It's actually the least clunky, but I'm just providing info and answering questions, at the end of the day it's your enjoyment. all 4 covenants have logs in the raid, there isn't much a damage difference in dungeon either so you can always be the covenant person

Maximising aoe is just a matter of maintaining bleeds on targets, using shiv on CD etc. gets a bit tricky with vendetta but yeah, sin aoe ain’t the greatest/barely existing

I've noticed assas has only recently been seen as viable in raids (and actually great in pure ST). Is that just because it scales really well with gear? And does that mean gearing up a new rogue at 60 will be rough as assas?

Or did something else change to improve the damage?

gear doesn't mean much, but our very handsome and smart tcers have found optimizations for sin profiles, and 4pc is actually a biig pump for ST

which overall made sin seem weaker at start (plus sub having sylv daggers was better)

but now that many people have access to 4p and correct gear overall (get rid of those sylv daggers), sin looks stronger, compared to the sub option

both specs are on par in ST

it's objectively better than venthyr on some fights, a ton of fun, and great for dungeons

plus its a good idea to have both at 80 renown 🙂
