All Specs are good and have niches and strengths that they play to. All three specs are looking viable with Assassination/Subtlety being preferred in raids. Mythic+ meta has not solidified yet but Assassination looked promising during beta.

Be aware that Simulations are a tool to be used to compare things like talents/gear/rotations, they are not the definite answer to what is meta or not meta. While outlaw is ahead in sims right now, especially dungeonslice, you have to take a step back and realize these are synthetic/generic situations that we use as a baseline. Dungeonslice has always been a great showing for outlaw simply due to the fight style matching well with the spec. This is not unusual or unheard of.

• You can go to wowhead and you get the item id in the url of the item

you can install the addon idTip and have it in the tooltip

if you have the simulationcraft addon installed, any item in your bag, vault and your character wears has the id in it.
So you can just /simc and copy/paste it from there

You can also just go to the gear post in tc-research: #tc-research message
The attached file should include all seasonal pve/crafted items and you can use it for top gear (or copy the item id's from it)

The way they work is that the "You can only gain an item once" from the roll has to have come form it. I.e., it's 4 items regardless of what you've earned before. And will only go to 3 items remaining, once you've pulled an item from that loot pool via a bonus roll

general rule of thumb with crests/sending upgrades

is at most you consider 1 week in advance what youre going to do with it

holding any longer than that isn't really worth it
