up "the ascendant nilhammer" on your main. that quest gives the free ascendant voidshard

conclusion: you can do the "feeding the nilhammer" on your alt without spending any delve keys and get 1 free voidshard (you need 5 of these for one upgrade) on your main! VICTORY!

but please note that "the ascendant nilhammer" is currently a **once-per-warband **quest, meaning only one character on your account can get the free voidshard. so make sure its your main if you care enough to minmax this!

with hard disks like that once you start losing sectors it's not something that ever gets better - my advice would be to manually transfer anything off of there you intend to keep and replace the drive

it's normal to have some bad sectors on any given hard drive since we don't live in a perfect world but if that number ever starts to climb - as yours is clearly doing - you need to have a plan because it may not fail today, tomorrow, or this week but it's definitely gonna happen
