nahh class just isnt great in a situation like that

it has been similar with bosses in the past like sub on last boss atal dazar, where if u have cds lining up and a vdh tank for grip sigil and its coordinated and u can grip them barely behind the boss then u can make it work

but the reality is it can be a hindrance in some keys if its not perfectly optimal or if adds arent spawning w ur cds. and any time u gotta full swap to aoe some adds instead of single target usually isnt great but i mean u gotta do what u gotta do

like boomy just press starfall and kill everything with its eyes closed

sp just dot some stuff and afk

basically, play sp and have nimble flurry on a 40 yards aoe range is better, not a fair game at all

i'd swap off from boss only if i see it s needed, otherwise i'd stay on boss and be a handicap by being a melee class

I see, thanks for the response. I'm fairly new to sub so I wasn't sure if my "it feels bad" was due to the fact that I'm not great at sub yet (im sure some of it is regardless) or if sub just wasn't good in that situation.

so just to understand, sub is weaker in aoe that sin .. till 4set/ilvl?

i want to practice on sub so i use it in raid and stuff, but it sims 2M less in 5 targets so i havent been using it in m+

i understand the benefit is focus target dmg

basically my question is, is M+ a good metric for me to learn sub for raid and others, or should i stick with Sin since i only have 2set and its doing more dmg for me

But you have to consider

Sometimes being top on details isn’t what times keys

Someone has to do the boss damage
