Yep, most likely scaling shit. At that level your Ilvl should be around 100-135 I believe if it's lower than that, scaling fucked you up

Just noticed I don't know the new ilvl thresholds so I can't say for certain

Just so you can be sure, check a wotlk or mop raids, see what ilvl the bosses drop on normal mode I guess, and that should tell you

You'll be able to convert them to higher tier crests after you hit the breakpoint. What you wanna do though is get as much champion as you can and then upgrade any vet pieces you have left before you move into content where you start wanting the power. If you upgrade your weapon to cap then get a champion or heroic weapon that was a huge waste of a limited resource and now your boots are stuck at veteran 3 until next week

Last expansion I basically did my upgrades half an hour before raid and at no other time because I didn't push keys so I didn't need the power. Weeklies fall over just as easily at mythic 1 gear vs mythic 6 gear

Hey guys, I'm new to retail. Well I'm back. I played years ago but mainly stuck with classic. I went with rogue even though it's a mixed bag at the moment. How do you guys enjoy your rogues so far in midnight? Especially at 90? I'm still leveling midnight but I feel underpowered so far. I went with outlaw for leveling. none stop rotation, meh dps and sucky survability

i think almost everyone feels weak while leveling, especially if you didn't start with max gear from previous expansion and rogue is usually considered below average for leveling with poor self heals and so on, but it's gonna get better, you just have to endure this awkward period 😛 if you enjoy rogue fantasy then stick with it. As soon as you start farming max level gear everything will be much better 🙂

Assassin so far seems best spec early on. I'm leveling a rogue despite most saying it's hard, but it is very fun imo and I like the theme. Only 32 but sub (and outlaw) I had a hard time killing elites, sin can do them pretty easily. I'm sure changes later or maybe not. But I'm enjoying the class. I wanted to try it cause apparently only 3.3% play rogues

Problem is Outlaw is kind of rough for progression compared to a lot of specs because it lacks burst, and it's inability to deal with downtime because CDs feed themselves hurts it a lot.

Certainly viable. Just awkward in a lot of ways.

Practically it's reliant on consistent uptime, and is further punished for downtime with longer CDs.

I'd sim yourself then do some target dummy checks. If you're hitting the dummy for what you sim, you're doing fine and it's the specs shortcomings in practicality.

If you're not meeting the sim DPS within margin of error - likely you doing something wrong.

Make sure sim has no raid buffs.

I should also note - your uptime is fundamentally as much about your ability as a player as it is the encounter. Better players will have better uptime.

But some bosses it's hard to have good uptime too.

Sub much less affected by that, as if you play well you can take very very marginal DPS losses by moving while you're between dances.

What you should try doing if you can't find someone on your faction to craft it: make an opposing faction alt and ask in trade on that side of your realm.
