Is there a need for one? Sim droptimizer and look for the highest expected value. If a dungeon expected value is greater than half a raid boss then you're better off rolling twice in that dungeon.

yes, but not always. was more useful pre-midnight, now it's kinda dependent on the fight. its good for defensives when other stuff is going on or hyper specific feint timings are important (on paladins, there are a lot of overlaps where first instance of damage is 5s before the second instance, so a well timed feint covers both - reminders very good on this fight). also useful when cd timings are a bit strange to keep you on track, if i played sub on dragons I would've set up an offensive reminder set for that. something like alleria though you're just pressing buttons so it doesn't matter

I just tried it, if you step out early you will not get the full buff duration because it starts counting down from 10. But if you step back in before the cloud actually expires you gain another 10 seconds, which would be the same as if you were in it for the full duration of the cloud itself and then getting the additional 10 after the smoke goes away. But while in it, you do not have a "ticking buff" you only receive the buff countdown once the cloud dissipates or you step out of it.
Edit for clarity: So as long as you step back in it at some point before the cloud disappears, you should receive the full 20 seconds.

I have a question based on the latest insights regarding haste breakpoints, etc. (again — sorry).
I couldn't find anything using the search function, and I've been racking my brain over it since yesterday.
I mainly play M+.
So here’s my situation:
I have Guidon from LFR (yes, fk me) vs. the Mythic Track box from the Vault (yeah, I know I’m ridiculously lucky, but I still don’t like the puzzle box).
According to Sims, I can swap out a few items to reach 800+ haste without Guidon. With haste food, according to sims my DPS in Dungeon Slice drops by at least 2.3%.
Guidon on Veteran track is -2.1% for it.
I've tested gear sets with 833 Haste and even nearly 900 Haste on a target dummy, and I find it really tight—and in practice, it's possibly often unrealistic to squeeze the 2nd SecTech and its clones into Shadow Blades (things happen and we are just human).
This raises a number of questions for me (some answers may rule out others).
Is this a target dummy issue, and should it resolve itself in an M+ group? I can’t think of any buffs that are always active and provide that extra haste, tho.
Should I go with Veteran Guidon or switch to other Gear pieces to get to that ~800 haste?
Do the 2nd SecTech clones have to be inside the shadow blades windows?

depending on kill timer, if they send instantly when 2nd blades comes up at like 3:15ish, they'll have it up for 2nd pot at end of fight.
if you hold blades for 2nd amp, you might not have 3rd blades up for 2nd pot.
