Subtlety is designed to be a spec with highs and lows. During your cooldowns you do immense burst and have plenty of buttons to spam but conversely outside of symbols and dance you do not do any damage whatsoever. This means that having some periods of "afk" downtime where you do not press a button because you're out of energy is the intended way the spec plays. As long as its not happening inside your cooldowns (flag/blades/dance/symbols) its not a problem at all, and especially nothing that having more haste would "fix".

i did make the mistake of having shadow blades macroed into flagellation and learned i cant be doing that after i gray parsed 4 fights in a row and finally purple parsed on one-armed bandit

but theres gotta be something else i can do cause 77 isnt good enough for me (could also have bent fault of the 626 TT)

that being said i was also more focued on vers than mastery

New Player needs help
Hi all good Morning. Don't know if i'm right to post this here. I'm a first time Rogue Player - and only one in my Guild i switched 2 weeks ago for this new season from a long time DK Player to currently sub rogue. Now the thing is, i need help from an experienced Sub-Player to help me improve my Rota and show me my mistakes as in my opinion i'm doing the Rotation Okay-ish. I compared the Raid Logs to some boardleaders to improve but i'm only doing green-ish logs even on Itemlevel logs and i don't know why or what i could do to improve further - WoWAnalyzer does not work (yet) for Sub Rogue logs. On our yesterdays kill of HC One arm Bandit i thought i nailed to whole fight pretty good (for a first time Rogue Player) but still - green logs (see here https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/rWLfcxQwjK892MpT?fight=28&type=damage-done) i'd be very happy if somebody has the time to get in contact with me and show me my mistakes or what i can do to further improve as i really really like the class but if i do not improve i might end up on Bench for Mythic Progress which i absolutely do not want. I have around 20% Vers, 95% Mastery, 24% Crit and the rest is Haste. Surely i stll have to improve some gearslots but this will follow anyways as the season progresses.

don't have time for a full log review, but two things about your opener:

1. you want to make sure you press shadow blades immediately after your first sectech
2. don't coldblood the first sectech; it has to be the second one

it's a catastrophe because the second dance is used when the blades end
4:55 blades, second dance is 5:11

Hi! Sometimes my CPs go like Ambush > 7 CPs > Eviscerate > Refill to 7 CPs. Is it because of Secret Techniques through the Shadowcraft talent ? I'd like to make a WA to track when my finisher will give me full CPs (if that's what is happening here) so I don't pre-use an Ambush when I will be at full CPs. Thanks!
