From my experience you can survive ~2 empowerements after the enrage if you have cds up. Blind sigyr, run, and cloak the shield guys cast on the first. Then blind, evasion and interrupt the shield guy on the second empowerment

For anyone having problems surviving, Leeching Poison completely trivializes the regular incoming damage you take. You could also run a self healing trinket like Abomination Core or Hateful Chain.

Leeching healed me for 43,000 on my kill and I took 64,000 damage total. Scales insanely high in there.

Once you get comfortable with incoming damage, it's just a matter of beating the enrage timer. One thing that helped me was to not leave Sigryn blinded too long. I'd blind her just to interrupt the big cast, then a few seconds later once I was comfy with the other mechanics going on, would break her out and bleed her up to keep damage and leech rolling strong.

I did 885 dps and beat the enrage. Killed the axe thrower completely (he starts enraging more and more often at the end and you lose a ton of dps uptime kiting him around, so get him out of the way ASAP) and the caster was at about 13% hp at the point that he died, and the fight ended when I got her to about 3% hp.

point is for the bs ds question is that it doesnt matter what he chooses, if its BS DS or vigor or whatever most people just play the combination they like and the loss is minimum for a casual player.
